What I didn't realize until weeks later was that my credit union dropped the ball and never deposited it?! As things came to light, Julian, one of the awesome store managers at Whitemarsh, suggested we have a three-way call with my credit union and Carmax to iron out the details and get everything letter perfect so that they could issue a 2nd refund check--which finaly got applied to my account last night! They will keep you sitting around for hours and…read morewhen its time to see the final cost they will mark up the price with things other dealerships will say is optional. I got a car from this location and immediately the A/C died the next day. I took it back since they have what was advertised as a 7 day return to exchange the vehicle. After sitting around the dealership for 4+ hours they finally agreed to let me exchange the vehicle and that I would just need to pay the difference for the new vehicle. Once it came time to fill the paperwork out, they showed me the door price that added an additional $2500 for Lojack, which they claim is already installed on the vehicle and not negotiable (they said the same for the first vehicle I purchased with the dead AC but the cost of that Lojack was only $800). Unfortunately I had no choice since I couldn't have my money refunded, so I had to go through with that sale with the $2500 markup of something thats basically a glorified Airtag. So beware of this place. They will find ways to scam with you these markups that are not negotiable while they claim its because its already installed (remember I was there for 4+ hours, most of that was probably them installing the Lojack device). Ultimately its my fault for not walking out on the first purchase when they added the markup, but if anyone wants to save time and money I'd recommend not dealing with these people. They're also incredibly rude on top of that. Avoid this place if you're buying a used car.

My "Check Engine" light turned on, and my engine wasn't feeling/sounding "normal," as I noticed while sitting at red lights. I remembered that just the other day I'd had difficulty starting my car--a problem I had not had before. Was it safe to drive my car to the airport on this frigid cold Maryland night? I pulled over to figure out my next course of action. I thought it would be safe to at least have a car service station check out the meaning of the "Check Engine" light, since it was still before 5. I used Google Maps to find one nearby, and by complete LUCK, it seems, Maven Motors was just a few blocks away. They were so friendly and welcoming! It was just before closing, and yet they were super accommodating. Eli checked out my engine light on the spot and said it would need servicing. I told them I was doing a lot of traveling and wanted to make sure my car was safe to drive. Eli confirmed it was safe to make my trip to the airport, giving me peace of mind. I dropped my car off on Thursday morning, and they gave me a ride home, for free. They identified other issues, including a problem with a past repair from another shop that did not use the right parts! I thought the price they quoted was quite reasonable. Today they dropped my car off in front of my home and handed me my keys. How's that for customer service? They were quick to respond to my questions, whether by phone or email. There happened to be a mixup on their in the application for an initial car that we were interested in. The staff here is very kind and knowledgeable and they do have a wide variety of vehicles you can purchase. They also detail the car but unfortunately the detail was not as "detailed" as I would like it. another negative was that the electric vehicle we ended up purchasing was not fully charged. In fact, it had less than 50% charge on it.

Any time you have a follow up question or ask about status they (specifically G and Ed) fake their customer service again and neglect to get back to you despite multiple calls and emails.
