The auto shop that I am using is fantastic and trustworthy, they are estimating that if the entire unit is cracked due to the severity of the hammer and screwdriver banging on it, that it may be a job upwards of $1,000. Valvolene has continued to be extremely difficult and although I was told by an area manager weeks ago, to send the invoice upon completion of work, they latest call from another area manager, Ashley said that everything needs to be approved by Valvolene first. Valvolene, Boston Road, Wilbraham, admittedly broke my Wrangler part. I am not trying to be made better, but "the same" as I was when I took my vehicle in to get a simple oil change.

I've reached the point where I call before leaving home because there is often an issue--either the alignment technician isn't available or the shop is too busy, despite the fact that I have a scheduled appointment. This location appears to be very disorganized and lacks proper communication and scheduling practices. Customers should not have to repeatedly confirm whether an appointment will actually be kept. Based on my repeated experiences, I would not recommend the Boston Road Pep Boys location. I arrived at 10:45 a.m. this morning for a state inspection at Brad's, which lists its hours as…read moreopen until noon on both its website and on the service door entrance. There was no sign on the door or at the counter about closing early or stopping inspections. I waited about 15 minutes before being told by the inspector that he wasn't doing any more inspections for the day because he was tired after being there since 8 a.m. He said he told the customer before me that he would be his last inspection -- but another customer wouldn't be responsible for telling me that, and he did not. If there's a cutoff time for inspections, it really needs to be clearly posted so people don't waste their time showing up well before closing and being turned away. Very poor customer service. I do wonder whether the owner or manager is aware of this decision to stop inspections early and the impact it has on customers.
