Not happy with my experience. Was told they would be paid directly from insurance after I signed paperwork and that my deductible would be applied to the rebuild as this was an emergency water mitigation. I was also told if I used there affiliated company I would get $1000 off to help with the deductible. Then my deductible was applied to EcoDry and I was not going to be able to afford there rebuild company. I was $1100 short as I was planning on the $1000 help with my deductible. I paid over $6000.00 and they would call me every couple days after that asking for the rest of the payment. I understand wanting to be paid but they go overboard with the constant phone calls, texts and emails. read more

As soon as I finished my call with the plumbing company, EcoDry called and told me they would stop by and do their inspection around the same time. The tear out happened the next morning! SHOUTOUT to Jordan, Vance and Blake for their outstanding job, tearing down soaked drywall and insulation just under two hours. I'm so glad I got to work with such a professional crew. They were on time. Unloaded the necessary supplies and got right to work. Even with the soaring temperatures in such a tight space, they never complained. BEWARE! EcoDry requires you to sign a contract stating that you give them permission to deal with your insurance company for payment. I was relieved that I would not have to contact the insurance company about every detail during the restoration process. Long story short, my insurance company paid the claim from EcoDry regarding their fees. A week later, Spencer from EcoDry is blowing up my phone requesting payment. I told him that the bill had been paid and I even sent him the correspondence from my adjustor stating that the claim had been paid in full. I told him that I signed a contract that stated that they would deal with the insurance company and he needed to contact them about payment. He would not stop texting me requiring payment. I finally had to block him from messaging me. EcoDry was trying to get double payment by bullying me into paying for their services again. Make sure you make them deal with your insurance company. They are ruthless and trying to scam people! read more

Morgan, Christopher (CJ), and Joshua R came out right away and I tell you those guys did an AMAZING JOB getting all of the wet drywall and floor boards out and they left my kitchen so clean. I had NO idea what the industry of Water Damage Mitigation was all about until the day I had an overly saturated carpet in my master bedroom closet. The plumbing company recommended Eco-Dry and they were a blessing from the moment we called them. Evan B. was my main contact and was incredibly patient with my lack of knowledge of this industry. He explained the timeline, the potential outcomes and recommended a local construction company to repair the damages. Evan was incredibly professional, timely and his communication style was much appreciated. Once the water damage area was identified we had Beasley & Vance who, over a few hours, removed a portion of a large bathroom cabinet and a few square areas of sheetrock. When they left, the area remained for over two days with drying equipment directed behind the sink, on both sides of the wall and under the carpet. Beasley was incredibly kind, professional in all communication and I truly appreciated his gentle care while all aspect of my home. Additional team member that were kind: Sylissa came by a few times to very is the area was dry and finally JoseLuis & Jacob came by to pick up the equipment and make sure all was cleaned up. I've never written a bad review about a company on here so that should tell you about the level of service ecodry has provided. Once they receive the funds from the insurance, they stopped responding although they missed multiple sites of water damage in which they are supposed to catch and remove. They even agreed it was a mishap on their end but never followed up after numerous attempts on my end to get ahold of them. They left my counter/sink standing on wooden panels for about a month. They advised for me to get my cabinets rebuilt even though there was still leakage. Chandler Trotter was the absolutely worst employee and I would never hire an employee like him if I were a business owner. The only person that really offered me quality help and assistance was a guy named Michael but he moved to Vegas and he is the only reason why I feel bad about writing this bad review. Overall, STAY FARRRRRRR, FAR AWAY from this company if you can help it. Especially if you're getting referred from Sage plumbing. Midway through November we discovered we had a leak in our kitchen from behind our sink. We immediately called our home warranty and they got us a plumber immediately, they then recommended a 'free inspection' from EcoDry. They were out to our house within felt like minutes. Walker came into our home and began taping off more rooms than just our kitchen that needed immediate repair due to water damage stating that this is a 'job we've done over a thousand times' a 'simple insurance claim and we would only pay a deductible' and 'we will even pay 1k dollars towards your deductible to help you out during the holidays - so long as we PROMISE to use their construction team' We called and made the claim with my insurance and from there he had his demo team came into our home and rip out walls, countertops, sinks. Unfortunately for us, the type of insurance policy our home had was a non peril plan and did not cover anything plumbing related. So assuming we had a proper insurance policy, we verbally passed the okay to proceed, unbeknownst to us that it would not be covered. Thankfully, Caleb with EcoDry gave us his best efforts to resolve this matter and for that I am grateful. What began as a poor experience was resolved due to their care of customer service and satisfaction even from situations outside of their own control. Our balance was cleared and had a repair made to a kitchen appliance we had damaged accidentally through demo free of charge (quickly too) I did my due diligence, researched the company, asked Walker so many questions about "what about this _______" but didn't question my insurance plan. As a homeowner I learned to fully understand and read my home insurance policy and to not let people into my home without a direct OKAY from my insurance on authorization and coverage beforehand. I encourage any new homeowner to do the same before allowing work to begin on their home for their own sanity as well as the time of the business. I sincerely wish this entire situation was different but have taken it as a learning experience. Overall, I appreciate the work EcoDry did in our home during its demo. Their team was kind and hardworking. Getting out all of the wet dry wall and cabinetry basically leaving us no mess was a help. Following up with Caleb's diligence to make right of this situation thereafter, I can say (after finding a new insurance policy) I would be happy to reevaluate using EcoDry and it's construction teams in the future if need be. read more

On Friday 4-18 of this year I had a small leak from the toilet tank. My home warranty company sent a plumber who quickly fixed it. I had noticed the leak when I flushed, an quickly turned the water off to the tank and cleaned up the small amount of water on the floor. The plumber said the leak might have seeped under the base board, and he just happened to have a card for a company who could check for mold. He encouraged me to call EcoDry as soon as possible, which I did. Ecodry was there in 30 minutes, used some meter, which showed water had wicked up the drywall, and probably had mold. The rep tried to get me to sign a work order to have them tear out a 2 by 3 foot section of the drywall and baseboard. I said I wanted to think it over, and they departed. I googled the company, and found they had many negative reviews. I called another well known national company, Two uniformed rep came out, checked the entire bath and found no moisture or mold anywhere in walls. A plumber referred me to this company before changing out my garbage disposal and finding some excess water under the kitchen cabinet. Jalan was the technician that arrived from this company ecodry. Very easy going. After checking the kitchen cabinet for moisture with his sensors he gave me some good news. The moisture was minimal and I wouldn't be needing their services at this time. This was a free quote, and the fact that a plumber advise me to have a midigation specialist take a closer look, means i could've easily been told anything and would've believed it. That didn't happen. That's pretty much the end of the story. this experience tells me that ecodry is trustworthy and honest. An update on my experience with EcoDry: I was contacted by a Mitigation Manager Caleb Dalton on Monday June 3rd, 2024 regarding my review and experience with the company. He explained that EcoDrys core values include communication and customer service and my experience with Cory was not reflective of the company. He let me know that he would be my main point of contact moving forward and would try and make things right. I submitted my denied claim to him to review and he let me know that EcoDry would not be charging me for their services. He also provided me partial funding to go towards my insurance deductible which is much appreciated and was hand delivered on Wednesday, June 5th. His communication and professionalism was great and what I expected when I first initiated our business engagement. I inquired about Cory Boehmer and I was told he was no longer with the company. If he shows up at your project after the dates listed above it shows what type of company you are working with.
