He previously joined TGA camps at Bixby, but didn't get the 1-on-1 instruction he was really needing. I love Hori's approach to youth swings. They worked on mechanics having nothing to do with a club in his band to make him more relaxed. We've been trying to replicate the same exercise at home and he's energized us and compelled us to spend more time as a family at the driving range. Hori is patient, kind, direct, and motivating. He doesn't coddle but speaks straight and I love that.

Before I met him I was slicing all my drives. Nothing I tried to do to fix the swing felt right. In a 30 minute lesson he corrected it and I've never felt better hitting a driver or any of my woods or hybrids. In our second lesson, we worked on my irons, as I am very inconsistent with them. Once again, I've never hit my irons better. As golf has become so popular these past few months, I've seen so many instructors charge exorbitant money for 30/60 minute lessons. However, Gene is very fairly priced and I will be going back to him for sure, especially when I need a tune up. I'd recommend Gene for all level of golfer, from beginner to advanced. Our friend broke a club here and the policy at the time was that the rentee had to pay for the price of a brand new club even though they were renting a used club. after voicing my opinion, they decided to change the policy and agreed that people who break a rental club should just pay for the value of a used golf club. I've never seen a business go above and beyond and meet customers in the middle ground like that so it really meant a lot to me. We came back again in March again and service was significantly better. They were very attentive and were very helpful with showing us how to work the machines. There are a lot of different play modes but putting is one of my faves because I suck at swinging. The private rooms are really cool's because you can sing & swing at the same time!! The best of both worlds if u have friends that don't really golf but wanna hang c: Food here is bomb!! lowkey better than a lot of pocha spots. The kimchi pasta and rose dukbokki are so tasty and the Korean fried chicken is so fire. The honey garlic was my fave flavor for the friend chicken. Parking here is also super easy. Glenn even spent some extra time giving me a few basic tips on how to hold the club and pointed me toward a local coach for lessons. The conditions are well kept for a public course as there are several junior tournaments that are played here, I highly recommend this course and it's a very easy walk as well! Range I believe has trackman installed on some bays and while they have mats it is still great to see some other feedback through the trackman.
