I am so thankful for my wonderful veterinarian Dr Dees! I have been bringing my fur babies as patients, for over 16 years. I just don't know where I would be without her. She really is part of our family and is a wonderful, kind and highly educated doctor. Many years ago Dr Dees saved my first cat BlackJacks, life by educating me on feline diabetes and how to administer his meds, test him daily and taught me alternatives to insulin that I could try. We managed to spend quite a few more years with him before he passed away. She also very recently helped my sweet senior kitty Marshmallow (who we have loved for over 14 years) pass over in the most peaceful and loving way. For many years Dr Dees has taken care of him and we had joked he belonged on a calendar for being so pretty. Both my cats would always be pleased to see her, and I felt so much comfort in that they did. I am now bringing all three of my babies over to get ready to move to the UK and I have full faith in Dr Dees and her amazing team to take care of such an important process. Both of my big dogs do so well at the office and are spoiled by all of the love and attention they get as soon as they walk through the door. They have fit us in multiple times last minute during emergencies and had great recommendations for all different price points of surgery centers in the area when our cat needed double FHO surgery. I am so angry writing this right now. Recently I have been disappointed by the front desk staff. The doctors are great and the techs as well but omg - I went to pick up meds for my dog and there were people in the waiting room so it was a bit busy. I was trying to get instructions on how to administer the drugs to my dog and the girl was firing the info at me while talking to other people in the area and very distracted it was hard to bring her into focus to answer questions. my dog gets very anxious on car rides and we are driving 14 hours from Tennessee so the drugs are for that. The drive up we felt like the drugs didn't work so we really tried today to give her the exact dose as we were instructed so she lido be calm And maybe sleep. So TODAY we are driving back so I called to say that the drugs don't appear to be working and can we give her a bit more? The girl literally said there is no doctor here today ( Sat) so I have no idea what to tell you. I said is there a way to call and ask? she literally said " We close in 4 minutes I wouldn't be able to get back to you until Monday" Are you KIDDING ME? I am disgusted. She could have made an ATTEMPT to try. I am disgusted I never would have done that to a patient. I said " Gee I didn't know your Saturday hours and I really don't think MONDAY is going to help us right now" she was awful. Very upset about it. read more

Found my new vet! I had taken my cat Simba to an emergency vet who quoted an outrageous amount to have the procedure he needed to have ASAP. I looked at the Yelp reviews and chose Echo Lane. They were able to get me in that same day. The price was fair, and due to previous circumstances, he ended up having to stay with them for a few days as well. The service was outstanding throughout. The staff IS AMAZING AS WELL AS THE VETERINARIAN! I walked in with a mindset that I could possibly be turned away, because I had been to many other vets before and either they were over capacity or didn't have the correct equipment. When I walked in, automatically was greeted and helped. They didn't turn me away they took time to help my puppy out and figure out an outcome after my puppy had a X-ray! It turned out my puppies foot was broken. We didn't wait much at all until they took her to the back to get worked on! The staff was very helpful and very supportive! The environment is peaceful and the facility is very well kept! The staff is very respectful and very much seems they enjoy their job! No complaints on my end! We used to have our lab puppy on the Banfield plan at PetSmart but was never a huge fan of the service or vets there so when she turned one, we took her here. Look NO further - this is your vet! Dr. Frye is amazingly warm, an excellent, knowledgeable vet with a very warm and positive attitude. I brought my dog, Nacho, in for a fairly routine visit and my 4 year old daughter was in tow, with her fake, stuffed puppy. I've been at some of the best vets in Houston and paid a hefty fee to make sure my fur baby is in the best hands, but this has been the best one and also is cost effective! I'm willing to drive out further for it. The BEST part was Dr. Frye and her staff were not only so attentive to Nacho, they made my daughter feel involved by letting her use a real stethoscope, wrap a "fake" bandage around Nacho and her puppy, and even get to play and pet the fostered kittens in the back. She had SO SO SO much fun, she cried about going back after we got home and now she wants to adopt a kitten. She loves Vets now and is looking forward to Nacho's next vaccinations! My two dogs and I love Echo Lane Animal Clinic and Dr. Frye! The attention and care we receive is excellent and it's never a long wait to be seen. I recently boarded my dogs there and they were kind enough to update them for their annual visits, shots, lab work and bathe them by the time I returned 2 days later which was really helpful for me to have it all done at once! Dr. Frye even went in one of the nights they were boarded to check on the animals during a bad storm in the area and calm the scared dogs. We used to enjoy coming here when Dr. Bill was the primary vet in charge. Unfortunately we're not impressed w/ the new vet/owner Dr. Frye. To make a long story short, she misdiagnosed our dog's health issues and overcharged us for a bunch of X-rays that did nothing to help. Worse, she implied that our dog was on her last leg and hinted that she should be put down since it appeared that she had "an intestinal blockage" and her cancer had spread. Turns out that all our dog needed was a $12. laxative (my idea, not hers) so she could eliminate the "blockage." So we spent $500. for nothing--and were charged for overpriced, ineffective "tests" and X-rays. When I called inform her that our dog recovered fully (she'd eaten a cotton sock), Dr. Frye became defensive and argumentative. Despite Dr. Frye's lack of help, our dog bounced back and is as healthy and perky as ever! read more

Dr. Frye at Echo Lane Animal Clinic exceeded all of our expectations when we brought a feral cat we named Gypsy into her clinic to be spayed. From not having to make an appointment, to performing an additional surgery, to an extended stay and her fees. She treated Gypsy with the same care that she would give to a beloved family pet. I am so disappointed in Echo Land Animal Clinic. My parents have been customers for 40 years. One of their dogs had surgery a week ago and had a check up this afternoon. Their other dog which is about 7 lbs has quit eating. When we called at 9 this morning to see if they could look at the smaller dog today or during the other dog's appointment, we were told they had no appointments available until Monday. When we commented that she might not live that long, they "accommodated" us by working her in on Saturday. (Today is Wednesday) Pitiful. read more

Dr. Bill saved my mom's cat's life without it costing an arm and a leg. Everyone had given up on him but turned out he was just dehydrated and needed extra vitamins. So when my dog Champagne had a bone stuck in her teeth, I took her here--and was told I had to wait since there are no appointments, which is fair.
