Words of advice - Do NOT hire this company!!! The employees show up late, aren't careful with your belongings, do not clean your house thoroughly and quote a higher price after arriving. As if that's not enough, the company itself doesn't live up to it's the promise of "Complete Client Satisfaction"! The cleaning team: 1) Failed to completely clean the house: debris remained on the floor in the living room, bedroom, and kitchen 2) Items were broken: the front screen door, an outlet in the kitchen, and the arm of a lamp 3) A water puddle was left of the dining room table, so I'm left with a watermark 4) Arrived late and it would appear left shortly after I did (assumption based on cleaning yet to be done and the uncleaned state of those portions of the house upon return) 5) Took advantage of my desperate situation to have the cleaning performed and jacked the price up by $100 When I contacted the manager/owner: 1) I was told I should have checked everything before the team left and there was nothing that could have been done at that point - despite all parties fully aware it was impossible for me to be there given my husband's early discharge 2) The cleaners claimed not to have broken anything but were willing to pay me $50 for the broken items 3) That she (the owner/manager) would not take any financial responsibility for the damages, or contribute anything to repair/replacement costs of these items 4) Offered me a discount on my next cleaning service - as if I'd EVER hire them again! So how does any of this happen when on their own website they claim to: 1) Provide "complete client satisfaction" 2) Are "100% responsible for your complete satisfaction" 3) Are focuses on "quality and customer satisfaction" I am clearly NOT satisfied at all, nor were they willing to do anything to ensure that I was! We've been working with Angelica's for a few months now and they've consistently done a great job. We have a big dog who likes to leave a mess so I look forward to our regular cleaning visits. I'm a little particular about having things clean and organized, and have had a hard time finding a service that was as thorough and reasonably priced as Angelica's. We have the same people that come in every time and we're really happy with their work. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. OWNER IS DOWNRIGHT RUDE AND EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE VIA TEXT (as seen in images) I contacted the owner as our original cleaners were booked. She quoted me $250 for move out cleaning services plus a $120 quote for deep cleaning. Fine (as this was part of our original agreement). Last minute, she decides to hike up the price for carpet cleaning, telling us that the carpet was extremely dirty, accused me of lying saying that I had mentioned that the carpet was clean! In no where did I mention the carpet was clean. Hence why we are requesting move out services, Einstein! We did not request any special carpet stain removal as the deceased elderly tenant whose place we were helping to clear out did not have much dirt. The owner of the company made it sound like a frat boy had been thriving at this residence. What's worse is that after I had expressed concern about the last minute price hike, she persistently began to harass me via text. I asked her to stop harassing me and her answer to that was "as soon as you do". See screenshots posted. When asked if this was how she treated her customers she replied with "I do, when clients are nice to me". Jesus Christ. This woman clearly has anger management issues, no sense of customer service skills as seen by our text thread, and is just downright hostile for a business owner. Angelica replied to my messages same-day and worked with me to schedule a time even though I needed the service the very next day. One thing to note: I was able to be very flexible with the time, which was very helpful because the cleaning team was running late. Again, I had no problem considering Angelica squeezed me into a busy day for them. 2. The cleaning crew--Vania and Gilberto (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly)--were amazing! I am so fastidious about the way I clean that many cleaning services don't live up to my standards. I was very pleasantly surprised that they cleaned EVERY nook and cranny. Example: I helped by removing some of the things from furniture surfaces so they would make sure to clean under things, not simply around, but I didn't clear the bookshelves. That seemed like too much. It didn't matter, though, because they did it for me. And I have so many books! 3. They made sure to check in with me throughout the cleaning to ensure they were meeting the expectations. 4. At the end, they asked me if there was anything they missed because they didn't want to leave if I was unsatisfied. 5. They were super efficient. They cleaned 3 rooms in only a couple of hours including the entire inside of the refrigerator, the oven, and the windows. I'd been with Lotus Cleaning for years when I lived in a 2br apartment in Oakland, but needed a change once we moved to a 3-story house in Alameda. Angelica was a blind-fire from Yelp and I couldn't be happier with the results. Fair rates (actually 20% cheaper than what Lotus quoted me for the same job), flexible scheduling, and very quick to respond to requests like loading the dishwasher or a certain way or help locating a toy that got put away in a different closet. I also like that they change bedsheets upon request - that's one of my most-loathed chores. Very respectful of COVID precautions. I was moving out of my old apartment and needed to do a move-out cleaning. I contacted this cleaning service and was delighted by Angelica's quick response, quickness to provide a mostly accurate quote, and a quick/convenient way to pay through Venmo. The cleaning service itself was quite great! When I came back to inspect the work, I pointed out that some of the cabinets and drawers still had some dust in them, to which one of the cleaners immediately responded with an apology for and cleaned it. This reveal allowed Angelica and her genius staff, to give us a realistic assessment of the cost and the necessary time. The two members of Angelica's staff, Christiane and Alice came on time and prepared. They treated the unit with the respect that a place that bore the full decade of this family's history commanded.  The walls, floors, ceilings and problem areas like the kitchen and bath were cleaned over a 6 hour period. Christiane and Alice worked hard to ensure that another family could enter and begin to create their own memories of birthdays, family dinners, and precious moments. We paid $550 for this labor-intensive, extra deep cleaning on this 1,100 square foot space and were not disappointed. Anywhere else, it would have cost $750 or more. Angelica's cleaning service just cleaned my house for the first time this week. I needed to find someone who could do the job last minute and they were able to accommodate. The two woman who cleaned the house did an amazing job and asked me to look over everything before they left. I'm picky and did not find even one thing to ask them to go back over or do. I am soooo happy with the work that Stephanie and the other lady with her did on my apartment. I don't know why I didn't start this a long time ago. I'm not sure what the typical price is for home cleaning service, but i feel like the price is fair. Angelica was so nice and was helpful when i called her to ask questions or to get info. I like how i'm able to communicate via text with Angelica directly and she responds pretty fast. It can be uncomfortable allowing people into your home that you do not know and to not be there while they are, which I was kind of nervous about BUT upon meeting Stephanie, I didn't have any worries which was a huge relief. I also like that they're able to accommodate requests like laundry services for apartements that have an on-site facility. I absolutely hate doing laundry and the whole purpose for me getting home cleaning services was 98% because of laundry. It took about 2 hours for them to finish, which really isn't a factor to me because I was at work, but just in case anyone is wondering. I'm glad that I went with Angelica's cleaning service. Just finished dealing with Angelica and her team! Long story short, she is charging me the rate for a new construction cleaning($750 for 2200 sqft house, two people 6.5 hours, which translates to $58 per person per hour) but "finished" the house with many locations not cleaned. When questioned, she immediately jumped at me and saying she would call the police. I then told her I would pay her the full amount and just asked her to leave my house. I have had the cleaning services by Angelica's team for about 2 months now. They are reliable and always do a wonderful job. I appreciate their flexibility when it comes to providing services on the weekends for the short-term rentals I have. They are one of the few companies that are willing to work on Sundays. That's a big plus for me. I also like the fact that their cleaning crew always take off their shoes or bring clean flip flops when entering the apartments, which shows great respect for helping to keep the properties clean. Angelica's team of Lais and Marcele is just stellar! They are cheerful and pleasant to be around. They arrive on time, quietly and efficiently get the house sparkling clean - not just surface clean. They ask good questions, do lots of extra little touches to make everything look nice and take direction well. They don't crash and bang while they are cleaning, they aren't on the phone and they don't rush just to get onto the next house. Pretty disappointed with their service. They quoted me 2 people for 3 hours at $350 for a one bedroom and this didn't even include the living room or bedroom. We settled on $220 for just the kitchen and bathroom, however they didn't really finish the job and weren't there 3 hours. It was a dirty job, but that's a lot of money. Which I gladly paid, only to find a lot of what I expected to be taken care of was not. No kitchen floor, dishes need to be re-washed, no dusting, mirrors... All left for me. Not a fan. read more
