I can seriously spend a few hours in here, this store has everything to fill your home, except furniture and full sized kitchen appliances. Came across this wonderful store while in the area. Glad I discovered this place. If you are a fan of any cute Japanese products, this is the place to be. There is a parking lot behind the store, which is nice, and it is shaded. There are two entrances to the store, one in the front (street side), and one from the parking structure, which is perfect. I am very impressed with the selections here. They got everything. They have toys, figurines, drinks, snacks, personal items, kitchen wares, ice creams, make-ups items, and they even have an area dedicated to the claw machines. The store is bright and clean. You are free to roam around and browse all you like. Staffs do not bother you, unless you have questions. I really enjoyed the experience while I was here with my family. LONG OVERDUE REVIEW. I've gone here multiple times and I can always guarantee that I can never NOT leave without getting something. It's kinda dumb and I'm surprised that I haven't done it yet, but if you reload their "gift card" you can get a discount of a couple dollars for a purchase. There are times where I've gone here and spent upwards around $100. HAHAHA. Take this from an otaku, frequent anime con goer and someone who loves kawaii mascot characters, Japanese snacks, and beauty goods, Ebisu Life has the MOST variety of any Japanese cosmetics shop/market/hobby shop that I've gone to. The fact that each time I go there's always some update in the sale items and their stock is constantly updated blows my mind and makes it super exciting to go to. The shop has the most variety of Sanrio goods that are NOT at Japan LA or a Sanrio shop and hands down the MOST official Chiikawa goods (socks, plushies, keychains, blind box snacks etc.). There's also Kirby, Poke'mon, Rilakkuma, Sumikko Gurashi, and much more. Items are not limited to the wide variety of plushies, blind boxes, and keychains that they have but also beauty collaboration products, bath bombs with figurines inside (they have a small wall of these which I have not seen anywhere else), snacks, gifts, and again, HANDS DOWN the most variety of stationary and kitchenware (chopsticks, glasses, bowls, dishes, water bottles, cups, etc.). Great place to get a fast gift for a Sanrio girlie in your life (though just know it is skewed more towards the more popular characters, Kuromi, Pompompurin, Cinnamaroll, etc., but there were a couple Hangyodon and Keroppi goods). For beauty goods, I didn't even know that &honey (shampoo and conditioner brand) and Propolinse (really good mouth wash brand) even came in those varieties. I even found a limited Hawaiian edition of the Calbee granola cereal that I've never seen elsewhere? I even found more hair care products and brands that I've never seen even at Shibuyala or Takashima which is saying something. I even got myself Sanrio temporary chalk hair color and hair mascara? Cute packaging and functionality? Got to love it. I've found the mayo instant yakisoba that I haven't seen in years at Tokyo Central/Nijiya/Mitsuwa and found a mentaiko version of it as well as Chiikawa curry, and the Chili Tomato and Jumbo Cheese Curry Instant Noodles that I've seen in posts about snacks in Japan, but have never seen in the Japanese grocery stores here. If anything, that has to be a testament about the variety of goods and snacks that Ebisu Life happens. Wish there was one that was a tad closer, but if you were to invite me to Ebisu Life, my answer would be an immediate yes! read more

This store is bright (white, as in stark white lights) & airy with widely spaced aisles. It's the kind of place that makes you go, "awwwww, how adorable!". They carry many items like food & snacks, items for the home (tableware), containers like lunch boxes, soaps, lotions, stationary materials, lots of toys, make up (lip care, hair care ' so much more! First time at Ebisu Life Store and so glad we decided to stop by this new cool store. We found so many cute, neat things and plenty of yummy treats. Plenty of parking spots in the back of the store. The store is nicely lit and spacious. It's very welcoming. Merchandise are well placed in specific departments and areas. There are so many Japanese and Korean lifestyle products to choose from. They are imported from Japan and Korea. You can find everything from drinks, snacks, toys, blind boxes, beauty products, household goods, toys and anime merchandise to name a few. We left the store with three shopping bags full of merchandise. Their specialty is products from Japan, and they do have a lot to choose from. It's located on the ground floor of a large multifamily building and there a lot of covered free parking attached. Inside is not as large as I was expecting, but it does have a lot of great product options. There are multiple aisles of toys, lots of health and beauty products, stationary, snacks, and frozen foods. I was especially glad to see the viral strawberry ice cream in the shape of a strawberry, they are delicious. I have had the mango and peach before many times, but for some reason, I've never seen the strawberry before. They also have a lot of great snack options and the store was clean and quiet during our visit so absolutely no complaints. There's so much variety here that you can really find almost anything you need. I am particularly fond of the refrigerated section as it is convenient to pop in and grab a drink or cold snack. I've gotten some home goods from here as well as stationary. I do think they are better for items like that as well as snacks. I know they have a good selection of toys, gifts and blind boxes too! I think the store is more Japanese centric in terms of items, so keep that in mind. The most amazing store for fun Japanese goodies! I enjoyed myself so much that I went twice in one weekend. They had a decent amount of Japanese food and snack snacks as well as drinks and some frozen items. The best part for me, though was the homeward. There were so many water bottles, plates, and other kitchen ware...all of Sanrio items I had never seen before. The best part was I felt like the price was really fair and it wasn't marked up too much so I was able to get a lot of items. We made a special trip to come here while we were in the area after seeing a tiktok about this place. The location is convenient and they have their own parking garage that the store opens to. They have a great selection of just about anything Japan you can think of, from helo kitty toilet paper, to the famous claw macines, snacks and drinks. I was hoping I'd find some georgia coffee, but sadly they had none. We stocked up on some of our favorite japanese snacks, and were happy on our way home back to San Diego after this. read more

This place is fantastic! I noticed it replaced some weird grocery store. I came here with my kids and brought some other kids along. It's big, nice and clean, and has excellent A/C in the summertime. This is very important to me. The staff is very nice, and I had to walk slowly down every aisle to get the most out of this store. I love the big displays on ramyeon and statues of Doraemon. The products are a mix of Japanese and Chinese origin. A few (very few) are downright bootleg looking, but the majority is high quality imported items. The store is setup cleanly and decorated with lots of large anime statues and walls of figures on display. Everything is bright and clean and well organized. Every aisle is a pleasant surprise. In the back there is also a gatcha and crane claw section which I had to peel myself away from. This location has always been a supermarket and my mom wanted to go check it out after she saw that a new business has taken over the old one. We thought it was going to be another supermarket. It's not! It's a combination of a grocery store, cosmetic and beauty supply, arcade and miscellaneous items. I highly recommend checking this out.
