There was a leak in my parents' kitchen in which the water was found under the flooring with cabinet damage. I was freaking out! Stress level went through the roof! As soon as our plumber found the source of leak, he referred us to Eco Clean . He called them and Antonio from Eco Clean came in an hr with his machines ! Antonio was very polite , explained in detail the plan for the next several days of drying up the moisture. The best thing is, they also do repair and renovation work too! One stop shop! I live in a condo and my living room received a lot of water from an apartment above me when their hot water tank leaked. I searched online for a water mitigation company and found that EcoClean had many very positive reviews. So I called them and they were quick to the rescue. After assessing the situation by project manager Andre, he brought two technicians, Marcus and Maverick, who installed fans, a dehumidifier, and other equipment to mitigate the water damage to the floor and inside of one wall. Over the course of six days, they periodically came to check the moisture level and move large furniture as needed. They also were attentive to preventing mold and bacteria from developing. This in part involved drilling holes in one wall that they later filled then painted the entire walls. They also installed new flooring. They met with the claims representative of my homeowners insurance to verify the damage and the need for new flooring as well as to facilitate billing. All three EcoClean employees were highly professional, reliable, thorough, respectful, and friendly. Our very old water heater leaked and caused damage to the walls and flooring. The water heater is located in the closet beneath the stairs so there was water in that area beneath the stairs. Daniel was able to come on short notice to assess and he did a very thorough job finding out how much water and moisture had accumulated. We appreciated his expertise, kindness and even great enthusiasm to help us fix our problem. We especially loved his positive energy. He advised us what to do until he came back the next day with Antonio (who was also very awesome, friendly and very helpful!!) to open up the wall and use a dehumidifier to dry out the area. Antonio came back the next morning to check it and saw it needed to be dried longer. He was in and out and efficient. Antonio then came back the next day. Everything was dried, and he disassembled all his equipment and was finished in less than an hour. As inconvenient as the whole situation was, we really appreciated that Daniel and Antonio made it a good experience for us and got the water dried up in 2 days. We're so thankful it did not get worse, otherwise we would have to take apart our flooring. So grateful for Daniel, Antonio and EcoClean. Yipes, stinky back-flow sewage spill in 3 of our apartment units last Sunday. We had 1" of water sitting in the bathroom, which caused water to seep through to other rooms and up 6" of some drywall. All the toilets & showers had a 6" coat of black, stinky sewage sludge. I called 2 different companies that had good Yelp reviews & who took calls on weekends. Eco Clean responded in about 1 hour, arrived at the disaster zone within 3 hours (fully equipped), explained the scope of work and began cleaning up right away. (The other company never responded.) At my request, they disinfected the two exterior clean-out drain areas where the sewage seeped out and I received photos of the areas soaking in disinfectant. All the toilets & showers which were coated with black sludge (probably sewage) were scrubbed and disinfected. The walls and floors were dried out with blowers for 4-5 days. After the cleanup, one would ever know that there was ever flood. The floors were clean and there were no sewage odors. Ruy was the assessor & hands-on technician, contacted me everyday with a progress report and was very courteous. Cost was a little over $1000 per unit and their immediate response prevented a mold problem which happens very quickly in Hawaii's humidity. read more
