I would give Echo Plumbing 10 stars if it were possible! Many thanks to Juan and Miguel and crew for outstanding work to replace my main water line, extending from the end of my driveway to my house. (30 feet). They expertly worked around many obstacles, including my neighbor's main water line located next to mine, and the homeowner irrigation line and PG &E line at the edge of my driveway. The entire water line (made of blue plastic? pre-pvc pipe which is no longer used because the chlorinated water makes the pipe brittle) was replaced with only a small section of the concrete driveway removed. All work was completed in a day, including concrete replacement. When finished, it was hard to tell that anything had been done. Echo Plumbing & Rooter We had a fantastic experience with Echo Plumbing and Rooter. They were able to address all of our issues (5 faucets), making repairs and/or installations as needed. They were/are very knowledgeable, professional, neat and very quickly repaired/replaced our ailing faucets. We needed to get an estimate to replace two (2) kitchen faucets with faucets we recently purchased and then repair, as needed, three (3) other faucets: a 57 yr. old Two-Handle Laundry Faucet with Straddle Legs and 6" Tube Spout, and two (2) Garden Hose Faucets. We called Echo Plumbing around 9:00 a.m. for an appointment. An appointment was scheduled for arrival between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. The Plumber/Technician, Chris C., arrived on time, assessed each faucet and explained what was needed. Besides the Kitchen sink replacements, we needed to replace the Laundry Faucet, and both Garden Hose faucets. He had all the materials with him except for the Laundry Faucet. He contacted a co-worker, Juan, and sent him a photo and specs required. Juan purchased the correct replacement faucet and brought it to the house and installed it. All work was completed in less than four hours. Like some other businesses, they would rather send someone out who is prepared to do the work to tell you the cost and you have to turn them down if it is too expensive. The technician said that the $275 price he quoted was the minimum for using the snake. If there is a minimum cost, why do they refuse to provide that information? Excellent, fast, and honest service! The outdoor hose spigot pipe broke flush to the wall and we had to turn off the water main. Echo Plumbing (Miguel & Carlos) were the only one of three plumbers who agreed to help with same day service, and within a couple hours. They did a thorough job carefully opening the garage wall to access the pipe, made the repair quickly, and put everything back together better than it was originally (for example, the pipe passed through a wall stud that simply had a gap sawed out; they correctly reinforced it with a steel plate). On top of everything, the job cost less than $300 - IMO a bargain for an after-hours emergency repair. read more

Echo Plumbing was quick & sent Chris & Juan same-day, both nice and professional. They had a $99 special for snaking a toilet, but let us know once they got here we didn't qualify as we needed an industrial snake that cost quite a bit more.They also said after snaking, they could do under-house inspection for another addt. fee. Our bill was about $500+ at this point. Chris and Juan were efficient, considerate & didn't leave a mess. The snake didn't work, as the pipes needed repairing. They told us the repairs, which required cutting thru a wall, would be $3,700+, plus the $500 we already owed for the snake/inspection. We found a different company that finally did the work for WAY LESS THAN HALF of Echo Plumbing's price and said that it was unnecessary to cut through walls. Everything is fixed, but we are still shocked that Echo plumbing was going to charge us an enormous amount of money (plus unnecessarily cut thru a wall!) for what turned out to be 2 hours of work!!
