This little spot, I only heard of while talking about food at work. So naturally, I went to check it out the same day. I. Love. Thai!!! Everything taste amazing. I've had Thai in a few different cities and I have to say this is probably one of my favorites. All of the flavors go well with each other. The drinks are another tasty treat. "Thai Tea" and the "Thai Lime Tea" are super delicious. Everything was exactly as ordered, I didn't get any utensils though, so snacking in the car was a total no go. I am so glad I stumbled across this place. I ordered the green curry at spice level 4 with pork - I love spicy so this had nice heat to it, but wasn't as spicy as some I have had in other places. The flavor was outstanding. Excited to try the Mussaman curry the next time. I also ordered the Pad See Eu at spice level 4 with shrimp. Wonderful flavor and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Will try the drunken noodle the next time. Finally a place that I can confidently recommend for authentic, fresh Thai food in Bismarck. Not a food truck fan? Oh, don't judge a book by its cover as this truck is going to challenge your tastebuds. When I say fresh I'm saying Sysco doesn't stop at the curb and drop off a shipment of frozen food. I forgot to mention the Yelp discount before paying, but they threw in an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls were phenomenal. Cabbage and clear noodles wrapped and fried to crispy perfection. First, let me preface that we went at 5:30 on a Sat night. The restaurant was packed. A grumpy counter worker took our order. Our appetizer, spring rolls, came out last and without the sauce. The drunken noodles and pad Thai were good. The spring rolls were greasy. The Thai tea with bobas was very bland. The cafe seating area is tiny and we felt fortunate to find a spot to sit. I finally stopped by for lunch yesterday and came away thinking it wasn't half bad. Certainly not a dining experience, nor close to the best Thai I have ever had. Those two things, combined with the high prices will keep me away in the future. Pros: 1. The spring rolls were fried to perfection and there are 4 medium-sized pieces. 2. The pad kee mao (drunken noodles) were cooked very well. Just a hair past al dente which I think is perfect for Asian cuisine. Cons: 1. The spring rolls were full of vermicelli and a bit of lettuce with a thin slice of shiitake mushroom in one end. They also weren't drained at all and I ended up with a lap full of oil. 2. The price was much too high for what I got. Portions were fine but $22 for a food truck lunch that was, at best, average was abut $10 too high. 3. The drunken noodles were tasty but there was absolutely no heat at all, nor did I taste any fish sauce or fresh ginger. In fact the only traditional flavor was from theThai basil. Other than that it was just a hearty chicken noodle hot dish. Bismarck doesn't have many interesting or true ethic restaurants so I was hoping this may be a gem in a trailer, but it isn't. read more

Cute atmosphere and super friendly service. I really enjoyed the Tom Kai Gai soup as my friends had suggested I couldn't pass it up! The portions were very generous, my friend had the pineapple fried rice with beef and I ordered the Panang curry via recommendation from the helpful person taking the orders at the front. I love curry and enjoyed the flavor of both of these dishes. The spice was just right. However, I literally had to pick out the chicken out of both dishes it was so atrocious. Definitely boiled, so dry it was nearly gray. Not seasoned at all, I couldn't even choke the chicken down. I ate outside and when I was done the man working the counter came outside just to ask how the food was. So nice. He actually cared and that goes a long way. Delicious! This is the Thai restaurant you should be eating at when you are in Bismarck. I have eaten Thai food all over the world, and this is authentic Thai food with immense flavor. Tom Kha Gai Soup was bursting with flavors, especially with the expected flavors of lemon grass and coconut milk- Creamy, spicy, sour deliciousness! Some of the best Tom Kha Gai soup I have had in a while! Spiciness was right on point. Paneer Curry was also superb, with large portions. We chose the chicken over the beef, but the I'm sure the beef was just as good. Great symphony of flavors. They were out of ribs, so we tried the Pork Jerky appetizer. It was also flavorful, with a decent amount of pork strips, marinated and served with a spicy chili sauce. The appetizer prices were fair, but the entree prices may have been a little high.......hey, I will gladly pay them to finally have great Thai food in Bismarck! I haven't written a yelp review in a long time, but finding this gem in Bismarck prompted me to warm up my typing fingers.
