Ok. Ok so...it's not easy to find, and that is ok. Here is why the seafood is top notch. Living in AZ isn't great for seafood and those trips to San Diego can help. But this is local style seafood and it's excellent. The lobster is fresh (obviously) the clams here are different than I've had but the wait staff helped show this whole lobster rookie the how to. Kids meals are great priced ($6-7) if you got a non seafood eater my wife had the burger it was great. The bang bang shrimp was done really well. But the lobster stole the show. So good. Last but not least the waitstaff was fantastic!

If I could only eat at one place for the rest of my life, it would probably be this place. At least today it would be. Those bleu cheese mussels are crazy good and the fish and chips and fish tacos are fantastic too. The server staff are great and super friendly. Perfect water views while you eat, and it's right by the beach. It's a must if you're in the area. New Hampshire's got it going on, and this is a hidden gem. To me at least.

    Clam chowder

The clam chowder was very thin, not much to it. Service and atmosphere were good being right on the water but the manager was a bit rude about my age and being there alone on a Wednesday afternoon.

two glasses of drink on a bar

Stopped in June 28 for lunch after a morning at Hampton Beach. Sat at the bar and got 2 Caesar salads 1 with lobster and the other with salmon. The head of romaine is cut in half and laid on the plate in a V drizzled with dressing and Parmesan cheese. Really nice presentation and absolutely delicious we both said it was the best we've ever had. Also served with garlic bread like you've never The bartender who was fantastic puréed fresh watermelon, my wife had hers with grey goose mine with hornitos silver. Incredible and refreshing on a 93 degree day.

    Ahi Tuna

Visited a couple months ago all the way from Illinois and it did not disappoint at all! Probably one of the highlights of our trips out East. Lobster pie and lobster bisque were both so buttery and I would highly recommend. My dad got the tuna and it was very fresh tasting and bursting with sesame flavor. Beautiful scenery right on the dock. Amazing!!!

    Blueberry lemonade.

Great food and authentic fisherman's wharf dining. The New England clam chowder was homemade and one of the best I've ever had.

Really have upgraded their food quality, used to be average but now very good. Plus a great atmosphere. Can't wait for next year opening!

Food was good, not great. Wait was long. Prices were high. Worth a try but won't rush back. Busy staff were always friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised with Point Break on a recent visit with friends. When I think dining…read moreon Hampton Beach, my mind turns to pizza and fried dough. This was a nice changeup with casual comfort food. Think pizza, burgers and the like. The dining room is nice, open air out front with outside tables, a big bar and a fun surfer/beach theme. The hostess first tried to bring us to the far back corner of the restaurant and I knew we would not like feeling so isolated from the rest of the diners, so we asked if we could sit elsewhere, and she was quite agreeable. I had my eye on their Mai Tai with a honey foam top, which brought me right back to Hawaii where MonkeyPod restaurant does a similar rendition with a lilikoi foam topping. Point Break served a tasty and potent version. We didn't order apps, but my Mac & Cheese was very good. Seemed that everybody was very happy with their food as well. Fried haddock, pulled pork and a nice salad. Our server was great, and quickly handled one mistake (a full dinner was served instead of a sandwich, and so he brought out the fries which came with the sandwich). Perhaps the only real negative is parking, which is tricky at the south end of Hampton Beach. There is plenty of resident parking nearby, but otherwise you might have to walk a bit to get to a paid parking spot or lot. Give them a try! We don't visit this part of the beach often and rarely for dinner, but we might make an exception to try this spot again.
