Susan, I just read your response and I cannot believe that you stated that "damage could not be done by just doing a manicure." Did you actually LOOK at the image? The damage follows the line of her manicure EXACTLY, and she had it removed by a salon. Mine was not quite as bad but when my daughter sent that picture of hers, I felt compelled to write the review and include the picture. But honestly, that was my daughter's hands...she had no reason to lie about it...she wasn't even the person who submitted the review. I didn't even ask for a refund, I just stated the truth and you imply that I am lying about it? My review history does not show that I just lie about businesses. I am so happy with my first experience at Eco Nails. After friends suggesting I give them a try, I am glad I finally did. Joyce was my nail tech and she was wonderful. She was friendly, didn't force conversation when I was relaxing and walked me through her process since I was new. I did a traditional mani pedi and my nails looked great. Everyone here I saw was so professional and kind and you can tell they take pride in what they do, it is so refreshing to see. Booking appointments was easy, I visited with my mom and sister and they had no problem making 3 mani pedi appointments for us all together and also confirmed a few days prior, which I really appreciated. The interior of the nail salon was bigger than I expected. I was impressed how clean and well maintained it was. The atmosphere was relaxing but still well lit and professional. The pedicure chairs were fully operating and in good condition, something that was lacking at previous nail salons I've visited. You can tell they have a lot of regulars and very personable with their guests. The overall setup is inviting and you don't feel like you're smushed in with a ton of other customers. I had no problem finding a polish color I liked from their wall of choices. Upon paying, they handed out a small gift bag with a lotion sample and $5 gift card, which I will definitely use on my next visit. Edit: yes I've reviewed multiple times as I've been at eco nails countless times... you checking my time in and out doesn't verify if the actual service was rushed LOL.. which it definitely was. I most certainly do have an issue with switching techs during a service especially since i was never informed when booking. Again very unprofessional. For you to say try contacting the owner or manager rather then commenting on social media is pointless as my mom did that when she had the very same experience yet it was done again so what's the point? Purchased 9 mani pedi gift cards. Was hoping for a very small break on pricing - didn't happen. Took a very long time to complete purchase.

I generally do not like to post negative reviews. But when the service is terrible, as well as the handling of the problem by the owner, I feel like others in the community will benefit from knowing our experience. My daughter had a gel manicure last week. Her technician was on her phone reading and texting off and on during the entire appointment. This distraction led to the technician cutting and drawing blood on not one, not two, not three, but FOUR cuticles! One bled so badly, that she instructed my daughter to wash the blood off in the sink! Not only was she negligent by being on her device, she risked spreading bacteria from her device to my daughter's now open wounds. I called the owner, explained the situation, and to my surprise, she said she was sitting right next to the nail tech working on my daughter. She was aware and condoned the tech being on her mobile during a paid appointment. What's worse, she justified this by telling me the nail tech had some family drama she needed to attend to. I told her the damage on my daughter's cuticles and she told me, when I asked, that she would NOT give a full refund. She did ask for photos. I sent the ones attached to this post. Further conversation after she viewed the photos led to her confirming that she would still NOT give a full refund, but would offer 50% because her employee "still spent her time" and "should get something". I find it appalling that this owner allows her staff to text while handling sharp instruments. She's clearly not concerned about cross contamination or injury. I had to argue with her for ten minutes just to get $19 back. Had she done the right thing and refunded the cost of the service and trained her staff appropriately, she wound not have lost me and my daughters as customers. Perhaps even more. read more

It seemed to be just what I was looking for- eco friendly, spa-like, and great service (based on other reviews). So I was able to make an appointment yesterday and I was wrong- it surpassed all my expectations!!! The pedicure chair lifted and I was left elevated during the massage which was super fancy for just the traditional pedicure I asked for; it was amazing and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep for a while. My manicure was truly a healing manicure. My acrylics were removed correctly while keeping the integrity of my natural nails as best as possible. The keratin gloves smelled so good and made a huge difference in my skin and nails. I can't even put into words how amazing this experience was from start to finish but I will say that I am excited to continue getting all my regular mani and pedi's at this salon moving forward!! I got a pedicure. It was a very clean salon. The pedicure wasn't as extensive as I'm used to, but they did a nice job cutting my nails.

The chairs are comfortable but that's about all I can say positively about Eco Nails. I am a licensed cosmetologist and can tell you that the cleanliness of this salon isn't what it seems. I witnessed pedicure chairs and bowls not being cleaned properly, during my service dirty files were used, my tech dropped the nippers on the floor and continued to used them and all 10 of my toes were cut between the buffer and the file getting my gel polish off. I am not from the area so I relied on my fellow Yelpers to find a good clean nail salon and yet again they did not fail me! This place is amazing and I love their eco-friendly/organic mantra. The inside is beautiful and very relaxing. The zero gravity massage chairs are life changing. The sugar scrub, the smell of essential oils, the true hot towels and care from Tam was unbelievable! I brought in my own color but there are lots of colors to chose from. This classic pedicure was just the beginning of future visits. I will make the 40 minute drive and will be back in two weeks with my partner in crime! Do yourself a favor and have a fantastic experience by coming here. Ok so eco nails. My mother and I had heard a lot about it. I resorted to always doing my hands at home because I know how I like them but I like getting pedicures for the exfoliation that I feel I can't do as well at home for myself. When we first got in they couldn't find our reservation, not sure why that is. They told us they would do our pedicure and see if they had time for my moms manicure, which was a bit frustrating considering we 100% had a reservation. After this though they were extremely professional. The place is beautiful, the staff are extremely nice and the service is amazing. My mom and I had Dubai level pedicures (which is top notch IMO). They also then told us they had time for my moms manicure. She said they trimmed a bit much which caused a very minor cut on one finger (nothing serious), there was also confusion on whether or not she wanted gel, but she didn't realize until they started with the lamp. Overall she did end up loving how they looked. We'll definitely be coming back again! read more

This is the WORST place to get a pedicure! WORST! I tried two different girls and both of them resulted in me getting two ingrown toe nails on diff toes each and paying a podiatrist to get them out. Painful AND expensive as heck! They DO NOT know how to file nails there. They do such a horrible job. They truly ruined my toes and im still recovering from the damage BOTH different girls have done.. Im livid! I will never go here again. Oh and also their dazzle dry on their nails does NOT one week. It lasts ONE DAY. The next day it completely chipped and looked like crap. Cant express how horrible they do here. My toe is on fire right now and I already had to pay an atrocious fee to remove some of my big toe nail just because I didn't know how infected it was going to get. Save yourself and go somewhere else. I wish somebody told me this :( Also!!!! My "manicure" consisted of the lady clipping around my nail and getting the dead skin off but there was no dead skin around it so she just made my nail skin worse and grow back thicker. Like it's a simple job to get manicure. You can clean the cuticles and just get polished but nope....not here. It's like they secretly want you to get damaged! Never ever ever again! On Saturday, I got an express pedi. The technician cut my toe with her instrument. It started to bleed. She squirted some green liquid on it and just looked at it and said "I never do that...." I asked if I could see the bottle; wanted to know if it had some sterilization product in it. When it stopped bleeding, she continued putting on polish. As I was leaving, I told the gentleman at the desk "the technician cut my toe; it's still bleeding; very concerned about infection." The tech followed me to the desk and said "what are you doing?" I also mentioned she didn't put any cream on my heels. Yes, I know an express pedi does not have the massage; etc., but other techs put a quick coat of oil or lotion on heels only after scrubbing them. I came home; washed the cut thoroughly; put on antibiotic cream. I also called ECO and asked the man at the desk what I should do about it. I had already done everything he suggested. Sunday morning it was still bleeding; more antibiotic cream; and wore open toed shoes. This was not my regular technician. I tried to make an appointment with her; busy; so I took whoever had an opening at the time. It was also a sub-par pedi. I will find somewhere else to go. The technician should not have followed me to the desk; made comment; and left. Disappointing experience. It's so dangerous when you get cut during any kind of procedure. WOW! read more

Warmly greeted at the door, offered coffee or tea, wonderful technician, great mani and pedi skillfully done. And they were not lying about those laying back chairs....amazing! I wanted to give it another try because I remember the foot and leg massages were fantastic with the pedicure. This time my experience was mediocre and felt very rushed. The nail techs nails were long so the massage felt a little painful at times, and instead of long relaxing strokes it felt like she was just rushing to massage the lotion into my skin. I have been to Eco nails before and the first time I went it was terrible. My SHELLAC nail polish came off in two days and they blamed it on my hormones. I went back into the salon and they were very nice about fixing them. I was still very upset because they tried to give an excuse and were obviously upset that I had come back in. I was determined to get my money's worth so I did! So I had not gone back to Eco nails in two years because of that experience. I finally decided to give it another try because my friend loves it there. So I went and was thrilled! They did an awesome job and I just love the salon as a whole. It's very nice and I love that it is Eco friendly! I am so glad that I decided to give it another try because my nails look awesome! I got a shellac mani and a regular pedi! They are very helpful and happy to answer any questions that you may have! The only downside was the lady who sits behind the counter when you initially walked in was not so nice to my friend. She said that this is not the first time this has happened and as we were walking out another customer made a joke to us about how grumpy she was. First of all, I absolutely loved the service! All the employees were kind and helpful, lovely to be around. Now here's where my story begins; I usually get my nails done in a little nails shop in Birmingham. But I was, at the time, in dire need of getting my nails done and this nail salon was the closest to my work, so I decided to try it out. I entered without a reservation, was kindly greeted and given fast service, even though they were fully booked they found a spot for me. I was extremely happy and pleased. I got the gel-shellac nails, the lady's that served me were amazing. I loved getting the treatment and massage. My complaint is that the nails chipped a few hours after, on cloth. I'm veryyyyyy careful not to let my nails touch anything on the first day, but the fact that I touched a soft hand towel and it chipped was ridiculous. Later, another nail chipped, I was getting into bed. I awoke to even more chips. Day two and I have one nail with literally no polish on it. Another is half gone. And the rest are chipped. I don't understand how this happened when I am very careful with my hands. I assume the gel-shellac polish was old or cheap. Taking a closer look I see they were poorly painted. I want to say I'd recommend this place to a friend simply because the service was that amazing. But the quality is so bad I wouldn't. I really have high hopes for this place. Maybe they can redeem themselves. But I just can't trust that they'd do better on the second round. read more

This place it's very good if you can get in! However I've called to make appointments and had to leave a message on an answering machine that said they would call me back. Two hours later I got a callback and they said they had nothing and could take me the next day. That wasn't helpful for me as I had to work the next day. This is happened on several occasions. When I did reach them they could never get me same-day appointments. Although they are 6 1/2 miles from my home your best bet is to take your chances and walk in. Very frustrating. Most of the front desk people are great however there is one young man there that is rude and never apologetic for not being able to get me a space to get my nails done. Like I said if you can get in they do a good job. They need to talk to their staff. read more

This was my first visit, and I did not feel like it was anything special. Things that are done at other spa locations are not done here unless you "buy up" Do not apply lotion after so my feet were really dry upon leaving and so were my hands. I really liked this salon! It smells really good and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I was there for a kids mani/pedi for my 9 year old, and they were able to fit in a shellac mani for me. My daughter didnt fit in the chairs at all, but they were able to accommodate her very well. I didn't get the name of the lady that helped her, but they were talking the whole time and she answered every question my daughter had. My daughter did manage to smudge her pedicure while moving from the manicure area to the drying area, but it was fixed right away. My manicure was very nice. I had Anna and I explained that I like my nails to be square with the edges rounded, but that when I got my last manicure I thru didn't understand what I wanted and made them round. She calls what I wanted "soft square" and she fixed it beautifully. She was very fast with the polish, but I'm very nitpicky and I haven't noticed any flaws. I also liked how clean everything was. All the tools are sanitized and metal, and everyone wears gloves. I have 1 more salon to check out because I want to try a powder manicure, but for regular polish or shellac, this one is great! read more
