Chill coffee cafe Drinks: Latte cinnamon brown sugar, great flavors and strong Service: excellent Ambience: super chill, great seating spaces and quiet. In door and outdoor seating. I like that the seating is in different nooks. It's a little away from the mid town but also nice being away from the noise.

Gem in downtown Monterey just a couple of blocks from Alvarado Street. We got the London Fog tea and a cafe latte with vanilla & lavender, both made with oat milk. Our drinks were delicious and perfectly made with just the right amount of flavors, not too sweet, the right hot temperature. We ordered medium sized drinks which were a generous 15 ounce serving. Reasonable prices, clean place with lots of comfortable inside (there are about 3 rooms you can sit in) and an outdoor front patio. They also have baked goods, and other foods (quiche, sandwiches, etc). Very glad to find this cafe. We will be back.

Found this place online and wanted to try a local coffee/tea place. We were greeted by a gentleman that was happy and very accommodating. The place is an old building of some kind so it has several rooms with various seating arrangements. Locals seem to meet up here to discuss everything from interviews to sorting out non profits. The tea and coffee were nothing special, my tea bag was Rishi bag and my friend said his coffee was ok. It was a local atmosphere but I do not think we will visit again when we are in the area.

Visiting Monterey for the weekend and had been frequenting Captain + Stoker for my coffee. Decided to try something different and really enjoyed this place. The latte was nice and strong and the coffee cake was nice too. I think I still prefer Captain+Stoker coffee, but this is definitely a good option. Really spacious with lots of seating as well. Reading some of the negative reviews here makes me think some people caught then on an off day or something.

Stumbled upon this cafe on the way to the aquarium and found this hidden gem. Such a unique cafe with lots of options to choose from. We got a hot vanilla latte with oat milk, an iced hazelnut latte with 2%, and a blue berry muffin that they warmed up for us. Everything was so delicious with along with a short wait time. The staff were great; we will definitely stop in again!

Really great vibes in here! The service was great too!Art helped us and we loved talking with them. I got a vanilla matcha and my partner got the raspberry white mocha. We split a blueberry loaf slice aswell and it was all so delicious! We will be back.

I wanted to like this place and had high hopes but unfortunately it fell short. The coffee was fine, the food was okay (the burrito wasn't the best, but the quiche was pretty good!) the staff was kind but the atmosphere was weird and un appealing. The pictures show it, but we sat next to like a giant pile of old boxes full of random stuff. It seemed a little dirty too. Things just get really out of place here. I'll be back to try again for a redemption review.

Such a cute vibe inside. almost gives a castle feel. The service was pretty standard as it is with most cafes. No problems but also nothing amazing. I got a vanilla matcha latte which for a seemingly random cafe in Monterey was really good. The matcha tasted good quality and the color was dark too. Also got a lemon poppy seed loaf which was much better than starbucks.

We met Raul at the counter. He is by far the most friendly, kind and informed restaurant staff (about gluten sensitivity, gluten allergy and what it is to have Celiac) we've ever met. He explained how he prepares the gluten free dough separate, bakes it separate and plates it separate. Based on Raul's genuine concern and knowledge, my hubby decided to try it. Our family had various different sandwiches. (I had the very delicious Vegetariano.) We all agreed they were THE BEST SANDWICHES WE'VE EVER HAD...EVER...ANYWHERE...(mike drop). The freshly baked bread was incredible, all of the ingredients were fresh, even the side salad was amazing!!! The service was straight out of the old days, when people actually had pride in their work and genuinely cared about how you were treated in their establishment. We wish every restaurant that offers gluten free options could have someone as friendly, kind and knowledgeable as Raul. The ambiance was very cute/quaint inside and out. It was a beautiful sunny day so we sat outside to enjoy the sunshine and listen to the sea lions. Raul came out to check on us and we could not thank him enough for his amazing food and hospitality. When we said how much we enjoyed the gluten free bread, he told us he sold the flour (from Italy) inside. My adult son immediately bought some for us to bake gluten-free bread at home. When we arrived they had a small parking lot but busy because they do a lot of Door Dash and Uber Eats business. Once inside I took a quick look at the menu and saw they had breakfast burritos of either Chorizo-Sausage-Ham-Bacon or Veggie. I chose Chorizo breakfast burrito($10.39) The shop is run by the owner-he was the cashier and the cook. In talking to him,he was telling me that his family owns multiple Mexican small shops like this in the Juarez Mexico area and El Paso Texas area.Says that all the shops use the same recipe for their hot sauce that is served with the burritos. Once the burrito arrived,it was both heavy and warm.Once I cut it open,I was able to appreciate the craftsmanship of this burrito in all its chorizo, egg, potato and cheese glory-it was beautiful. As pretty as it was though,it tasted even better,I had planned on only eating half of it as I had a tee time in less than an hour but one bite led to another and then it was gone. I've had many breakfast burritos in my day and as unexpected as this is to say, this may have been the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Also the aforementioned family-recipe hot sauce that came with the burrito was so spicy yet so tasty--perfect combo to a perfect burrito. In closing,if you ever find yourself in the Monterey area and you want to treat yourself to some upper echelon breakfast burritos-do yourself a favor and stop at 3 Mundos sandwich shop-a top tier food experience awaits.

Each bite was fresh and flavorful, even beforr adding some of the house made salsa, which added an even bigger burst of flavor and some heat. I ate 1/2 on site, and rewrapped the other half and enjoyed that while at the golf course.

Well after my comical round of golf that day,I returned to the shop and I truly stumbled upon a true hidden gem of a sandwich shop. I went with a buddy and we ended up getting two types of sandwiches and we split them. We ordered the Hot Pastrami ($15.00) and the aforementioned Tri-Tip Sandwich($16.00) We also got a large potato salad they offered-not sure on pricing on that. So let's talk about the sandwiches. I really enjoyed the Pastrami quite a bit-it was for sure one of the best Pastramis I've ever tasted, not too fatty and perfectly seasoned. The Tri-Tip though-that was exactly what I thought it would be-true showstopper. You ever have a food item that was so good that it almost kinda pisses you off because you now know this level exists and most likely won't find it again like this?....Well that's what this item was-perfection Tri-Tip on a really well-made sandwich. Their potato salad was really high level as well, total creaminess with perfect balance of seasonings-I could never make mine this well. Their high level of food explained why when I arrived at the little market there were 7-8 people in line in front of us. Parking for this location is all street parking as this place is truly just a little neighborhood market located in a residential neighborhood-If you blinked when driving by,one could miss it. But that doesn't stop them from delivering very high quality food and a permanent stop on my must-visit list whenever I go back to the Monterey area...You should do the same-it's great.

They also added the Ike's sauce which was weird because it's not listed on the menu and when the man read back to me what would be on my sandwich he didn't mention it. Thankfully it wasn't overbearing so I barely noticed it. But I don't know if they are rationing the marinara but there was barely any on the sandwich. The fried chicken also has no flavor or texture. So even though the sandwich has plenty on it it just lacks flavor. My husband got a BLT with avocado. Again it was just fine, nothing special and it lacked flavor as well. For $12 - $15 per sandwich I always want more from it. The sandwiches are a decent size and can be split into 2 meals. So the price is fair. But I just wish there was more going on with them flavor wise. We parked in the Trader Joe's lot behind the store. This place is also walking distance from plenty of hotels.
