I made an appointment for this past Friday at 1:15. I had a wedding that evening (New Years Eve). When I called for the appointment I told the reception I wanted a messy French roll. Upon arrival the girl was very prompt in getting me in the chair and very sweet. I explained I wanted a messy French roll. She determined with my layers it would not be able to be done. She recommended a bun. So I said OK not realizing she was going to do a sock bun!!!!!! I went up to pay after in the chair approximately 45 minutes and it was $75.00. I was shocked. I have been going to Echelon salon and spa for about 1 year now. Every single experience I have had has been absolutely great. The owner is very kind and will always address any of your needs. I am always offered a variety of cold beverages while I wait for my appointment. They have many beautiful smelling hand sanitizers as well as essential oils diffusing. The atmosphere is calm as well as inviting. I have always been happy with my results as well as all of the very kind staff members. I would absolutely recommend this spa for all of your needs. This is my second time dealing with this company. The first time, I scheduled my husband a massage as part of his push gift and he stated that the pressure with the elbows from the masseuse were a bit uncomfortable and he was wanting to get up and leave within 60 minutes of his 90 minutes massage. This current time, I wanted to give them another chance so I scheduled a facial with them at like 10 pm at night. I was then reminded by my husband that I have to grab mg daughter from school today since he had to work which is unusual. I within 10 minutes attempted to cancel online but they don't offer cancellations or prices online so you have to call. I set an alarm and called them at 10:01 AM, when they open at 10. I called cancelled, everything was fine. Lady didn't say anything about the cancellation fee. I then get an email about a charge of $50. To make a long story longer, I have to dispute the charge with my bank. They require a 48 hr notice and if you make an appointment the day before or hours before and then try to cancel it within minutes, you're going to be charged. I tried to explain I couldn't give 48 hr notice when my appointment was 12 hours before I scheduled it. They have a hard time getting you your money back which is just crazy customer service. read more

Words cannot express how I love this place! I Came in to get my feet fixed by Ashley J. Ashley was nothing but polite, professional, and very informative she helped fixed another salon mistake when they told me I had ingrown in my toes and hands and decided to remove them and charge me for each removal. Ashley J was also friendly and really help to fix my issue and gave me the best pedicure as well. I so enjoyed the experience I also looked into some other services on the same day and met Channing L who did my brows as well. Channing was super friendly as well and very professional after she did my brows she had an opening for a facial and let me tell you she hooks you up!! My skin has never been this smooth and glowy I cannot wait to come to see these ladies again!!! I finally found a place in OKC that made me feel wanted and welcomed! If you're looking for a new nail place, salon/spa I would highly recommend this place I will be going to them from now on !!! read more

it may be a great spa but DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE. i came to this salon for my 18th birthday for exentsions thinking i was gonna get beautiful hand tied extensions. they sell you hair the price of hand tied when it's not. it's machine weft hair that's horrible quality that they're charging top dollar for it. then will gaslight you telling you it's what you think. then when when you see how much hair they actually ordered for you it's not even enough when you've spent a rack on just hair already. price gouging much. this wasn't a recent experience i just got a text wanting me to rebook and was reminded of all this. if that manager is still the blonde asian lady avoid this place this the pelage. she tried to sell me someone's used hair that just came out their head when she realized the single weft she ordered for a rack that's shedding like a mf isn't gonna be enough. i don't know who taught her how to do business but she needs a crash corse bc her employees aka the extension "expert" that didn't even go to hair school she just took a class and was telling me how much she hated working at this place. the only good thing about this experience was the lady that actually dyed my hair. it took 8 hours for highlights which is absurd but they looked really good. read more

This is a great find in Edmond. I have had my share of bad manicures and pedicures. Everyone is professional and does an excellent job. Ashley was wonderful and careful doing a gel manicure and pedicure. It is quiet, relaxing and very clean. No loud music. I even fell asleep on my first manicure. I am so happy to have found this spa. read more

I wouldnt recommend this salon for any firm bookings or events. I made an appointment over three weeks ago for a bride and myself to kick off her wedding weekend. I called the salon before booking to ensure that they would be able to accommodate us and that the service was a surprise for the wedding. I made an appointment for a facial and a massage at 11:30 am and the bride was going to pick which service she wanted and I would receive the other at the same time. The morning of our appointment I received a phone call stating construction up the street had compromised their water line and that we wouldn't be able to receive our service. We booked nails and spray tans around this appointment to allow us a full day of relaxation and pampering before the stress of the wedding. When they insisted they could not squeeze us in I asked if there anyway to at least accommodate the bride and after much back and forth and not a lot of flexibility on their end they finally offered to see her at 3pm and potentially myself. As the one who booked and paid for this appointment that was upsetting. We received no incentive or thank you for our flexibility. Due to this reschedule we ended up losing our nail appointment altogether and spent the entire day frantically rescheduling plans we had made almost a month prior, two days before the wedding to accommodate the salon. I feel as though they could have offered anything to us in that moment and we would've been happy but it was hard to feel like they cared with the way they handled the situation. When we arrived at the salon on time at 3pm still hoping for the best we found that they definitely didn't try to go out of their way to accommodate our appointments and that they would only be able to service the bride. They offered me a full price milk bath during the brides massage which I honestly found insulting after we had been more than understanding in a situation that was completely not our fault. Also upon arrival we noticed that the construction in question was being done on the salon itself and it seems as though we were purposely told the city was responsible for the water being cut off when clearly they are remodeling and aware of the construction, therefore they could've planned accordingly and saved us a headache on a day that was meant be special and relaxing. We left this salon more flustered than when we entered and after their callous treatment of our situation I wouldn't recommend anyone receive a serveice from a salon that would wrong their customers and not even attempt to make it right. The women weren't rude or hateful but I do not feel they did their jobs to the best of their ability and feel incredibly let down. I would steer anyone away from this place FAST. I might add no one even asked me to reschedule my service. They literally let me walk out empty handed. We could've gone anywhere else in okc and everything in me wishes we would have. read more

Is there a zero star option? This place is highway robbery. From a misleading spa menu to unqualified staff, every single part of this experience was awful. I arrived 10 minutes before my service was set to start (Tour of Echelon costing $175 before tip), I waited 25 minutes in their waiting area before being taken back to a room with a pop up massage table and a thin sheet. I asked for more pressure but nothing changed. The massage, which is described as a 90 minute trip to paradise (if I remember correctly) lasted less than an hour. When I brought this to the to the attention of the woman at the front desk she told me, "this particular service can last up to 90 minutes but that depends on how quickly the guest changes." I couldn't believe it. Bottom line, do not go here. There are dozens of esteemed spas around Edmond and OKC but this isn't one of them. They let you know there are showers and a soaking tub but in order to access them, that is an extra charge of $95 according to their menu. I can't say it enough, do NOT go here. It's a run down building that has been shoddily remodeled and doesn't feel like a spa at all. Buyer beware!!! read more

I made an appointment for a women's cut for 3:30. Their email said to show up 15 minutes early ... no biggie, I get there at 3:15. They walk me past the salon area (that was empty) to a waiting area. I sat there until 3:45 before my stylist even came to get me. I've waited longer for appointments because the person is busy with the person before me and never had a problem, but there was NO ONE in there, meaning they didn't have an appointment before mine and was still 15 minutes late, no explanation given, no one else came to tell me that they were running late. I'm like whatever, I just really want my hair cut. It was past my shoulders and I showed her a picture of a messy bob that was to the middle of the neck. I told her that my hair was thick and wavy and that when it was dry it would shrink up after the weight was taken off. I suggested she dry cut it so that she doesn't cut it too short. She agreed and then not 1 minute later tells me to go to the sink. I started asking questions, how long have they been cutting hair, etc. trying to talk myself out of not leaving right then. She cuts my hair and then asks if i would like any product. Thinking that she was getting ready to dry and style it to check for issues. She puts some mouse in it and then takes the cape off. I look at my hair and she basically gave me a really short bowl cut. No shape, no layers, not even REMOTELY close to the style i showed her and I had more than enough hair (length and quantity) to get it done. Not only was it not the right cut the front was really short (barely covered my ears) and the back was almost to the bottom of my neck. I walked out and immediately called a salon that I had used in the past. She got me in, fixed my "old lady cut,' blow dried it, styled it, etc. I will NEVER go back to this establishment for ANY service. read more
