Over the course of 22 years my wife and I have had 46 cars. We bought our 47th from Todd and Sydney and this was the best experience we've ever had buying a vehicle. Zero pressure, super easy going, and extremely smooth and effort free transaction. Not to mention some of the coolest cars anywhere around. If we are in the market again this will be the place we go. Great job!!!

Came here and bought my BMW about a month ago and was very pleased with how everything was handled, was able to get everything done quickly and efficiently, definitely will be back for future purchases!

After a few text messages back and fourth trying to establish a good time for when to bring my vehicle in, I was completed ghosted. No replies to text. Seems like this person fell off the edge of the earth never to be heard from again. I also contacted my salesperson Brody and he never got back to me. In addition I asked Brody prior to this woman contacting me if I had any complimentary oil changes after purchasing the vehicle and his answer was no so I was surprised that this woman would even contact me at all in the first place. I firmly believe that accountability and follow up should be strictly enforced especially when someone makes contacts you and initiates a false offer and then completely cuts off communications. Pretty disappointed. Who knows. Maybe she was an intern or got fired but nonetheless, there should be some accountability especially if you want returning customers in the future. The vehicle runs nice though. No issues. If you're here to buy the vehicle, only expect that. Have it serviced at another place where you feel that your time is respected without being led-on for false expectations. Time to take the heat gun and remove the silly Herzog-Meier Dealer badge they added to my rear hatch for advertising purposes.

I explained a/c not blowing cold but Honda extended warranty on a/c and I wanted oil change. I also had concerns about transmission lurching/surging and explained what it was doing. I explained that I have brought up my concerns about the transmission before to both Dick's Hillsboro Honda and Beaverton Honda in past visits for oil changes and was told this is normal. I mentioned several internet searches about these 10 speed transmissions showed up frequently for that model year having the problem as I described. Advisor researched and said only bulletin was for a/c and nothing on transmission and that my car was not 10 speed. We scheduled appt. for oil change, a/c diagnostic and tranny diagnostic. He stated two seperate fees for both diagnostics and that if a/c condensor was issue then fee would be waived and covered under warranty. I later got home and did more research and sent this, Honda Service Bulletin (TSB) #19-091, issued on November 10, 2019, addresses 10-speed transmission shift quality issues in early production 2018-2019 Honda Accord models equipped with the 2.0L engine. [1, 2] Key Details of TSB 19-091 Fix: Software calibration update for the Transmission Control Module (TCM). Purpose: Addresses harsh shifting between gears and improves torque converter response. Symptoms: Harsh shifts/clunking noises (specifically 5th to 6th, and 8th to 9th gears). Delayed engagement. Rough downshifts. Shift lag during acceleration. Hesitation or a "rubber band" feel. [1, 2, 3, 4] Affected Vehicles 2018-2019 Honda Accord (10-speed automatic models, primarily 2.0L). Applies to early production models. [1] Additional Information Resolution: Many users report that this update alleviates, but does not completely eliminate, the inherently "clunky" nature of the 10-speed transmission at low speeds. Diagnosis: If a fluid service does not resolve the harshness, this software update is the next recommended step before considering torque converter replacement. Alternative Solutions: If symptoms persist after the update, some users have reported that "learning" to drive with specific throttle inputs (e.g., 25% throttle) helps, or that the transmission requires a long "break-in" period of 15,000-20,000 miles. [5, 6, 7] It is highly recommended to consult a Honda dealer to verify if your specific VIN is covered under this or subsequent service bulletins. AI responses may include mistakes. I looked up the bulletin 19-091 and its for the a/c condenser warranty extension. I tried looking up anything else in the Honda database related to transmission judder/acceleration issue and I could not find anything related. Your vehicle also does not have a 10-speed transmission so I don't think that article pertains to an Accord. 10 speeds are only in Honda odyssey's and Pilots that I'm aware of. I began to get worried about the statement of my car not being a 10 speed and was going to cancel but decided not to. The bulletin number maybe wrong or it maybe a broader range related. I knew it is not a recall or warranty extention but possibly a Service Bulletin concern. I asked to have tech check for TCM updates. Fast forward to repairs, a/c fixed under warrenty, oil changed, 10 point inspection done w/recommendations of brake fluid flush and transmission drain and fill along with hard battery reset. I declined reset and did one according to YouTube using accelerator pedal. I took car in early on a Wed., picked up car late day Thurs. then the car sat until early Fri. morning. I drove to Astoria, Oregon from Beaverton and everything fine. The car sat in lot from fri-wed. because everything within walking distance. Got in to start car and drive home and noticed noises from underhood. I called Beaverton Honda immediately and the response from service desk was, we can get you in tomorrow to look at it BUT there will be a diagnostic fee. I explained my car was just in there. I said I need it looked at so whatever. I was not happy and after stewing on it cancelled the appt. How many diagnostic fees do you want?

She made sure I never had any unanswered questions and kept me up to date on what was happening with the car. Other dealerships I visited didn't know much about the Niro, so I pretty much taught myself as I did test drives, but Kristen is extremely educated on the Niros and it was very refreshing to finally not have someone telling me "I'm not sure." Thrown into the fire with zero training, a toxic inner-circle culture, and unacceptable management…read morepractices. If you are considering employment at Beaverton Hyundai as a service advisor, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. My experience here was deeply disappointing, disorganized, and handled with a shocking lack of professional courtesy. Here is a look at how things really run behind the scenes: Zero Onboarding or Training: During the hiring process, I was completely transparent about my exact background. Despite taking nearly three weeks just to get me onboarded, I received virtually zero training when I arrived. Although hired for express service, I was immediately thrown into the deep end and expected to write up both express and main shop appointments simultaneously, left to figure the system out completely on my own. Abandoned by Management & Chronic Overload: Shortly after I started, management went out on leave for a week for surgery, leaving everyone to drown without real guidance or support. The shop floor was constantly flooded with zero cap on BDC appointments, leading to gridlock. Because of the overwhelming volume, I barely ever got to take a lunch break--maybe five or six times the entire month--and I had to come in early and stay 10 to 40 minutes late every single day just to stay afloat. Favoritism, Inner-Circle Dynamics & Safety Concerns: There was a clear inner circle and heavy favoritism built around people who came from the same previous Hyundai dealership as my manager--including a specific service writer, the gentleman who dispatches, and one of the technicians. That particular service writer was allowed to sit at his desk, do nothing, not help anyone, not answer phone calls, and not move cars, and he was only finally talked to after I noticed it and said something. Forced Written Communication & Aggressive Backlash: We were forced to communicate strictly in writing. When something wasn't done "correctly," it was never handled as constructive coaching or guidance; instead, I was aggressively attacked over personal text, with zero consideration given to the fact that I had just started the job and was still learning. Meanwhile, shop safety was completely compromised on public group texts where alarming comments regarding time tracking and vehicle reassembly were casually normalized and ignored by leadership. Specifically, technicians posted alarming safety threats regarding time tracking, writing things like: "Just saying, if I only get paid 12 minutes then you might not get all the lugnuts tight. I stop at 12 minutes." When I tried to professionally ask the group to dial back the friction and act like a team, it was met with empty oversight. Customer Wins Despite the Chaos: Despite the lack of training and constant gridlock, I worked hard, wrote thorough statuses, turned angry customers around, and even earned direct kudos and positive recognition from clients who appreciated my effort. Confusion Over Compensation & Pay Discrepancies: When I was first hired, I was told I would be paid hourly for the first couple of weeks of training. Even though I was apparently still considered in training after four weeks, I instead received a draw check. When I asked management about it, she completely brushed off the situation and said, "Oh, well, you'll get your big check the next time." In the end, after working 171 hours, my subsequent check was only $1,800 (on top of a $1,500 draw), leaving all of my potential overtime from coming in early, staying late, and working through nearly all my lunches completely unaccounted for. Instead of a professional face-to-face conversation, I was abruptly fired over the phone. Management told me she was doing it to "save me the embarrassment" of coming in, claimed she "normally doesn't do this kind of stuff over the phone," and had already boxed up all my personal items for me without me present. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
