We never received a call, so I called on February 28, the day we planned to pick them up. I was then told the job wasn't finished because of the engraving inside my partner's ring--even though he had clearly said from the beginning that it was fine if the engraving disappeared during resizing. After we repeated that it was fine, we were suddenly told to come in within a few hours. The other ring was mine, and it still didn't fit properly. That day, my partner asked for a very small adjustment--between a size 5 and 5.5 (around 5.25)--because 5.5 was loose and 5 was too tight. The tall female staff member said finger size can change with the weather. I understand that, but I was genuinely worried it could slip off when washing my hands. She told us to come back on Wednesday. When I returned on Wednesday, it honestly didn't feel resized. When I asked about it, the male staff member sighed and told me to "wear it for a week and come back if it still feels loose." He also said he could resize it down by a quarter size and wouldn't charge me for it. That left me even more confused and frustrated--if it could be adjusted that quickly, I don't understand why I was told to wait until Wednesday in the first place. Overall, the communication was poor and the service felt dismissive.

While the gentleman we worked with was friendly, I did have to remove one star because there were two other men here who were just brusque and on the verge of rudeness. Not a good feeling dealing with people like this. The shop itself is cool with all sort of different clocks. I have no idea about pricing, but one of the clocks I fell in love with was way out of my price range at $8000. But the repair we had done wasn't too badly priced at $500 for all the work they did.

I think Kohl's appeals more to the middle aged and parents with children. This location is probably 75% clothing. Women's, men's, and children's. Lots of brand names - I especially notice a lot of Nike, Adidas, and Levi's. In the back is a good selection of bedding, linens, and some home decor items. As you move into the far corner, there's a huge toy section. Alongside that, a sizable rack of greeting cards and gift wrap. There's even a tiny electronics section - I've never seen that before at one of these stores. If you know how these stores work, you expect to find good stuff well discounted. That's not always the case though, in my opinion. It surprises me, but they do a lot of business here. I've also found some sweet finds here a time or two. It makes a great last minute gift shopping stop where you may find something for everyone.

Today my kids were with me, and they were trying out all the chairs and exploring. This is normal. Twice a week, and some of the staff even know the kids by name. Today, a staff member there came over and told me "Are these your girls?" To which I responded "Yes" to which he then said "I'm not watching your damn kids." This was the last straw. I'm done.
