I had a paper wasp nest that needed to be removed in tight location where the deck support beams went into my home. My wife found Eastside Wasp Removal as a recommended business in one of the Facebook groups she was in. I texted on a Sunday and someone responded to me within an hour and scheduled Sam to come on Friday (5 days later, which was the soonest he had available). Sam came on Friday and he was extremely professional. He temporarily removed some deck flooring, cut access into the siding, removed the wasp nest, and replaced/resealed everything when he was done--all in less than 90 minutes. After the work was done, Sam gave me some great suggestions to prevent this in the future (laying out 3-4 wasp traps in the early spring based on the size my property). By the evening, the last few straggling wasps (that were trying to return to their missing nest) dispersed just like what Sam said they would do. Overall, their response time was great and Sam was very professional and courteous. I also appreciated how he cleaned up and repaired the area where the damage was done. We noticed a large hole in the yard with active bees around it. I emailed the company asking about their services. I received an email back in a short time offering an appointment tomorrow and giving me the fee amount. He showed up precisely on time. He had all the equipment needed to collect the bees and dig up the nest. He also said if needed he will come back if rest of the bees try to restart that nest area. I called Nathan earlier today about a problem I was having with a bald-faced hornet's nest and some paper wasps that had built multiple nests in a wall. He explained his no-kill method and although I was skeptical (I thought I would much rather kill the nasty beasts than let him remove them) I decided to give his method a try. In less than three hours, he came over, assessed the situation and successfully removed the hornet and wasp nests, even caulking the entry points in the wall. They were a lifesaver! I'm vegan and refuse to kill animals. But my partner was moving in in 3 days and needed access to the shed where their nest was, and has no such compunctions about killing animals. He was threatening RAID with its toxic nerve agents if I couldn't get rid of them by the day they moved..... I had tried everything from smoking them out myself (just made them angry and turns out I'm allergic) to hanging fake nests....I called around, but no one would come to Burien/White Center. Called yesterday and Nathan was able to come by this afternoon to assess our bee situation that turned out to be yellow jackets. They built a nest inside our exhaust vent and were starting to come inside the house. Nathan was able to extract the jackets and the nest without using any chemicals or damaging the surrounding area. Lifesavers! Unexpectedly, just as we were leaving for the airport for a one week holiday vacation on July 3rd, we looked up and saw a gigantic wasp nest protruding from a vent on the side of the house just above our heads.
