This week I had the chance to buy a new Street Bob from Eastside Harley. I first started by reaching out to them via email and asking about availability of a bike they had on their site. Krystel was the first to respond, did so very quickly, and then looped in Johnny to get me the final details I needed. Within a couple short emails, Johnny not only had my deal locked in, but also had agreed upon numbers for a more complicated deal with a friend of mine (his bike is being ordered, so not quite a done deal yet). The numbers for both were fair, and Johnny didn't waste either of our time going back and forth, which means a lot. When I got to the dealer I was helped first and last by Jerry. He was a super nice guy, took great care of me, walked through the features, and answered any questions I had. The shop even had the preload adjusted for me like I asked. Not only that, Jerry helped me load the bike in my trailer on a hot day, which made it much easier to do. After a short wait on a very comfy couch, I met with Joey, the finance and paperwork guy. Joey was great. No high pressure sales to buy the extra packages, he did walk through everything, but was respectful of my time and decisions at every step. We ended up not only taking care of paperwork but having a few laughs over a shared hobby and places we'd been. It's not everyday you're wanting this part of buying a car or bike to take longer just because you're having fun talking with the guy! All in all, this was my favorite motorcycle or car buying experience I can recall. Everyone at the store was super kind and seemed genuinely happy for me picking up my new bike. The folks at the different departments on the tour were all very nice, helpful, and informative. I drove past no less than 4 other Harley dealers to do the deal with these folks because they treat you the way you should be treated. After all, shouldn't buying a new motorcycle be one of the most fun days you could have? Eastside Harley seems to think so, and it shows.

It's Harley , Let's get into this. It's where I got my road king. The customer services is on point. They are willing to work with you and stay up front with costs. They explained everything and were very detailed. The cost, except to pay a hundred bucks for basically anything. It's expensive, however with that said the quality has went up since the KTM days. I do my own maintenance and have a service manual. My bike has had no issues in the past 3 years. And I am an all season rider. Except snow and ice) The service department. I have no complaints. They sometimes do free install for things you buy. You must schedule it but if you keep a good calendar and stay on point you can take advantage of the sometimes free service they provide. What I like most is the community and communication over the years. The sales team seems to care about your experience and they did not try to be pushy. If your looking for a bike give them a go. Ps be sure to check in on Yelp for your free coin) also be sure to have your mask. They are following Covid guidelines.

Eastside Harley Davidson is not just a dealer and we are not just a customer.... We become extended family - you are greeted by name and everyone is kind and willing to help . My bike was brought in after an accident and they carefully made her new again. Grateful !!

No bolt here and I've been riding around with the passenger seat completely unsecured. **There was a bolt when I brought the bike home. I haven't had it long, it is stored my garage, and somehow for some reason the bolt came out. I wanted to update this review because I did look at pictures and verified this.

In a world where Harley Davidson parts people don't know the difference between a clutch lever and an actual clutch, Frank in Eastside's parts department is a shining star! Frank is the reason our dealership chooses Eastside Harley Davidson for parts to keep our customers happy!

I called Jon at Eastside and not only did he answer the questions the other dealers couldn't or wouldn't, he made the entire process very easy.

I was having a problem with my bike so called Optimum. They said it couldn't be seen for a couple weeks so an appointment was made. You'd think that having an appointment, particularly one you had to wait weeks for, would mean your bike would be looked at fairly quickly. After all, why else have an appointment if it isn't designating the time you're going to get service? And, indeed, when I dropped it off Porcia told me she'd have her tech look at it and get back to me in a couple days. But after a week, I'd heard nothing. NEVER RETURN CALLS So I called, got their voice mail and left a message which was never returned. Three more calls, two more weeks, and still no calls returned. Finally I called the main number and said I'm having difficulty reaching the service desk. A woman who did not identify herself got on the phone, rattled off some boilerplate sentences saying her tech has been busy, but she'd get back to me the next day. Since she never asked who I was or which bike was mine and said nothing but generalities I didn't believe I was getting anything other than being "handled" and brushed off. And, as expected, I didn't get called the next day. MISREPRESENT THE WORK THEY DID Finally got a text from Porcia: "my technician went on about two decently long test rides today" and had duplicated the problem. But when I picked up the bike, the odometer hadn't changed. My bike wasn't even taken for a test drive down the block, let alone "two decently long test rides". How much service time was I charged for test rides and other work and diagnostics that were not actually performed? FOCUS ON "HANDLING THE CUSTOMER INSTEAD OF ADDRESSING THE ISSUES I wrote the Service Dept Manager (Michael Mason per their website) about all this but the reply came from Porcia with an attempt to explain how a "long test ride" doesn't really mean a test ride at all and more I'm-reviewing-this-with-our-service-dept-team PR handling. (If they actually have a "team", why can't anyone return a call?) Finally I got a call from "General Manager" Adrielle who delivered more "handle the customer" by throwing Porcia under the bus ("I've been working with her on being better") now claiming they'd actually did two hours of diagnostics that they never billed me for (at $200/hr). Something they never mentioned ever before until I raised a question about them charging me for work not performed. SUMMARY Never call back when they say they will. Make up excuses that they didn't mean what they said. Suddenly come up with claim they took $400 off the bill they never mentioned before. Handle the customer instead of actually attempting to resolve any issues. Lose a long time customer.

He went above and beyond--spent extra time going over my bike with me, and even strapped it into the trailer and showed me some helpful tips for doing it myself when the time comes. What should have been a reasonable repair turned into months of waiting with almost no accountability from their staff. To make things even worse, they held my jet skis in their yard for so long that the motor ended up no longer working properly afterward. The lack of care, urgency, and professionalism was unbelievable. I trusted them with expensive equipment and felt completely taken advantage of by the end of the experience. If you value your time, money, or property, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. There are plenty of shops that actually respect their customers and stand behind their work. This place does not.
