Food was great service a little slow on a non busy day. But overall great place. So take the family and eat some good food!!!

Solid, tasty breakfast. I ordered something very standard (the "easy egg" two egg breakfast with fruit cup and toast) and it was very good, not bland at all. I actually like that they have a sign on the table saying they bring out the toast one slice at a time to reduce waste, but ask if you want your second piece. I only wanted one piece so it was good not to have the temptation to eat the second piece I didn't need. I did not however care for the iced coffee at all. It tasted like watered down standard coffee. The more fancy breakfasts my family ordered looked very good as well. Service wasn't bad, but they might have needed a little more staff for them since it was a little slow. (Took about 10 minutes to get my credit card back after I submitted it to pay my bill). All in all though a nice tasty place to have breakfast with reasonable prices. read more

Food was so good!! I love a simple, not convoluted menu. The waitress work so hard and fast, but never lost their sense of kindness and service with a smile. I even felt comfortable to bring my girls and not worry they would bug anyone. Downside: no Koala baby changing station Upside : meticulously clean bathroom. read more

We're giving it a low four only because the service was slow and I only received one glass of iced coffee even though my glass was empty and set out for the waitress to see. My husband received refills but I did not which is extremely poor form. The decor was great, very cute and bright country chic. The place is extremely clean you could eat off the floor. The cafe stayed busy while we were there. This could be a local gem. The food was delicious and plentiful bring your eating pants! The portions are huge you could split it with a friend. We had the chicken fried steak and eggs with country fries. The gravy was handmade and delicious and I'm a gravy snob having grown up in the ozarks where gravy is a food group. The country potatoes had the perfect seasoning and zing to them with a hint of jalapeño. The country fried steak was so tender it could be cut with a fork. The two men working the grill know how to cook. We'll return to try the lunch menu. read more

This is by far my favorite breakfast place in the Antelope Valley. I've had their omelets, their biscuits and gravy, their breakfast burritos, and two of their eggs benedict, and have not been disappointed by a single item. The coffee is pretty good as well, as far as diner coffee goes. Their staff is really friendly, at the atmosphere is quite homey. Ordered a French toast breakfast and there was literally NO batter on the French toast just tasted like slightly sweet toast. I've never seen French toast made w/o it. The eggs were alright and the bacon was cooked good. I would like to give it another try maybe with something else on the menu but it's kind of scary because I don't want to end up wasting money a second time. Back in the olden days when we could eat in restaurants you would have noticed the cute decor with a cozy small town feel. As for the food So far everything I've had is bomb! Burgers are juicy and huge! Blt is amazing and they don't skimp on the bacon. As for breakfast, pancakes are fluffy you don't even need syrup! The Quartz hill burrito taste like something you'd make at home not dripping in grease, it's super filling, it could easily be shared. French toast is cinnamony and fluffy. Really cute inside. We were 2 couples on a Sunday morning and scored the last booth! I was so happy to see a Monte Cristo on the menu. It was perfectly delicious ! Just experienced the worst customer service ever in my life!!!! The server that brought the menus just asked what we wanted to drink and brought the drinks to our table, not even care to mention if she or anyone else would be back to take our order. Not once in the 30 minutes that we waited did any of the 3 servers cared to come to our table and asked if we where ready to placed our order or just to see if we needed anything!!! I want to say 5 parties came after us( and I'm talking about 1-2 people) they where helped and placed orders before us. I had to asked the server that had brought the drinks to us that we where ready to placed our order and her response was "that a server was going to come and take our order." And it still took another 5 minutes for a server to make her way over and she stopped at the table before us to ask for her to placed her order. kindly the lady heard me that I had expressed we where ready and directed the server to us first. Our order was taken and not once did she care to apologize for the waiting time or anything like that. We still waited another 30 minutes and still no food or just anyone coming by our table to check in!!! We just had it at that time and my husband said to one of the server "excuse me we are leaving" and no one even care of why we would just get up and leave!!! This placed has horrible service!!! Picked up breakfast yesterday for the first time, ordering process was easy, employees were nice. Got to my car to eat it and thats when it went down hill. There was no silverware in the bag, so it had to wait till i got home. Was cold by the time we got to eat it. I ordered a monte cristo, that definitely shouldn't be called a monte cristo. It had 3 layers of eggs, which shouldn't even be on that sandwich, no cheese which it was supposed to have, and just wasn't a traditional monte cristo, the potatoes had no seasoning and was very bland. My other order was the mardi gras benedict, there was very little cajun seasoning to this, the shrimp was dry and over cooked, same problem with the potatoes, the only saving grace was that the biscuit and sausage were very good. Overall would not try this place again, $29 for two breakfasts with no drinks is way to high for food we threw away. read more

We absolutely LOVE this place. It's owned by the cutest little family. The portions are HUGE, so while the prices might be a *little* on the higher side, you need to understand that these entrées are enough for 2 people (making them cheaper than other breakfast joints). Highly recommend the Easy Quartz Hill Omelet, the corned beef hash, and the pancakes. But really, you can't go wrong at this restaurant. It's all delish. read more

my service was absolutely unacceptable. I called to place a pick up order, the employee took my order then told me to call back because she could not hear me properly. I called back, there was no answer. when i finally got someone on the phone, they left me on the line while i heard them discuss deleting my order, i don't think this was intentional, but then they lied about it once they spoke to me again. claiming that they simply couldn't find it, and at this point I had enough promptly telling them i'm going elsewhere and hanging up. do not go here. their customer service is absolutely trash. super upsetting. read more

Food was terrific!! We had the Classic Cheeseburger and the tuna melt, both were amazing. Place was clean and we were immediately greeted. Why 4 stars you ask? Our waitress took our order, brought the meals and immediately walked away before we had the chance to request ketchup (no worries we grabbed it from another table). The place was not crowded but, she did not stop by to check on us until she dropped off the bill. I came here while I was exploring the area since I just moved here. I did find it hard to find parking, but you can also park at the parking lot beside this little strip mall and walk over. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a kid's chocolate pancake for my daughter. The food was good and my sandwich was huge. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the waitress took a while to take our order even though we were just sitting there for a while.
