Veal parm or briquette? I dunno...
Trina L.

What happened? I have been here before and everything was amazing. Things have slowly been going downhill, until tonight. This was rock bottom. We ordered prosciutto wrapped mozzarella. The tomato salad it came in was hot, but the prosciutto and mozzarella were not. The Italian wedding soup was really salty. The Caesar salad was great! All hail Caesar! Kinda wishing we'd just had that and bread. My sister in law and I ordered veal parm, and my niece ordered chicken Milano. The chicken, I'm told, was really good...and it looked fantastic. The sides with it however, were not so good. The veg had an odd taste, and the wedge potatoes went untouched after the first bite. The veal parm was served burnt. As a chef, I would NEVER have let it leave my kitchen... and as a server I would have returned it to the chef right away and refused to serve it. Overall, just a bad dinner.

Nachos were good. Chips were warm and tasty, though didn't enjoy their Italian wedding soup. Was very sour. Didn't taste homemade. Yuck.

It's fun. Been twice. Nothing outstanding. Not sure it's…read moreworth the hype. It's attached to a hotel so parking can be tricky/busy. Food is ok. So far I've had the mussels and fish tacos. Service average. I prefer the bar side. For sure I'll be back.

The family and I came here the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. We arrived for an early bird…read moredinner as a group of 8, with children. The place only had a handful of tables occupied, which was great for us, since we did not have a reservation. It did get busier as the night went on. We were seated at a lovely long table, near the front of the restaurant, away all the other groups, which was awesome and we had a quaint, lovely, family dinner. We all agreed, the menu isn't very inspiring (it really hasn't changed much since I dined here several years ago), but we were there for the company. Some of the group members thought their food was overcooked and ho hum (the chicken wings in particular). I ordered the nachos and thought they were fine, and it hit the spot. Fries were good. My hubby did complain about a bug at the bottom of his wine glass, but we weren't sure if it landed in there prior or after, so we just dismissed it. The service was super friendly and our waitress checked in on us when appropriate, but was not hovering. We weren't rushed out and we were given time to enjoy our food and just hang out, which is why I am giving this restaurant a 4 star. I do wish they added new, fun items to their menu. More bar inspired apps would be nice and updated main meals.

This place was recommended to us by the person we were house-sitting for. I can see why. This place…read morehas a great indoor space and outdoor space, and on a hot day it was nice to be inside for a bit. Looks like they probably do some concerts since they have a nice stage set up in the back. Servers were really friendly getting us situated with our daughter and the wagon we use to transport her around. Very family friendly as we saw several other parents with strollers as well. Nice menu and a lot of good beer options. Opted to try their radler and it was delicious, before I remembered I'm not supposed to have grapefruit. The waitress was quick to get me a replacement Guinness. The food came out pretty quick. My wife got the Tuna Poke Wonton, which came out deconstructed I guess... actually ended up working out pretty well. It was quite good, but the poke wasn't nearly as fresh as what we are used to in California. My chicken burger was delicious, the cranberry and brie on it made me feel like thanksgiving. It was really hearty and heavy for a chicken burger, but worth it! The highlight might be the kids menu though. The kids can pick from 4 items Poutine, Fish & Chips, Burger & Fries, or Mac n Cheese. But, it comes with a drink and dessert. Clearly our daughter was on cloud 9 getting chocolate milk and ice cream included in her meal. Her poutine was quite good too, not too salty, nice gravy flavor and melty curds. If you're in the area this is a great stop for food or drinks or both.
