    Loved my first time at EBW!! Already planning my next visit.

    This past weekend, I decided to try out European Body Works for their sauna. After integrating infrared sauna in my daily routine during my trip to Europe earlier this year, I decided to find one back at home in Knoxville. When I arrived, Stacy at the front desk gave me a tour of the place: the changing rooms, shower, and where the sauna was situated. I was also given a key for a locker of my choosing to put all my belongings in. After changing into the wrap and robe that I was given, I met Stacy again in the front. We went over to the sauna, where the temperature of my choosing was already set and an ice cold water was waiting for me. For a half hour session, it is $15 and you really can't beat this price or find a nicer facility than this one. I can't wait to come back now, and also try some of their other services. Thank you to Stacy for making my first time at EBW so welcoming and special!!

I've worked at a Walgreens in the past. I've never had an experience like the one I just had. I shop every Walgreens the same way. I have a large, empty reusable bag with me and fill it as I shop. Then, I take the bag to the register, check out, and put all my items back in my bag. In the dozens of shopping trips, which have included this same Walgreens, in the past, no employee has ever communicated a problem with me or bothered me during my shopping experience until today. As I was putting I items in my shopping bag, an employee came up to me and asked, "May I help you?" Me: "No, I've found what I'm looking for, thank you." Employee: "And you're putting them in your bag?" Me: "I'm putting them in a shopping bag to take the register. Is that a problem?" Employee: "How do I know you're not just going to walk out without paying?" Me: "Do you have a problem with reusable bags?" Employee: "No, but you need to use a basket or cart first." The employee then proceeded to stand there watching me until I put the items back and went to get a cart. I'm a 36 year old woman and have never had an employee of any store treat me like a child as this employee did. She was condescending and made me feel like I was very unwelcomed. Word of advice if you shop at this particular store, maybe shout "I'm not here to steal! Look, I'm taking a cart!" if you'd like to shop like an adult and mind your own business, as I was trying to do.

This person should be demoted and she shouldn't not be in a position of leadership she has no customer service and she's completely rude. Every visit has involved significant delays because the pharmacy attempts to bill me before processing my insurance, even though my insurance information is already on file. Each time, I have had to wait 20-30 minutes while the issue was corrected. Today's experience was particularly frustrating. After waiting approximately 20 minutes in line, I was told to step aside while they fixed the billing issue. Instead of resolving it efficiently, I was instructed to get back in line and wait another 20 minutes. This resulted in nearly an hour spent picking up a prescription that should have taken only a few minutes. I work in healthcare myself and understand that mistakes happen, but I have never experienced this recurring issue at any other Walgreens location. The staff consistently seem rushed and dismissive, and the overall process is disorganized and inefficient. After a long day at work, spending nearly an hour correcting the same billing error for the third time is extremely frustrating. I hope management addresses both the workflow and customer service concerns at this location.

    I am writing to file an official complaint regarding the conduct of pharmacist Savannah Foster at…read moreyour Walgreens location. The events that occurred have caused a serious interruption in my medical care and placed me in a potentially dangerous situation. On my initial visit, Ms. Foster refused to dispense my prescribed medication because I only had a digital copy of my driver's license. While I expressed frustration, I did not make any threats or use inappropriate language. I then went directly to the Department of Motor Vehicles, obtained a new physical driver's license, and returned to the pharmacy. When I returned with a valid physical ID, Ms. Foster again refused to provide my medication. At that time, I informed her that I would be filing an official complaint with the Board of Pharmacy due to the unreasonable denial. After this interaction, I went to another Walgreens to have the prescription filled. I was informed that Ms. Foster had canceled the prescription entirely, preventing me from filling it at any Walgreens or any other pharmacy. As a result, I now must obtain a completely new prescription from my physician. Unfortunately, my doctor is currently unavailable, and I have now gone two days without critical medication, placing me in a serious and unsafe medical situation. Ms. Foster's actions--refusing to dispense medication even when proper identification was provided, and canceling my prescription without justification--were inappropriate, unprofessional, and have jeopardized my health. I am requesting a full review of this incident and appropriate corrective action.

This location is not my usual Walgreens, but with recent changes in our routines--my new job and my husband's work being nearby--we decided to give this one a try. Unfortunately, I highly do not recommend this pharmacy. I went several days without my anxiety medication because the staff repeatedly told me my prescription was ready when it actually wasn't. After four days of waiting, I finally received the medication--only to find out they gave my husband the wrong dosage. This serious error led me to seek care at a clinic just to manage the consequences. Mistakes like this aren't just inconvenient--they're dangerous. They could cost someone their life. After going inside I spoke to the pharmacist about the issues in drive thru and he stated that they have to keep things moving depending how busy it was. It was not busy at all, I was the only car, 10pm in the evening. They aren't very concerned about accommodating their customers here.
