    Warning to anyone considering ABC Pest Control -- save yourself the frustration and the money…read more I paid a significant upfront fee for bait box installation, plus $88/month for refill service. For multiple consecutive months, I was charged in full for refills that were never completed. The bait boxes were buried under feet of snow, yet that didn't stop them from billing me as though the work had been done. When I called to question the charges, the technician who showed up admitted he had no idea where the boxes were located -- because he wasn't the one who installed them. He promised to return and handle it. He did come back. The boxes still weren't filled. This pattern repeated for several months: charges processed, service not rendered. When I contacted the company to request credits for the incomplete work, I was stonewalled. Month after month I was told someone would call me back. No one ever did. Instead of a resolution, I received a cancellation letter -- no phone call, no conversation, no accountability. This company has a clear playbook for handling customer complaints: ignore them long enough, then cut ties. Charging full price for work that wasn't done and then ghosting a paying customer when confronted about it is not just poor service -- it's dishonest business practice. I would not recommend ABC Pest Control to anyone.

He saw that not only do we have carpenter bees but we also have a big problem with carpenter ants. Part of the house was being eaten away by the carpenter ants. He was very thorough and knowledgable and I changed over to Thomas. I feel much more confident working with them and am already repairing part of the house that had been being destroyed by carpenter ants that our previous exterminator never even noticed. So far, so good!!!

When I told Isus about it, she argued with me and refused to fix this simple problem. I'm not paying the full price for partial work. So, I cancel, and Tanya comes to pick the equipment up and tries to lecture me on not escalating the problem and that I'd have to pay for inspection to restart. Honey, I shouldn't have had to escalate, and if I need an exterminator again, it won't be your company. Congrats on helping to sour your company's image! Too many other options around to waste time with a company that treats the customer poorly.

    To say I had a horrible and stressful experience with this service would be an understatement.I had…read moreone day to do a turnover between a previous tenant of 3 years and a new one arriving the following day with his pets and after being assure that they could take care of me that day I sent them the pics/information as requested and until that night at 8pm I received no reply,no answers to my numerous calls and no service.I finally recieve a response at 8 pm just saying to call them at 8am the next morning.It was an obvious disregard for the impossible situation I was in.The next morning I get more messages about them coming out then when I had already written that the tenant was arriving at 8:30 am.I was then told I would receive a 10-15% discount and also finally an apology of sorts and that the dispatcher would call me with a time for the service.Honestly,I had expected to get this done at cost after such a blatant screw up and also could'nt wait any longer for a technician from them even despite my lack of confidence.I ended up calling a different service that came out right away as an emergency service.Thisnvould have been handled so differently and with much more humility after I did everything I was supposed to and then some while they completely dropped the ball with me.I would not be afforded such leniency from my clients and had begged forgiveness of my new tenant for this fiasco despite me having no ability to correct it.There was really no excuse for this despite some of the reasons I received from who I assumed was the owner of the company.It is doubly painful when I chose them as they were a local service and I wanted to patronize an independent company with the assumption they would show personalized attention.

He kept in touch all day to let me know when he would be here. During the day I notice another wasp nest in the siding of my house as I was repairing a gutter downspout before Hurricane Henri his us. Mike was professional and friendly, explained what he was going to do, guaranteed his work and even reconnected my downspout. I will definitely call him again if I have any pest problems.

    Very disrespectful to women!…read more I called to ask about some baby birds that were inside a column of my porch. I wanted to ask if they would be ok once they're fully grown since it's a tight space. No one answered. A few minutes later I received a call back from 845-751-8448 from a man saying he's calling from Critter X and he just missed a call from me. I nicely asked the man who called, (didn't state his name) that I had some baby birds inside my porch column and I wanted to know if they know if they'll be ok once they are grown. His exact words "Why wouldn't they be ok? Are you a mom? Do you think a mother bird would put her babies somewhere where they can't get out? You must not be a mom. Are you? (I was shocked with my mouth open not knowing how to respond so I said nothing) Would you put your children where they would be trapped? Aren't you an mom? Obviously not. Hello?"... I replied "Ummmm... why are you asking me that?" And he said "Because if you were a mom you would know that a mother bird would never endanger her baby birds. Now the proper concern is the fleas. The fleas that birds carry. They can get to your pets or your children. And that would be the issue to address." With mouth still open with shock that he is talking to me like I am a POS, not a mother or worthy of being a mother, and as if I don't know how to decide what issue is actually important to call about, I said "Ummm actually my question was about the safety of the birds." And he said "Their mother would never put them in danger. Goodbye." And hung up on me!!! I called his phone right back and he answered "Hello, how can I help you with the baby birds? (In a sarcastic tone)". I asked "I'm sorry, I'm calling back because I want to know why you think it's ok to have talked to me that way?" And he said "Talked to you what way?" I said "Asked me if I were a mother and then said I obviously couldn't be a mother." He said "We were talking about baby birds." I said "Yes but you brought up my fertility. And I am someone who suffered miscarriages and losses. Why would you think it's ok ask a woman that when she's calling about baby birds? May I have your name?". He said "Oh G-d! You obviously are sensitive and feel I said the wrong thing. Have a nice day, Ma'aaaaam!" and hung up! I called back to ask him for his name or ask for a supervisor and they sent me to voicemail! I did not leave a message
