So I used to go to this place regularly when they were called 'talk of the town'! The owner was wonderful, the service was great. The food was excellent! Now obviously the owner have changed & some how the quality of the food got bad. When I went there it was lunch time & there were only 1 person was eating ! I went there after a long time thinking to give this place one more chance . But I was little disappointed! It's a Bangladeshi owned halal chaineese restaurant. So I feel bad that the food quality wasn't that good! When I was seating down I asked for some cold water. The server went inside and came back & said sorry we don't have it at this moment! I was thinking in my head what was that ! Didn't realize the fact that you actually have to buy a bottle of water . Some of the places in Jackson heights doing this right now where they don't serve water anymore. You actually have to buy bottled water, and I really don't like this idea. It's not like businesses is going down in that area , in fact it's always packed . Any of the restaurants you visit in Jackson heights 80% of the time they are packed! So then I ordered a mango lassi & it was ok. I checked out the menu & decided to try out there Appetizers platter , I post a pic of what it says on it & what I got . It's not like u gotta choose from it , it supposed to come with it. My platter didn't have fried shrimp! I didn't say nothing ! Liked the pakoras, lollipops were not cooked well inside , dumplings were ok . Then I got the Hookah Noddles , it's was good . I was like finally something tastes good ! I do like the fact that they don't push you to pay tip , because I just don't trust the restaurant owners to actually give the tips to there servers ! So I can give it actually to the server. For iftar, every table gets a plate of fruit: dates, apple, & cantaloupe. The apple slices are too oxidated for me. Either they should be cut right before iftar or another fruit should be provided. They also give lemonade which is good but too sweet for me. We got chicken lollipops which were decent for the most part. A few of the pieces looked over cooked. As for the Tom yum soup, it didn't taste like Tom yum at all. It was just spicy. Needless to say, none of us liked it. Waste of $. The grilled chicken burger wuda been way better if not for the sweet mayo. The grilled chicken itself was good. The chicken 65 is great, although a bit spicy. I went here with my aunt and uncle who were craving halal Chinese fusion food and I wanted to try something different from Sagar in Jackson Heights. I tried Eatzy Chinese tonight and our experience was ah-mazing!! Pros - the lollipop chicken was flavorful and different from any other halal Chinese spot over ever went to. I would say it is better than Sagar Chinese and tangra fusion! 5/5 I tried their peri peri chicken grilled and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. Check out the pictures for yourself! I had my friends drooling over my videos haha. Service - fast paced and received on time. Super delighted! We also tried their Szechuan chicken and dragon chicken, which was made perfectly for us. I had to ask specially for it. Price for this is okay. 6 for $6 (1 order of lollipop chicken is 6 pieces). I travelled about two and half hour just to try out their food. Chinese food in New York doesn't get better than this. If you love desi style Chinese food, then you must visit this place. FOOD: Wowza, this really is Chinese food at its finest. Their Food was over the top! All the staples you would expect, but BETTER! I ordered their authentic Beef sizzler Marinated shredded beef tossed in a high temperature Chinese wok with onions, bell peppers, herbs, spices and Indo-Chinese sauces. Served with basmati rice. The Portions were huge. I also had their Mango Lassi, Non-Alcoholic Pina Colada and Barbican Halal Beer in Peach Flavour, they import the beers all the way from UAE!!! Everything I had was luscious. All were served hot straight from the kitchen, with plenty of food remaining to take home. The food was Cooked perfectly with a ton of flavour. I loved their presentation of food. All were presented beautifully, and tastes were outstanding. They have terrific desi Chinese food choices! This restaurant is a must stop if you are travelling to Queens, NY. AMBIANCE: Ambiance was good as well. The restaurant looked nice and seating is perfect. It was very clean. This place is a perfect choice for family gatherings and casual hangout with friends. If you want to feel like you're dining in a different country, this is the place to go. I ordered both shakes (horrendous- do not order the shakes), hot and sour chicken soup, chicken lollipops, chicken sizzler, and dragon beef. I honestly did not expect good food after those shakes, but was glad to be proven wrong. The chicken lollipops and soup were great. The chicken sizzler was really good also and came with fries. The dragon beef was incredible. During that meal, it was just me and that dragon beef. I forgot all about the annoying, loud people at other tables and I didnt even turn around to tell the old man who sneezed loud enough for everyone in the building to hear to piss off. I came here with my family on 2/21 KNOWING that this place has had mixed reviews in the passed. At the end of the meal, I was really confused why this place has been rated poorly. Firstly, the customer service is superb. The wait staff is very respectful. We ordered the chicken lollipop and chicken 65 for appetizer and entrees were Chicken fried rice, schezwan fried rice, chicken manchurian and chicken chilli. I'm not sure why people were reporting this place has no flavor because it's quite the opposite. The chicken manchurian was very flavorful as well as the chicken 65. The chicken lollipop, albeit small, was still worth the order. To top it all off, the place is extremely affordable. And since I'm sure the desi community is comparing this place to its competitor to Sagar, let's do the comparison here. I've had great food at Sagar but I can't say I sacrificed my taste buds or experience by coming here. I have Indo Chinese food before. I am really but none of the dishes I ordered through Uber eats, didn't stand up to my expectations. All the dishes were same color and literally was cooked using the same sauce. I couldn't differentiate between sweet and sour fish, Szechuan chicken and dragon beef. Gave this place a try because I typically go to Sagar on the next block. Very nice staff but food was not great. Sesame chicken tasted like it was in ketchup sauce. The fried rice and chow mein was basic. We also got the lollipop chicken - very small portion* and it tasted fine. The only thing good here was the orange sauce. I love the range of food available on their menu. We had peri peri chicken and yummy indo Chinese dishes. The schezuan noodles and lollipop chicken were really good and flavorful. Everything was fresh too! I just wish they paid closer attention to our order -- we got a regular peri peri chicken sandwich even though we ordered a grilled one and all our drinks were Pepsi, when we asked for Diet Cokes. You HAVE to get the chicken lollipop, it was really well made and the sauce was tasty too. The peri peri chicken was a beautiful mix of sweet and spicy. Horrible food. Highly disappointed! Corn soup was literally a can of corn from ctown boiled with water. The mango lassi had no taste. The shrimp fried rice had absolutely no flavor, completely bland and tasted old! The chili shrimp was awful, that is not how you cook chili shrimp, it was more like shrimp curry. Lollipop chicken was semi decent. The worse of it all, husband and I had stomach pain for days after eating their food! Honestly I don't know what I was thinking trying something new when Sagar Chinese has excellent food compared to this place. Horrible service and food! Drove 1 hour 30 minutes to get to this place and was extremely disappointed!! We had a reservation and when we arrived at the restaurant we waited 15 minutes before we OURSELVES approached a waiter to be seated. After that they serviced water in dirty glasses, when I complained they gave us empty glasses and only filled it when we asked them. Very slow service, had to wait a long time for each dish to arrive and on top of that the dishes were missing sides so had to consistently remind them of the exact things we ordered. Total wait time for food was 1 hour!!! Their food literally tasted like soya sauce and hot sauce, no real flavor to food at all!! Very small and suffocating environment. This new Chinese spot is great! I already went 2 times. We tried 3 chicken dishes (chili chicken,Szechuan, and dragon) szechuan chicken chow mein (spicy). Lollipop chicken was my favorite! It's slightly spicy, crunchy and actually has meat compared to other places where they just stuff fat inside. We also ordered chicken pakoras. Very delicious! Mango lassi and pina colada was good. It was my first time trying peri peri chicken, mango nebula flavor. It took some time because I chose grilled instead of fried. It had a good flavor, soft, not too spicy and a tasty sauce in the side with lime. I really enjoyed this new item. We also got free halal beer from Dubai! I really wanted to like this place but honestly the food was not good at all. None of it tasted like Chinese food or even Asian fusion. The food is way overpriced for what it is.
