I had an exceptional experience working with D'angelo Auto Sales! David, Chris, and Chase are all very personable and down to earth, making our transaction a very pleasant one. These guys are the antithesis to the 'used car salesman' stereotype and I'd strongly encourage you to consider visiting with them as you search for your next vehicle. Knowledgeable, prompt, professional, courteous, and fair. My car was just as described/pictured on the website and they quickly resolved a minor issue we discovered during the test drive. Couldn't be happier with my new car and the dealer I chose!

D'Angelo and his team put me in my dream wagon. No games or nonsense. Extremely satisfied. Will be coming back to them and would recommend them to anyone.

Wife and I bought a Beetle from here recently, was such a good experience compared to other dealers that I felt inclined to add a review. Chase and the owner were super friendly, helpful and didn't pressure us at all! The buying process was easy, fast and there were no surprises. Highly recommend!

David was very responsive and so very pleasant to work with. He made buying a car easy and stayed after hours for me.

I love my new Tiguan. Hella clean.

My salesman, Evan Miller, was outstanding from start to finish. There was absolutely no pressure at any point. We stayed in touch over the entire month while I worked through my options, and he was patient, responsive, and incredibly accommodating--even when I know I wasn't the easiest customer. He stuck with it until we found exactly what I wanted. With the help of Sales Manager Jacob Inukai, they not only secured the specific vehicle I was after, but actually exceeded my expectations. On top of that, they worked with me to get the deal exactly where I needed it to be. (Side note: there are a couple of fellow Army grunts working there as well--if you know, you know.) I also want to give a shoutout to Dave in Finance--he made that part of the process genuinely enjoyable, which is not something you hear often. Let's be honest--car salespeople don't always have the best reputation, and sometimes that's earned. I'm also at the stage in life where I have zero patience for pushy, high-pressure tactics. That's exactly what I didn't experience here. The entire team was straightforward, easy to work with, and focused on making sure I left satisfied. I can't say enough good things about this group. If you're looking for a dealership that treats you right and works with you--not against you--this is it. Thanks again to everyone at Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai--I'll definitely be back. Jeff B

Beware the "Diamond Ceramic Appearance Protection", all the little lies, and the dropped balls…read moreregarding registration paperwork - especially if you're WA state. The key TL;DR is that "Diamond Ceramic Protection" is an extended warranty being presented as a physical, material coating on the car, which makes quite a difference in whether the customer understands that it's an optional upsell. There is a window decal that says "Protected by Ceramic Coating". This is a flat-out lie and I would hope illegal. Things I was told, in order of telling by sales rep Domingo Castro, manager Lyle Schirm, and finance guy Dillon Schmidt, that did not age well: "The internet price is already our best price, because if we didn't offer our best price there, no one would come buy cars." "I'm already losing ~$700 on this car." "I'm not the numbers guy, I don't know what we paid for it." "The diamond ceramic protection is sprayed on, it's like Scotch Guard." "We can replace the car, but we can't replace you, the customer, so I'm giving you this offer". "I know the contract in front of you says the Diamond Ceramic Appearance Protection warranty is optional and you previously told us to remove it from the quote, but you already signed the agreement to buy the car at this price... (dramatic pause)" "I can take off the extended warranty, but I'm going to have to take away $340 of your negotiated discount because you're cutting into my profit margin on this car." "Why would you want to use your own license plates? They only cost $10-$15 to replace. No, I don't know what the rules are in Washington." (In WA they'll charge you $100 for new plates when registering an out-of-state car.) For Washington buyers, Dick's Hyundai apparently sends all registration paperwork to a licensing office just across the border. But the reps don't know that WA handles this using private offices rather than a single state office, so to them your question of where they sent your paperwork doesn't even make sense. They'll just say they sent it to Washington, and you'll get to spend hours sorting it out if anything wasn't done correctly or if you want to use your own plates. A WA licensing office cannot deposit a check that's an over-payment, they need a new check in the exact amount. Dick's charges a $50 non-optional "electronic document processing fee", in addition to the state-standard $200 registration processing fee. My fellow humans, it doesn't have to be like this. If you're looking for a place to buy a car, keep looking.

I feel that this dealership was repeatedly dishonest with me during and after the purchase of my vehicle. During the sale, the person handling the paperwork raised their voice at me several times while I was reviewing documents, which felt like an attempt to rush me into signing without a full review. Afterwards, he pressured me to write a review at the desk with him present. After the purchase, my mechanic found the car needed over $1,000 in repairs. In addition, several fluids were low, and both the engine and cabin air filters needed to be replaced. None of this was disclosed at the time of sale. Regarding the Nissan Altima mentioned above -- that was my former vehicle, which I traded in for a $200 discount. The dealership explicitly told me it was going to the junkyard. That was the only reason I agreed to part with it for so little. Based on a mechanic's inspection that can be seen on the vehicle's CARFAX, I believe the junkyard is the best place for this vehicle: it had a split CV axle and extensive power steering issues, with repairs estimated around $10,000.

About a week after I had purchased this car the check engine light came on and I took it to a mechanic. The mechanic had a long list of things wrong with my car, he had said his reader pulled up 30 codes, something that had never happened before. The most concerning part of this for me is that the air bags had been tampered with, the mechanic said it was likely a salvaged title, and the car is unsafe to drive. I was not informed of any accidents. The car is still running but makes very strange sounds, and I do not drive it more than 15 miles at a time, and I feel very trapped by these circumstances. As a single mom I cannot afford to get another car loan. Although they claim to sell the vehicles as is and are unwilling to make returns, after many conversations and threats to pursue legal action, they were willing to take the car back, but asked me to pay DMV fees and mileage, to which I declined as I had already paid DMV fees and am unwilling to pay mileage. It is very concerning to me that so many people have come out with similar experiences to mine in such a small amount of time. I have spoken with a lawyer, filed a consumer complaint and I am prepared to proceed forward with legal action. After a terrifying previous encounter with another dealerships finance manager... Nathan, my mom and me had the literal BEST TIME cracking the absolute funniest jokes together.. I could not have asked for a better experience to replace the bad memories someone else created for me. Thank you so much Nathan, you truly made the day even more special. Also for the record, NATHAN SAID. Last but absolutely not least, if it wasn't for David, the general sales manager over at Royal Moore Toyota, I wouldn't have had this opportunity to purchase a brand new car at all. He truly went so far out of his way for me, to help me when I was being wronged by another company, to guide me on what to do and the steps to take to protect me as a consumer after being sold a vehicle with undisclosed major accident damage. With his help and a miracle I was able to climb my way out of a fraudulent bad deal with another dealership. He then referred me over to the awesome employees at Royal Moore Mazda where I purchased my beautiful brand new 2026 GMC Acadia Elevation Black Edition. After a week and a half they install the new transmission, but said there was something wrong so they kept working on it. Another week goes by and they say they need to order ANOTHER trans. At this point we are very frustrated as we needed this vehicle back 3 weeks ago. But I mean who knows what is really going on so we just hang tight. Finally, a MONTH later, we get a text that the trans was replaced and good to go but they didn't have time to fully fix the ac. Didn't have time? You had it for a month and decided until the last day to look at the AC. They replaced the blower motor but said they would have to take the whole thing out and didn't have time for it, so it was ultimately a temporary fix for a full charge. After asking for a price break down he gave us $150 off. Woopie after a $7,500 ordeal that didn't feel sufficient. They then charged our card for the second half of our bill after we explicitly said "we do not authorize this charge" and we also don't remember saying they could save the card on file..... if that wasn't all enough to make us never come back we then find out the tire was never fixed after it went flat on the road a few days later. The amount of money I ended up having to spend over the 2+ months I was waiting and paying for this car to be repaired and I could have bought a new 2026 from an actual Subaru Dealership. How bad was it? The cars engine over pressurized on the way home and destroyed everything in the engine bay. We ended up having to buy ANOTHER car while we waited. My daughter was starting a job with a commute as soon as she moved to Portland, so I couldn't wait for this dealership to spend over a month and a half, hashing back and forth with their shade tree mechanic about how he "didn't do the repairs right." After everything was said and done, I ended up spending about 23k on a car that SHOULD have gone to the parts/scrap yard. Not sitting for sale in a dealership. Top that off with having to buy another car at the tune of 10k, really stung. All that being said, the real Dealership that took this turd and actually made it NOT a massive pile was Accolade Autos in Hillsboro. If you need a GOOD used Subaru, with an actual HONEST mechanic. I highly recommend this shop. Jon is top notch and a third generation Subaru mechanic.
