I can honestly say this is one of the top five sandwiches I have ever had in life. Their bread is amazing, I am sure they make it on site. I can't even describe what kind of bread it is. My sandwich had horseradish cream cheese. Delicious! Lots of interesting things to buy there as well. I bought some local honey and some liquor. A local classic. The "Judy" has been my go-to since high school too many moons ago. It's pretty much the same, aside from thinner bread and maybe thinned out ingredients; but the flavor is the same and the dressing makes it! I still crave it and get it whenever I can. You really can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches! The market is modest and quaint - I don't think it's changed a bit in over 25 years. Grew up in Beulah and have always loved this place. While the Judy come highly recommend, all of their sandwiches are delicious. In my humble opinion, it's the bread that makes them great. There are a variety of grocery items available here for people to buy. It's a great stop for the last minute picnic-by-the-beach needs. Tip: in the busy summer months, call ahead for your sandwich orders. The deli counter in the back can get pretty busy with people, so make it easier on yourself so all you have to do is walk in and pick them up. read more

Excellent subs and salads. Try the omni or the Judy as far as subs go, both of these are incredible on their homemade buns with the special sauce. The grape chicken salad is always a favorite and they have some seasonal salads that can be amazing. Loaves of bread are excellent as well. They've got enchilada days once a week, Thursday I think, which are real nice heated up for lunch. They've also got assorted groceries and alcohol so it can really be a one stop shop for lunch. read more

Best pizza and subs in Benzie County! A great selection of both, made on fresh pizza dough and bread, baked in their ovens every day. A really fine selection of cheeses, deli salads and homemade soup. Order a veggie pizza and you'll end up with a ton of fresh veggies..whatever is in season, anything from tomatoes to spinach to zucchinni and summer squash to brussels sprouts (it's amazing!). Locals are fiercely devoted to this place. Nice beer and wine selection, as well as well-stocked specialty food items. They also carry local farm-fresh eggs and milk.
