Our plumber recommended EcoDry for our demolition/drying process after a burst water pipe. Lucas came out to do the estimate and get things started; he was punctual, courteous, and incredibly helpful with getting a claim started with our insurance company. We're so grateful to him! The crew that arrived the next morning (David, Keeran, and Jose) were absolutely amazing. They worked efficiently, safely, and quickly but not hurriedly to start they drying process for our kitchen, living room, hallway, and dining room. Their knowledge of water damage was impressive; they aren't simply cleaning and drying, they really do know a lot about the entire plumbing situation. What could have been a nightmare was actually not bad at all--they cleaned as they went, and were meticulous in every step of their work. I was particularly touched with how kind they were to take the extra steps to seal off their dusty work area with plastic, floor to ceiling, because of the baby in the house. As they finished, they spent over two hours cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and taping off rough edges of the floor. They even taped off the wall edges just to make sure the baby didn't hurt herself (and she's not even walking yet). They stayed as long as necessary, sending photos to our insurance company, making 100% certain that the job they did was exactly what was needed. The timing of our pipe break was less than ideal, as we have family coming to town for the baby's first birthday--David and his crew went out of their way to do everything they could to leave the site as clean and safe as possible for us; their thoughtfulness and professionalism makes me confident to recommend them to anyone in need of water damage services. read more

I would not use Summit Plumbing Pros, or Eco Dry. It all started when I had a plumbing leak from the upstairs shower. I called 1st American Home Warranty and started a 100.00 claim. Summit Plumbing Pros had a tech that came out and said he advised we call Eco Dry to come out and scan for the leak, so that dry wall could be cut to identify leak. Free service and estimate is what I was told. Eco Dry showed up in less than 30 minutes, scanned & taped off the area that would need to be cut out. Instead of the plumber cutting out and fixing same day, or within same week I got taken down a path to use Eco Dry for their services. I caught the leak right away, so there was no damage, but long story short Eco Dry only bills homeowner insurance, so after another 1,000.00 for that deductible and two months later plumber shows up for a third time with part saying it can't be fixed telling 1st American it was part of the shower pan and my claim got denied. Originally 1st American was going to manage everything accept the paint after restoration. I was only out 100.00. Next thing I know I'm getting a 5,600 bill from Eco Dry saying I had to pay it if my home owners insurance doesn't cover it. I was looking at being out a possible 6,700.00. My home owners insurance ended up negotiating with Eco Dry and all I ended up being on the hook for was the 1,000 deductible along with the 100.00 deductible from 1st American. I requested a second opinion from another plumber and he said due to the fact that Summit wrote it up as part of the shower pan there was nothing he could say more and 1st American again denied my claim. I ended up going to a plumbing supply house myself and the 1st one I stopped at had at least a dozen of the gasket's on the shelf. I purchased one for 20.00 and fixed myself in less than 10 minutes. I have not had a leak and was able to do it myself. Second opinion plumber agreed gasket was part of the piping connection and not the shower pan. My shower pan is just a fiberglass pan with a hole in it. You can google easy enough to identify the gasket is not part of the shower pan. I wouldn't be surprised if this plumber deferred to Summit leadership on how he should proceed with this claim. If he didn't I still blame Summit Plumbing as a whole for not managing their service call correctly. I'm a 20 year Elec. contractor, so understand process and wouldn't have even taken this to Insurance, but I thought if I can get it all done for 100.00 might as well. I was without a shower for over two months in my master bath and out 1,100.00 and was able to fix the leak for 20.00 myself. I would not use this Plumbing contractor, or Eco Dry, nor would I recommend to anyone! On a side note Eco Dry was professional, but I did not receive a free quote and 5,600 seems a bit excessive for less than a 8 hour days worth of work 4 guys. I take partial responsibility as I did not request the contract via email to review & signed on the spot with explanation of what I was signing. Ultimately Eco Dry only bills homeowners insurance and very expensive. read more

They were suggested by J and L plumbing to remove water damage. After getting several quotes , I decided against using them. I feel they recommended excessive work to be demolished. They claimed it was contaminated and need to be tented off. As it turned out , it was a very slow leak from angle drop under the kitchen sink. Clean water ! Not contaminated. They were going to do excessive demo, not needed. The company hired cut out a small portion of drywall under the sink. Removing wet wood or drywall . Drying everything out. Minimal demo. So beware of these companies that will overcharge. Get multiple quotes!! read more

They sent a gentleman out to assess the problem, and when I mentioned my water damage coverage, he wisely suggested I contact my water insurance provider. I reached out for over a week -- first receiving empty promises of a call back, and now no response at all. While the actual service I received--from project management to the demo and delivery teams--was excellent, the experience with the billing department has been incredibly frustrating. I had my service completed months ago and have been trying to pay the remaining balance ever since. Despite leaving over 50 calls and follow-ups, I have not received a single call back from their billing team. It's baffling that a customer who is actively trying to pay is met with complete silence. I'm genuinely stressed, worried this will go to collections, and yet there seems to be no urgency or care on their end. You would think a company would want to be paid for their work. Beware, EcoDry has a funny way of evaluating old water damage and characterizing it as an emergency that needs to be dealt with asap. First, your trusted home maintenance people will call their guy at Ecodry claiming water damage AFTER running the water in your shower to help justify EcoDrys readings. The guy from EcoDry even asked "did Alex run the water?" And I confirmed he had. All involved will swear to you that you won't have to pay a thing because they're so kind enough to offer waiving your deductible. They'll even file the claim for you because it's advised not to speak directly with insurance "because they're just going to low-ball the cost for repair". Now we're stuck with a partially demoed shower floor and surprise!!! A bill for $10k because their partner, the Senior Plumbing Specialist at SimplyAir, hasn't submitted a report to the very insurer they're making the claim to, which has now been denied based on the adjusters report. Even the adjuster who came after the work had started warned us how this fraud would go down, advising us there would be a hyper inflated bill, predicting that our maintenance guy from SimplyAir would be getting a kickback. The adjuster told us he knew all about EcoDry and their scam to get people to negotiate lower bills saying he had seen hundreds of these cases. The invoice/bill they sent with convenient options to pay the demanded $10k states WE called them saying damage had occured a week earlier. LIES, it was the inside guy at SimplyAir name Alexander Meyers who called 'his guy' telling him there was a cracked drain pipe (which is what he told us) that caused the damage and it was he who insisted to his buddy this was urgent because in his professional opinion this looked like it happened within the past week or so. We were clear with the adjuster who came to inspect what they had done before authorization about timeframe the damage occured, informing him that it was the senior Plumbing Specialist from SimplyAir who was insisting the damage was recent, despite not having used the shower for over a year, which in hindsight explains why he would then run the shower to validate EcoDrys readings. read more

I'll go days in a row calling the rep and going through every option you can select on their office line and won't get a response. this is my first experience w eco-dry the plumber came out to fix the garbage disposal. He referred me to eco-dry they were out here in one hour and Tucker is the guy who guided me through the whole process of filing a claim and they had his team come out the next morning and set up the dryers and fans and they took care of the problem and he told me it would be till about 5 o'clock that day it only was till 130 is great. BEWARE of eco dry. We had a broken shower valve which was repaired by a plumber and recommended us to eco dry for the water damage inside our walls. They came out and did some moisture testing and made holes in our walls for asbestos testing. They mentioned to us not to speak with our insurance at all and they would handle everything. I'm ok with the company speaking to the insurance for my behalf but I would still want to be in the loop so that was a little weird. After doing some research and seeing the bad reviews we were a little worried so we decided to go with a different company. When we called eco dry back to cancel they told us we would owe them $1850 for the testing. $1850 is outrageous just to take some pictures and put holes in my wall for asbestos testing which we still haven't gotten a copy of the results. Rocky Mountain restoration came out and when we decided to go with them they immediately placed dehumidifiers in our rooms which eco dry never even did. Be careful when you are being recommended to this company. read more

We recently used this company when we had a leak and needed a service and they were pretty quick to come out - I will give them that...service was alright, and the tech who came out wasn't the nicest, but we had to have another company come out. Pricing was okay. That left an iffy taste in my mouth. Well, I had another "run in" with this company and whoever was driving on the 51, to the I-10, to the 202 south in truck 11 on Friday 10/3/2025 needs to be fired. Not only was he erratically driving, cutting people off, tailgating, but almost caused an accident with me and another person by cutting me off on the HOV lane during rush hour. read more

Unfortunately, I had a water leak, but so thankful my plumber recommended Ecodry for the restoration. I was so happy with Brandon and Bobby, the team assigned to do my demo. Their attention to detail, knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness was such a blessing to me going through this. I have allergies and asthma and they went above and beyond to keep any smells in the restoration area from moving into the rest of my house to a minimum. They were very thorough, answered all my questions, and left it spotless when they finished. This is why my plumber recommended them, he said Ecodry does great work and their work is clean. Jenn was more than knowledgeable about the process and the fact that they'd have to do asbestos containment (my townhouse was built in the early 70s). They were able to answer all my questions and help us figure out the leak was my neighbor. They even helped contact the owner next door to get their leak fixed so her team could dry out my home to start repairs. I'm so grateful to have her team and EcoDry handle our emergency. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are inconsiderate and work with you to schedule times or respect a scheduled times, the employees are disrespectful in your house, they do not respond to communication, and do not take responsibility for any additional damages they cause. A plumber came to look for a leak. He said there was water damage on our kitchen wall and we'll need to have a mitigation company come in and he recommended EcoDry Restoration. The company came and assessed the damage and said they would set up a time to come back. They came back set everything up for drying the wall. The plumber said he needed more access and they said they would set up a time to return. They didn't schedule a time, and showed up at 8 AM the next morning unannounced. They had then said a team would come by the next day at 12 pm - 2 pm for the next part of the demo. We had waited at that time frame and no one showed up. Two guys came by at around 4:45 pm and they looked at the sink and said they had to go to Home Depot for wood to hold up the granite countertop. They left shortly after saying they'd be back in 15 minutes as there are two Home Depots near our home 5 minutes away. We waited until 5:30 pm and I gave a call to the dispatch number and explained all of the inconveniences we had with the lack of scheduling, that the guys they sent over disappeared, and that we had plans to go out for dinner and can't wait all night for them. He said he would take care of it and we get a call after that from the two guys saying that they had to go to another Home Depot because the entire wood area was closed at the first Home Depot which to us is unbelievable as we go to these Home Depot's a lot and they said they can be back in 5 minutes which was not alright with us as we had dinner plans so we told them that we have to reschedule for the next day. They showed up the next day and while they were working they were very rude and disrespectful. They made a lot of noise like yelling and banging to get our dogs to start barking and then they would immediately laugh at that, and one gentleman sneezed very loudly and the other guy laughed really loud in reaction. They seemed to be messing around with each other while they were working. Once they were done and left we had noticed they had broken a tile and our insurance adjuster refuses to fix it as it's not a covered damage. The restoration company which was recommended by EcoDry and are part of the same parent company will not work with EcoDry to work out repairs for our tile and was trying to get the insurance to cover it, and EcoDry will not respond to any communication and take responsibility for the damage they have caused in our house. It's been over a month, our kitchen still hasn't been repaired because we want to make sure our flooring also is taken care of and we're not ignored like we already have been. read more
