One of the best, if not the best bagel shop in New Brunswick/Rutgers area. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but I'd say that's pretty typical for the area. Fast service with a good amount of options and really good bagel sandwiches for the price. They accept Apple Pay which is nice since I have a habit of forgetting my wallet. Huge fan of their scallion and chive cream cheese, it's got a great flavor without being overpowering, and is definitely my go-to here. I like eating it inside a bacon egg and cheese sandwich or just on its own on a bagel. And the bagels themselves usually have a lovely, chewy texture and taste nice. Only a few minor complaints about this spot: first is that their little coffee corner is a bit lacking. I know there are shops on Easton that are dedicated to just coffee/tea but it would be nice to have something like non dairy creamer or a latte all in the same place as breakfast. This spot just has self serve coffee from the pot, which is okay in a pinch but definitely isn't where it could be. Second would be that the eggs in the bagel sandwiches are not very consistent, sometimes not for the better. I've ordered a sandwich with eggs in it and gotten lovely, fried eggs that have a perfect texture. Then other times I've gotten a scrambled-y overcooked egg mess that looked like a bunch of scraps they just stuffed in there. That being said, the eggs usually taste just fine, but a bit more consistency and attention to this would be greatly appreciated and increase overall quality here. read more

Small little bagel shop. Bagles are more of a NY style bagel with a hole in the middle somewhere between the size of a quarter and a half dollar. In other words they are not puffy or chewy bagels. And they are heavily seasoned, but only on the top side. I stoped in for a sausage egg and cheese but they also have other breakfast items which they serve all day ie. pankackes hash browns among others and lunch items such as hamburgers and grill chiken. read more

I ordered an egg and cheese on an everything bagel and was not disappointed! It was pretty standard but really yummy. I give it 4 stars because it wasn't anything outstanding. Still really good though. Also, might just be me, but I just personally don't like salt on my everything bagels and they do have that. Just a note! They do more than bagels here. They serve lunch here as well, but no dinner. They close by late afternoon. Its a nice little shop off Easton Ave. They have a nice staff and very helpful. I bought a bag of bagels here for under 5 bucks. I got my toasted garlic bagel here with eggs, cheese, and crispy bacon! The garlic could have been more on the bagel but it was still very good. I would go back here to try their sandwiches at lunch time. The place isnt big, but no one really stays and eat a meal in a place like this! I will come back next week and try their other breakfast menu meals. read more

I really like the staff and baked goods. However, the breakfast sandwiches leave a lot to be desired. Every time I get a sandwich with egg on it, it's a big sloppy mess. They put too much egg on it and it's not cooked well. Bagel not toasted. The pork roll was just barely cooked. Basically end up throwing most of it out. Second time. Huge...way bigger than the bagels I'm used to in Montreal and puffier than the flat bagels from Brooklyn I used to eat when I lived there. I could barely finish my egg and cheese on a bagel yesterday. My boyfriend had the bacon, egg, and cheese wrap and he had a hard time finishing it as well. Today I got an everything bagel with lox spread (cream cheese with pieces of lox mixed in). It was overflowing with the savory spread and very filling. Easton Grill Bagel Express is one of my go-to establishments if I'm looking for a porkroll, egg, and cheese sandwich in the morning. The breakfast sandwiches are always delicious and extremely quickly made. It almost never takes more than 5 minutes for my sandwich to be ready. They also offer a decent variety of other bagels, including cinnamon and super cinnamon, both of which my girlfriend enjoys toasted with creme cheese. While it might be inconvenient for some because the establishment is cash-only, they have good variety and a parking lot across the street in addition to on-street parking for easy access. read more

A great takeout place for any sort of breakfast where you really get your money's worth. Their wraps are absolutely massive, the pancakes and muffins are great too. They have a good selection of bagels and some pastries as well as a wide variety of breakfast/lunch sandwiches. They're one of the few places in the area that's open for breakfast, so a lot of people will stop in. They close around 3 in the afternoon, so they only do breakfast/lunch. I used to live near this place, and have been there plenty of times. The food may seem a little more expensive that what I'm willing to pay for a breakfast sandwich in a college town, but many of their sandwiches are very large and you may get a solid two meals out of them - even when I'm super hungry I haven't been able to finish a whole quesadilla. The staff is nice, the food is prepared in a reasonable time. There's a few tables, but a lot of people tend to get their food to go. I've been here a few times in my time at school, and if It wasn't for the convenience of it, this place would be closed down. The bagels are passable as far as breakfast places go, probably marginally better than hole in the wall. But like most places in new Brunswick, this place is able to survive with subpar service and quality. I order with a group of friends a simple order, a toasted bagel with butter. Somehow, it's not completed until after a half dozen breakfast sandwiches have been rung up. How is that possible? This has happened to me on multiple occasions.
