I took the Jeep to the DriveTime-authorized SilverRock repair facility during the first 30 days. Unfortunately, the brakes were not repaired completely or correctly. During that service visit, the mechanic also reported: * Noticeable rust underneath the vehicle * The need for all fluids to be flushed * Concerns regarding overall drivability Now, as a fairly new purchase, the vehicle continues to drive improperly and most recently the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS COME ON. When I attempted to get assistance beyond the warranty process, I was repeatedly told only to take the car back to the same repair shop, with no direct involvement from DriveTime as the dealer. For a vehicle financed directly through DriveTime, I expected a safe and reliable car. Instead, new mechanical issues keep appearing right after purchase. This has been a very concerning experience so far.

However, my experience since bringing the vehicle in for service has been extremely frustrating due to poor communication and delays. I brought my vehicle in for a scheduled service appointment on May 23 and waited about 45 minutes before being helped. I also requested a loaner vehicle but was initially denied and told I would receive a call back from management, which I never received. Over the following week, I made multiple attempts to get updates with little to no response. Eventually, I was informed my vehicle had been transferred to another service location, where it still had not been fully diagnosed days later. Throughout this process, communication has been inconsistent, and I have been without my vehicle for over a week with no clear timeline for repair or resolution. In addition, I have not received important paperwork needed to register my vehicle, despite multiple follow-ups, and I am still waiting on resolution regarding financing details provided at the time of purchase. Overall, the lack of communication, delays in service, and lack of accountability have made this a very frustrating experience. Upon signing for the vehicle they assumed me multiple times that the truck was in great condition. However less than 30 days later, i already need a new transmission. When I brought it to their owners attention, they wanted to charge me another 2k for a new transmission and refused to pay for the part and stand behind their product because they sell them "as is". Unless you're wanting a Lemon, I would find ANYWHERE else to purchase a vehicle.
