Went here Saturday night and had a great time. Not far from the highway, lots of parking. Most of the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. A few either hated their jobs, or just wanted to go home on a Saturday night. The building was very clean inside. This seems to be primarily for young kids and teenagers. There are many things adults can enjoy also. The pricing for everything seemed fair. I am very cheap, however I thought they were reasonable. Bundle deals available if you are playing a few different games. They have laser tag, ropes course, virtual reality, video games, bumper cars, café, etc. The best thing we did was laser tag. It had New York City post apocalyptic theme, or New York City from the 70s. Couldn't tell much of a difference, I don't really think there is. We played with four people. I think a group of six or eight would be the most. They say you can fit more, but it would be crowded in the room constantly running into people. For four people, it was very spacious. Lots of hidden corners and maze like walls. A few props to hide behind. Seven minutes in the room per game. For the price, I think it's a deal. We also did the VR room. Up to four people can play at a time in the simulation. This is my first time doing it, and it was a very fun and different experience. They had multiple scenarios you could choose from wild West, pirates, military, zombies, etc. We almost changed our mind a few times, but settled on zombies. Everything is explained to you before you get in. Helpful hint, once you put on the shoes, be careful where you step in the pod. Until you're locked in, it's a possibility that you could fall. I will not elaborate on that any further. You get seven minutes, but it flies by very quickly. My first time I had trouble getting used to how it worked. I will enjoy it a lot more when I go back the next time. Had a great time here. Xtreme is great for birthday parties, date night, day out with the kids, or just to get out of the house and have fun.

Yes. Yes. Yes. What a fun date might. Best VR experience in the area by far. I would deffff recommend coming out here and having a fun date or family night with the best VR experience in the tri-state area - no exaggeration.

    Ropes course

My kids can't get enough of this place! There are so many attractions and games, from a ropes course to virtual reality games and an arcade. Everything was very clean, from the bathrooms to the attractions. Staff were all so friendly and everything was very organized. Great food options too! Will definitely be back.

It is an easy place to spend a few hours with friends, and the spacious layout offers something for just about everyone. While I still enjoy visiting, I noticed that one part of the arcade has changed significantly compared to previous visits. The biggest disappointment was the claw machine section. Many of the machines now seem to rely heavily on payout settings rather than consistent claw strength, making it feel like luck and persistence matter more than skill. I also noticed that a number of the prizes have shifted toward lower-value items like packaged snacks and small novelty prizes instead of the plushes and collectibles that originally drew me to play. Because of that, I found myself spending less time on the crane games than I used to. The rest of the arcade remains the strongest part of the experience. There is still an excellent selection of video games, including Japanese rhythm games, racing games, and other arcade classics that are difficult to find elsewhere. Bowling, billiards, and karaoke also provide plenty of entertainment, making it easy to spend an entire afternoon or evening here without relying on the prize machines. The facility itself is clean, well maintained, and large enough that it rarely feels cramped, even when it gets busy. Staff kept the space organized throughout my visit, and everything outside of the claw machine area felt like it was running smoothly. Overall, Round1 at Danbury Fair Mall is still a fun destination for arcade games, bowling, and group outings. While I no longer recommend it as strongly for claw machine enthusiasts, it remains a great place to enjoy the wide variety of games and activities the venue has to offer.

I would definitely go to check out the arcade! The little food area was so dirty. There was no organization and tables were left with all types of trash. There is a kiosk where you order your food if you don't want to wait in line to order and you can pick it up from the front. There was no paper to get a ticket for the food. When we went to pick up our food, we waited for almost an hour to get our food. People who were there after us were getting their food so I went to ask what was going on and literally 5 mins later we got our food. It wasn't great. The fries were good. The chicken fingers and the mozzarella sticks tasted plain and unseasoned. There is also alcohol served with one drink per ID. I will be coming back since the arcade was really fun but not for the food.

First, the bartender was so lovely! I don't drink so I was truly impressed with the number of non-alcoholic beverage options available. I initially ordered a non-alcoholic drink, but then I saw the Shark Attack Mocktail and asked if I could switch to that. Thankfully I caught her right before she started making the first drink! The mocktail was sooo cute and actually really tasty! (See photo I included). I loved the theme of it, especially as summertime is officially here. Now let's talk about the arcade part of this place! The machines take quarters, so use the ones you have in your pocket! No quarters? No problem! They have a machine that will give you them, however it only accepts $1 and $5 bills. No cash? Also not a problem! They have an ATM on site. They really did think of everything, here! Most of the games are old skool, such as Pac-Man, Pinball, Dance Dance Revolution, etc. They also have a claw machine, however it's rigged so don't waste your time or quarters on it (which is exactly what I did, hahah!). Pac-Man is two players and my husband and I had a lot of fun with that one! I also LOVED Dance Dance Revolution (located in the far left corner in the back, behind the bar area) and wish I had found it before I wasted most of our quarters. Most of the games take anywhere from $0.50 to $1 to play, so keep that in mind. The patio is very large and much quieter compared to inside. I loved the atmosphere with all the string lights! They also have two little seating areas that are gated (which kind of look like adult playhouses?) which I think would be an awesome spot to chill with your friends + your dog. No fear of your pup running off! Regarding food: they do have a small menu, however it's mostly snack items like mozzarella sticks, a giant pretzel, things to that nature. What's cool, though, is that they offer vegan chicken nuggets!! Not a lot of bars have these, so it's definitely worth noting. 11/10 recommend that you stop in here while visiting Beacon! We absolutely loved it and would come back in a heartbeat!

When we arrived, everything was up and running as if it were daytime. All the games, rides and attractions were in service. I rode Go Karts for the first time in yearrrs and I actually came in first place. Me! That was dope. The BIG FUN though was all the water rides. Lazy River, pool tubing and the main pool were all open and full of people ready for a great time. We were treated to a DJ who understood the crowd assignment and shoutout to the most wonderful staff. All employees on this night were in a great mood and they gave party vibes too. The promoters didn't over sell this event, so crowds and lines weren't a problem at all. I had such a blast that I wasn't even mad about getting my phone wet. I'm looking forward to going back to The Funplex for another After Dark night out. I thought they were gonna shortchange us but that didn't happen. We were given the whole experience. Good stuff!

The location has go karts, a pool table, arcade, a batting cage and axe throwing stations. The axe throwing stations needed some attention the wood was highly damaged. The ceiling was also pretty low and the axes sometimes hit it which was scary. The employee who took us to the area demonstrated quickly how to throw the axe. He did not explain all the rules or games available. He went and came quickly. I've gone to one axe throwing location before where they took the time to check you in and explain more of the games available. We didn't try any other activities. Originally I had purchased a groupon, but saw they had Friday night specials on their website that fit our needs better. There were no concessions just a vending machine, not sure on the policy if you can bring your own food. You can BYOB for a fee. I probably won't return to this business as it's far from my home and although it had many offerings the fun vibe was just laking. The place was empty. The employees assisted us minimally. It was just lackluster overall.
