As for the service, well it was slow. Not because the staff wasn't working hard, because they were, but they were clearly understaffed and maybe a little inexperienced. It wasn't wall-to-wall packed, but still things did take a while. Same with the food, everyone around us had ordered, and we could tell the kitchen was struggling. We later heard there was just one cook handling everything ,which explains the long wait. But the food is worth it. We had the beer cheese soup, grilled cheese, and some tots. Throw the tots in the soup, trust me on this one ! Simple but very delicious. The live music was also different, lots of variety and different bands of musicians rotating through with all kinds of styles. They caused a scene and wouldn't give me my real ID back until we threatened to call the police on them since I couldn't make it home without it. The bouncer looked like a dear in headlights when we brought up cops and finally got a second opinion enough for me to get my actual state issued real ID back and STILL WOULD NOT LET US IN. I understand being a stickler for rules, bet your staff should be intelligent enough to know the difference between real and fake IDs without going through my phone....

We finally went one of their events and we got there right at 5pm so that we could get a seat. I love that they have something going on almost every day. I even brought a gift and was able to grab an awesome Krampus one! The place was beautifully decorated and designed. We got 2 alcoholic beverages and one tea order (no booze) and with a small tip it was $35.00, somewhere around there. We were told that two of their AC systems were out and no one would fix on the holiday weekend. I actually felt sorry for them. It was so hot and we have been dealing with 100 degree weather. After we ate, we then went outside and an employee at the shop next door said the owner turns off the AC at night and it takes forever to get it cold the next day. I used to go here all the time when we kept our boat there many years ago and wanted to check it out. What a mistake.
