Decent healthy option in a sea of fast food and American bbq, but quality of food was a bit of a miss. Ordered a strawberry açaí smoothie but it leaned more on the strawberry side. Got an avocado tuna wrap, which was missing 2 key ingredients, the avocado and hummus, still a good tuna wrap but not what was advertised. I also didn't speak up so that was on me, but we were on the road and didn't have time to get it remade. High opportunity if they can figure out their food better.

Cute spot in Bishop to grab a smoothie or quick bite to eat. Staff was very friendly and smoothies tasted great.

This place is great! Very healthy. Good smoothies and drinks and I like their sandwiches. It's a healthy and good lunch option in Bishop.

Sometimes when I am on a road trip, I find myself snacking too much. Then I get that urge to put something healthy in my body. While passing through Bishop on a road ski trip, I came across Eastside Juice and made a quick stop for a smoothie. Eastside Juice has fresh-squeezed juices, smoothies, acai bowls, wraps and salads. The store is clean and spacious and has comfortable couches in the front to sit and relax on. The person that made my drink was nice and helpful in explaining some of the menu items for me. I loved my Purple Power and glad I came across this place for that extra burst of energy that I needed for my long drive.

Really good smoothies for a good price ;) it's kinda funny inside like there are fruit pillows and pretty millennial decor but it's wholesome. Really good green smoothie, I forget the name lol the one with coconut water and pineapple and spinach

We came here when it wasn't so busy so our smoothies were served up quickly. It was my first and only time there so I don't know if my review of my smoothie reflects how they're made regularly, or if I just happened to get a really watery smoothie. I guess we live in a time where smoothies are $8~$14 now?? Obv I don't get out much for smoothies so this comes as a huge shock for me. For $9, I got the Almond Butter Delight. I like that it wasn't over-the-top sweet. The sweetness in the smoothie came from the coconut water and banana. To make this vegan, I swapped the whey protein for hemp protein. While the smoothie tasted really good, it was super watery (see video). I really like my smoothies thick and milkshake-like. Otherwise, why pay this premium for a watery smoothie someone can make at home with a non-professional-grade low power blender? Anyway, this pretty much the only smoothie place in town, so at least there's a place to get smoothies. The ingredients are clean and don't have added sugar which is a huge bonus.

I'm giving 4 starts because the service was great! There was only one employee and she took great care of me and my friends. The juice was pretty good, but I'm from Los Angeles so the juice bars set the bar pretty high for me. I know that sounds annoying but honestly the juice was good! It was a little pricey. A little over $15 for a large green juice, but it was delicious! We also got some apple cider vinegar shots that were refreshing! I thought the ambiance was pretty and was decorated nice. I also liked the parking lot, parking was nice and easy.

This place is a great find if you are looking for fresh, made to order tasty food. I am super picky- 200 days a year on the road and this place is terrific. Hispanic owned, very clean and fast service. I had a couple of the fresh juice options (juiced in front of me). Had the turkey pesto panini with artichokes and before that had the tuna stuffed avocado. Both were on point with a great flavor combos. Each entree could be two meals Deserves more reviews and more patrons. Thanks Eastside for at least 3 great meals.

Perfect! Healthiest food around . Eat here and feel good . ROCK ON with twenty billion smoothie socks on. Got a Panini with turkey cheese and pesto and it was Amazing. The smoothie selection is the best I have seen a long time

Ahh I so wanted to love this place for its clean and healthy eats, but was sadly disappointed with our experience here. We stopped by to pick up breakfast and lunches for our hike at the Ancient Bristlepine Forest. We called to order pick up and the woman on the phone was not super friendly. The most disappointing part of this experience though was the Tropical Acai Bowl that I got. I don't know if I've ever been let down by an acai bowl, but the acai portion of this bowl was pretty frozen. I felt like I had to use my spoon as an ice pick to get through it. I did enjoy the coconut flakes though. For lunch we ordered the California Chicken Club Wrap, which my husband says was quite plain and "meh". I had the avocado tuna wrap, which was probably the best item from our order. However, both our wraps weren't wrapped tightly enough and kept opening up at the end. Honestly, I really like their menu offerings so I'd try them again if I were in town. But there are definitely things they can be doing to improve.

I had heard much about…read morethis famous bakery, from its sheepherder sandwiches to the pull apart sweet breads, this bakery certainly did not disappoint. Food: When you first walk in, the impression you get with Schats is "Wow". And wowed you shall be because the whole store is absolutely stacked with breads, cookies, savory loaves, twists, cakes, pastries, and baked goods of all shapes, sizes, and flavorful persuasion. I came in prepared however, determined to try a half order each if their beef and turkey sandwiches, and decided to treat myself to some of the sweet baked goods from their extensive sweets section. While I was disappointed by the amount of meat on my sandwiches, I marveled at the flavor and textural cohesion unified in the simple sandwiches. What looks like a basic veggie-mayo-meat quickly becomes a homey culinary experience with the light and fluffy yet hearty sheepherder bread. Where you might expect an overwhelming mouthful of veg (thanks to the substantial sprouts), I'm met with a cohesive bite of delicate fresh flavors that meld together in a delightful sandwich. Safe to say, this is a sandwich sandwich. Not something stacked between bread, but a thoughtful creation that is greater than the sum of its parts. A true sandwich. The complimentary pickle spears and cookie that comes with your sandwich order is a perfect pairing, and I'd highly recommend these sandwiches if youve never tried them! I also got the Apple fritter, grandma cinnamon roll, old fashioned bar, and the apple strudel thing for my desserts to try (not at once). Each had a lovely texture. I disapprove of donuts that don't retain their moisture and texture, but Schats delivers on both marks especially for their old fashioned and Apple fritter donuts which retain a moist fluffy interior with the right amount of crisp. They are also not too heavy, a high mark in my book. The cinnamon roll was delightful with just the right amount of cinnamon and walnuts, the apple strudel thing was mildly disappointing however as the dough was overly dense and difficult to cut/bite into without squeezing out all the filling. Service: Schats staff are friendly, but this is an in and out institution. With the reputation it has, it's no surprise that things are structured to move quickly as there are a constant stream of customers flowing. Even so, staff are happy to answer questions and chat if they have a moment! They made me feel welcome despite being a clear tourist. Ambiance: Schats has a lovely charm to the interior and exterior. It is reminiscent of what I imagine a rustic German/european bakery would look and feel like, and dining at the outdoor seating or perusing the bakeries stacked displays and carts is a wonderfully charming experience. Highly recommend for a fun and lighthearted break that foodies, families, friends will love. Especially as you travel the 395! Overall 5/5 a perfect experience to add onto your 395 itinerary. Definitely do not miss the baked goodies and bread :)

We love to stop at different little coffee spots and were pleasantly surprised with Vibras. They have a large coffee sign outside which is how we knew they serve coffee in addition to fresh juices. They also had a very small selection of muffins on the counter. Iris ( I apologize if I got her name wrong) was very welcoming and took our order as soon as we got in. We ordered a drip coffee an oatmilk latte. She gave us the drip coffee immediately, which was nice. The coffee was rich and very tasty (not bitter or flavored). You should know though they do not have a public restroom, which is somewhat of a draw back when you are serving hot and cold beverages and want to attract travelers. I still gave them five stars for their coffee and service. I think that possible they are more of a juice bar, but we were very happy with the caffeine fix.

It took us so long to get our food that we had to completely change our plans for the day! However the acai bowls are great and so are the teas. They were out of a ton of syrups though when we went as well so I think they need to do a better job of stocking their stuff and manning their area with people to service the customers. We would have come again and again if the place could keep up. Another morning I got a couple juices that were delicious.
