ECA was called out by my home warranty (Choice) to diagnose and make approve repairs my air conditioning unit. The owner was very responsive with scheduling. They dispatched their news employee to my home whom Moonlights behind their back and is very unclear in his dealings. He diagnose my equipment then shows me what's the issues. He explains that he will be right back with parts to complete the repair. Well he never shows up that day after many calls and informing him of my schedules and where about, I never got a clear answer from him. The next day the Tech pulls into my driveway without informing me and waits in his car. I notice him out front and approaches him. He explains he waiting on his lead (supervisor/Formen). Once they arrive they Recommend that i should get my unit clean which was not covered by my warranty (120). I accepted their offer. The 2 guys disconnect my unit from the top fan and start cleaning. I walk away to return to the tech install the approved repair. My air conditioner was running.2 weeks later the same air conditioner goes down again. This time I request to choose my own Air Conditioning Company to come from my Home Warranty company . They accept my request. I Choose a local company that been in business since 1968 installing and repairing HAVAC systems. Once they arrive they inform and show me the crimped wires and lack luster repair ECA Conducted i was able to take photos and compare them to my original photos i took with ECA. The Company Dicks Air conditioning LLC informed me that there was nothing that they could do to repair the unit because now i would need a new compressor. I informed ECA of the findings of current inspection (a link to Dicks website and work order of my unit.) I also informed the company that i have photos if they needed to see them my claim never implied that ECA was to make repairs or replacement to my unit. The Own D'Aydra call me back, right away she was defensive and explained to me what she didn't appreciate about me 1st. I thought to myself I informed them of the finding of another experience Air conditioner repair company. I listen to D'Aydra explain to why her tech and supervisor wasn't the blame for a sloppy repair. She also informed me that the Supervisor that came out to Qa/Qc the new tech was a Master installer. She also explained her fustration with my request to get another company out. Next she explained that She would have handled me different had I been their customer and not by way of Choice ( she forgot i paid her company 120.00 to clean my unit that wasn't covered in my policy which i think make me a Customer). Before i could explain my experience she informed me of her relationship with my Home Warranty, telling me Choice don't always want them to report a unit replacement and she fear being put at the end of the line for services calls. After she spoke Tried to address her concerns, every time i spoke she would cut me off. She kept telling me that the conversation wasn't going anywhere and never addressed the subpar repair. She never asked to view my Post repair photos. D'Aydra finally got feed up and reply's "What the hell do you want me to do". I explained i would like for her and her company to take accountability or at a bear minimum undated the training of her team. 2 days later her husband (Idris )The Supervisor/Master installer reached out. Requesting to come to my home. I explained to him that wouldn't be a good idea after the conversation i had with the CEO 2 day before and i was due to be on a flight in 4 hours . Once again after trying to come to an understanding he made it clear that he wasn't up for a dialogue by say " I'm not about to go back and forward" He started to mention information about him having insurance and if i want to sue that was up to me. All of this because I went to them 1st about the finding from an experience (1968) replicable company. As an fellow business owner and Civil Engineer I tried to inform them that throughout our correspondence I've heard unprofessionalism, bad safety practices and bad business ethics issues. I give them 1 start for returning my message. We hired Edris to install 2 units and do duct work in hour new home, he came and installed the first unit and they did such a terrible job. Within days we had leaking which damaged our kitchen ceiling and the wood floor. When I contacted him about the issue he came and basically tried to blamed us about the incident which was crazy to me so i decided to get a second opinion from a different contractor who immediately told us the unit wasn't property installed along with the ducts. After that it was time to install the second unit but he decided he did not wanted to follow our contract and he decided to changed the unit to a cheaper brand. He came to do the install and again left a mess in my garage. After that he made up an excuse to not do the work until summer (mind you is was April when he started the work). He completely went MIA on me, not answering calls, texts, or emails. He stole $14,000 from me and till this day 03/11/2020 I haven't been able to get my money back. I had to pay another contractor to fix his mess. I'm getting ready to take him and his business to court and get my money back. This guy is beyond irresponsible and thief, please don't spend a dime in this company because you like me will regret it. read more

Just had my AC repaired and can't say enough about ECA Ductworks!From scheduling to arrival to repair - everything was flawless. They replied quickly, arrived on time, pinpointed the problem, repaired it in record time (while explaining everything as they worked), thoroughly checked additional items, and were priced fair and extremely friendly. This issue had been missed twice by other HVAC companies in the past week and skillfully repaired in less than 30 minutes today by ECA. I can't ask for anything more!! I have used over a dozen HVAC providers in the past 5 years for both heating and cooling repairs for my older home. Very few provided a great customer experience and exceptional technical service. ECA Ductworks scored an A+ in both areas, so without a doubt I will be using them for any other HVAC issues in the future! This is by far the BEST company I have ever dealt with! So honest and very educated on different systems. I have had a lot experiance and dealings with a quite a few different companies. I even had ANOTHER company install a brand new air condition unit at one of my properties, I will not use the name of that company so my review won't be deleted, but they never connected the wires inside! E came out with in 15 minutes of my call and is connecting my brand new unit that should have been done during the install. The other company wanted to charge me to finish the job they were paid for and did it on purpose. If you want an honest, hard working, experienced, and responsive company for a great price, E is the best! I will never allow anyone else to work on my units again, just E! Be carful out there, there are a lot of scammers and some even through home warranty companies. I hope this review helps others before they go thru what I've been thru. This businesses takes advantage of homeowners with bait-and-switch pricing. this company advertises extremely low prices for air duct cleaning only to come to the home, clean half of the air ducts and then ask for hundreds of dollars more to finish the job. i will never recommend this place. Assigned by warranty. Was supposed to call within 24 hours to make appointment and didn't. I called twice and talked to owner who said I would get a call back and never did. The warranty people stepped in and finally I got a call back. Scheduled 7:00-10:00 appointment which they failed to keep. Will not work with again. read more

Great Service. Arrived w/in 4 hr's of my call. Idris replaced a HVAC motor from his truck on the 1st visit. Heat restored and the following day the temp dropped to 8 degrees but my home was 69 degrees and very comfortable! Thanks Idris and team! read more

Horrible service. Said he would help me with my system, called him the day he told me he would check out my system and he completely bails said he couldn't do it. How about tomorrow? I had a great experience with this company. I needed to have my Nest thermostat installed so I called around to get quotes on this type of work. This company was much much less expensive than the others. I decided to give them a try. I did not regret it! Communication was great, they were on time, and the person that came over was incredibly nice and patient. He stuck around after the Nest was installed to make sure that the set up portion (hooking it to wifi/testing heating/cooling) went ok. He could have just left after it as installed but he waited to make sure I was good to go. I had a bunch of random questions about my heating/cooling, too and he was happy to answer them.
