But I have to give a shout out to Alejandra and Claudia who cleaned my place on Friday-- they took a drawer that was so stuffed full of plastic bags I could never get it to close, and organized it so that it was neat and the drawer was able to close again! Honestly have no idea if their cleaning work was good because they showed up 5 hours early without confirming that the time could work. I don't mind if a team makes an assumption based on details in a conversation but there was zero acknowledgement of the change and only a yelp message the night previous to confirm it. No calls, texts, or emails after providing all my contact info. Instead. They sent their team to my door at 8AM without confirming - just wasting everyone's time. I get changes can happen and that's fine if properly communicated. I already found another cleaning service who handled my concerns clearly and timely while also being sure to actually confirm the time of appointment in multiple ways. I do not recommend this team purely based on their coordination, I'm sure their cleaning capabilities are fine but you better be over communicating with them to get the right work done. Basically didn't touch the floors in an empty house, and since I didn't tell them this within 24 hours decided the floors had somehow gotten dirty in the meantime. Also didn't do basic dusting, which I could have done myself if I realized $300 wasn't going to get it done. They were on time, so there was that. I just am genuinely not sure what they actually did while they were there. I won't say I won't use them again, since the choices on Yelp around here seem to be pretty slim, but you can see for yourself what the floors looked like when they were "done". read more

She threw herself into her work and within a decade she owned property, never asking for our assistance. And our home was pristine. An inspiration. She now has moved on from cleaning and with her as a barometer, this company falls embarrassingly short. Unfortunately I had a very poor experience with total clean, from top to bottom. They responded promptly to my messages and sent cleaners out the next day. We had discussed a 75 minute clean, where two people would come to my apt, clean the bathroom, floors and walls to prepare me for move out. I agreed to pay an amount for that amount of time. The next day, my roommate is at the house when they get there, and when they leave, hands them cash and they tell him that in cleaning they ruined the toilet seat. He leaves, having to do something else. The next day, I get an invoice claiming I owed more than they I agreed to and that I hadn't paid. When I confront them about this, they claim the cleaners had been there for 90 minutes, which is simply not true. They agreed to settle on the original price. I then go to the apt to take one last look and it has absolutely not been cleaned. There are areas of the floor where there is clearly dirt. There are cobwebs in corners and scuffs on the walls so they obviously didn't touch the walls and the bathroom is covered in the residue from their cleaning products. The knobs of the shower hadn't even been touched. I ended up having to clean all of the things they said they would and deal with all of this. Bad experience read more
