He noticed that the drain I ordered wasn't the right piece (had an overflow) so we thankfully avoided issues with that. My water heater died and they replaced it promptly. It was a very difficult installation - the location of the water heater is highly challenging. In fact, the washer/dryer in the laundry room had to be moved into hallway to gain access to replace water heater. So small is the laundry room where the hot water heater (and furnace) is located, that the door to the laundry room door needed to be removed to move the washer/dryer into the hallway so that the old water heater could be removed and the new water heater be installed. Eco Plumbing was able to come out for an emergency clog of our drains. Never fun! They tried to snake and, since we have back to back toilets, the snake was going from one to the other. They quickly started digging out the drain line and got the clog fixed. They came back a few days later to install a clean out and used a camera to look in the line. There was an issue with the city's line and they called NapaSan and reported it. I felt very taken care of by everyone at Eco Plumbing. They are efficient and I will recommend them to anyone looking for professional and knowledgable plumbers. read more

I have contacted Geiler/Eco Plumbing a handful of times and each time I've been impressed. The staff is full of the most personable and professional plumbers in the bay area. In 10 years of construction and maintenance I have never been more satisfied with a plumbing company. Broken main lines, toilet issues, leaks inside walls and water heater replacements are some of the things we've contacted them about at our 200 unit senior complex and each time they've been out very quickly, able to finish without us needing to call them back. Plumbing is not always easy and there are companies that will avoid doing the work needed and give you a dishonest account of what they did and run for the hills hoping that the problem doesn't come back. Geiler plumbing is not one of those outfits. They will do the job to completion and perfection every time. Compared to many other bay area plumbers their hourly rates are fair and honest. Also, they are easy to reach and there's no trouble with the receptionist trying unsuccessfully to get you to the correct person until you are stuck at a company-wide voicemail box. Had this company out to my house three times in one month for a clogged main line. The first guy to show up was young and seemed inexperienced. He was able to clean out the line under the kitchen, which worked for a week. The next guy came out and dug up the front yard as i didnt have a main cleanout. He was able to clear roots, which worked for a week. It clogged up again and he said it was probably a broken line, had to pay for the line to be cleaned out again. I paid for a video inspection which found tree roots not fully cut out. read more
