On 28 Oct 2019 I emailed the company and informed them they sent the wrong size. The same day Mr. Kasprowicz (President and CEO) replied with a shipping label to return the helmet and an email that said "Sitting right here. Not sure how it got screwed up. Sorry for the inconvenience." I sent the helmet back and it was delivered on 31 Oct 2019. The new/correct helmet was sent on 8 Nov 2019 and I received it on 14 Nov 2019. This helmet was too big. I ordered according to the websites sizing chart. I contacted the company on 18 Nov 2019 and informed them of the issue. Mr. Kasprowicz responded by asking me to send pictures of my son in it and asked if I sent pictures of him in the other helmet. I responded by telling him I didn't send pictures of my son in the first helmet. (He never asked me to. He just sent me a return shipping label. ) I send him pictures of my son in the new helmet as well as my sons head circumference. This is where things get strange. I feel like once he saw my son was half black he started being a bit ruder and not responding back to me when I would email. He responded to the email with the pictures by saying "Heads aren't like pads. He could be in the smaller size for a long time. A 21 inch head is not going to come close." But didn't tell me how to return it. On 21 November, 3 days later, he responded with an email to do a return/exchange of the helmet for the smaller size. I sent it back and the USPS tracking # states it was delivered on 21 Dec 2019. On 14 Jan 2020, I emailed Mr. Kasprowicz and informed him I returned the helmet 4 weeks ago but haven't received the new helmet and I asked for a status update. No response. On 21 Jan 2020 I emailed him again asking if I could get a status update. Again, no response. On 27 Jan 2020 I emailed him again and let him know I had sent 2 emails in the last 2 weeks inquiring as to when the helmet would be arriving and had yet to hear from anyone. He responded same day saying "The helmet should ship tomorrow. I am expecting my shipment in later today." I hadn't heard anything more so on 5 Feb 2020, 9 days later, I emailed him asking if the helmet shipped and what the tracking number was. He responded by calling me but I was unable to answer because I'm not allowed to use my phone at work. I emailed him letting him know that. No response. On 7 Feb 2020 I emailed him again asking what was going on with the helmet. Again, no response. On 18 Feb 2020, another 2 weeks later, I emailed him asking if there was an issue with the helmet because it was supposed to ship on 28 Jan 2020 and I had not received it. I told him I paid for a helmet and have no helmet. He responded saying "I have that the helmet was sent to you and delivered on 11/8/2019." (How was it sent and delivered to me on the same day?) The helmet he is referring to is the helmet he sent to me after I returned the 1st one due to him screwing up the order by sending the wrong size initially. I responded with "That was the helmet that was returned because it was too big. It was returned and delivered to you on 21 Nov 2019." I responded right after to correct the date, it was 21 Dec, not 21 Nov. He has not responded. On 19 Feb 2020, I sent him a copy of USPS tracking number and that is shows it was delivered. I still haven't received a response. Both helmets were sent back using USPS and tracking numbers show they were both delivered to his address. He is refusing to send me the new helmet but charged me the $791.72 for it. I have not received the product I ordered. I have been dealing with this issue since I ordered the helmet. He charged me for a product that he won't send me. He is a crook, doing shady business. He is stealing from a little boy!

    I just had a scuba refresher course with DJ's Scuba Locker, and I think they do a very good job…read more Two friends and I met at the shop, where we met the owners and our instructor, Zach. After completing some forms, we were fitted with shorty wet suits, BCs and the yoke with the hoses for the regulators, BC attachment and air pressure gauge. Zach instructed us review all the equipment as if were at a renting scuba shop, and I found that my regulator's mouth fitting was damaged, and he immediately replaced it. First Zach helped us remember how to set up our gear, while adding many useful suggestions and knowledge to the session. Once we assembled our tanks and BCs with his guidance, he made us do it all again, but by ourselves, only saying something if we were doing something incorrectly. After this, he packed all our gear and we went to a YMCA nearby to do the actual diving refresher. The equipment worked well. He had practice 25 (might have been 28) skills for recertification. He is a very good instructor, meeting each person where they are at and helping with their needs. All the time he kept emphasizing important points and talking about what to expect at our dive shop because of his knowledge of similar places. When we were done, Zach packed everything and we left. He is a very affable, pleasant, and professional young man who knows his subject matter very well. The owners of the shop are also very nice, we had an opportunity to talk to them as well. I bought a mask, which the lady owner had me try several sizes and qualities and helped me decide on one that was very comfortable and very reasonably priced. I give the whole operation, but especially Zach, 5 stars. My friends agreed with this rating. I will be going back there for my diving needs.

    I just finished the second part of my Open Water Dive Training with DJ Scuba, and it was fantastic…read more I met both of the owners; one when I was getting fitted, and the other when I was picking up my gear, and they were both extremely nice and helpful. They went over the gear with me and made sure it fit properly, and it was all in pretty good condition. My instructor's name was Jeff. He was very nice and even let me dive even though the first day I came two hours late because my alarm clock died. I had already come to terms with how screwed I was and didn't expect to be able to get certified before I left on my trip, but when I called the dive shop to see if there was any way I could still dive, they called Jeff to let him know I was coming late and he fit me in before his next group! My only gripe is that they're a little far out of the way (I live in Chicago), but I took Ogden straight there and it wasn't too bad, maybe 25 minutes each way.
