Their rep hit me up right away here on Yelp, and I made the drive a few days later to look into a Cerakote finish for my latest handgun conquest. Pricey for sure but my word does it look like a brand new firearm. I'm taking my wife's P22 there soon to get some fun color but the regular gunmetal finish I got for this Colt really is impressive. I have been hunting and fishing my entire life, and it is always nice when you can shop for gear from a local establishment. Buy local as often as possible! The folks at South Carroll Sporting Goods had exactly what I was looking for, and for an unbeatable price! Their little shop does not look like much on the outside, but the atmosphere on the inside rocked! The folks in the front room made you feel welcomed and service was prompt. At the end of the sale I was given a hearty thank you and a firm handshake. You never get that personal touch at the "Big Box" stores! These guys knew their products, were true professionals when dealing with difficult customers (who changed their minds mid-transaction), and just let you know they cared about you as a person and not just as a customer! I spoke to the owner on December 19,2020, and he assured me that the gun was shipped to my FFL and should be there by Tuesday December 22, 2020. As of today December 31,2020, the gun has not been to my FFL and no one has returned my calls. I have called every day for the last week and a half. This is not good business! When you accept money from someone you should at least follow through with the purchase for customer satisfaction. I guess customer satisfaction isn't important to this company?
