Okay so I get here it's really good customer service. I got horchata to drink that was expired. I also got the birria tacos and they have zero flavor even the consommé had no flavor. DO NOT RECOMMEND

When we walked in, there was no one at the counter to greet us. Several employees looked over from the back, but no one acknowledged us or came forward to help. First impressions matter, and this one fell flat. The tacos were just okay, but not nearly good enough to justify the price. The "street tacos" especially were disappointing. They consisted of nothing more than two tortillas and meat. If you want onions, cilantro, or salsa, you have to get them yourself from the condiment station. At around $3 per taco, I shouldn't feel like I'm assembling my own meal. The one bright spot was the Utah Queso--it was flavorful and easily the best thing we ordered. Unfortunately, it was served with chips that were embarrassingly stale. We asked for fresh chips, and while the replacement basket was slightly better, they were still stale. It's hard to enjoy a great queso when the chips don't do it justice. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the lack of customer service, overpriced and underwhelming tacos, and stale chips, Jurassic Taco didn't live up to the hype. I was hoping for a fun dining adventure, but this one ended in disappointment.

The staff ignored the issue as they were Hispanic. I cannot speak for what the health code is in the area, but other patrons seemed visibly annoyed also.

Quiero Mas was recommended to me by another local Yelper and I knew I had to give them a go! I…read moredrove all the way from Lehi just to check them out and boy, I am glad I did. It was super easy to find and because of the time of day, I found parking without a problem. I do suppose it is harder to find parking when the businesses in the area are busier. I did have a bit of trouble opening the door so the guy had to come let me in. I saw a few other people have the same issue as I was eating--it seemed to be stuck. The guy ringing up my order recommended the burritos but I had already made up my mind before I arrived: Birria Tacos and Elote on the cop...but in a cup. They also had Jamaica which I thought was awesome because I have only been able to find Jamaica in more southern areas like Houston...so I ordered a glass of that too! The food came out super quickly. The Birria Tacos were a bit small but they were also less than $10 so I still consider that a win! They were packed with flavor and I loved the consume on the side as well. Now, the whole reason I came is because I have seen the trend of Mexican Street Corn and wanted to try it for myself. Not a lot of places I have been to offer it so I was excited to find a place that did offer it. I like all the ingredients within the dish so I thought I would love it...but I didn't :( I really didn't like it at all. I rarely don't finish my food and I didn't finish my cup of corn. One thing I will say though, is it seems like I just don't like this specific food and it has nothing to do with the way it was made. It was presentable and exactly what they said it would be. I am just not sure why I didn't like it. As for everything else, it was awesome. I really really really got a kick out of the decor inside. It is more than cute and you can tell they put so much effort into the design of the place. It is also very spacious--there is plenty of seating for you and your friends. I drove from Lehi just to go here and I recommend people in the area do the same!!

The food was interesting, but definitely well cooked with fresh ingredients. My mom got gringo…read moretacos and was surprised by the giant mass of melted/grilled mozzarella cheese cover then entire thing. She started picking it off but then ended up eating all the cheese anyway, so it must have been good! Just not expected. I got the Birria tacos. They were good, but not the best I've ever had. The portions are good for the price. The meat is all well cooked. My biggest complaint is that the menu is unclear and a little chaotic. There are pictures for things that aren't on the menu, and when I asked for clarification, the cashier seemed confused. For example, there is a picture of quesabirilla tacos, but the only options on the menu were quesadilla birria or birria tacos. I tried to ask how to order the quesabirilla tacos, but I just for birria tacos. Maybe the others don't exist. The cashier wasn't super interested in helping and it's super awkward to sit and read the giant menu while he's staring at you, so maybe read it ahead of time and know what you are getting. Haha. Don't expect normal Mexican food. It's different, but fun! That's the appeal. But also important to know before showing up.
