    Rachel P.

Our plumber recommended EcoDry for our demolition/drying process after a burst water pipe. Lucas came out to do the estimate and get things started; he was punctual, courteous, and incredibly helpful with getting a claim started with our insurance company. We're so grateful to him! The crew that arrived the next morning (David, Keeran, and Jose) were absolutely amazing. They worked efficiently, safely, and quickly but not hurriedly to start they drying process for our kitchen, living room, hallway, and dining room. Their knowledge of water damage was impressive; they aren't simply cleaning and drying, they really do know a lot about the entire plumbing situation. What could have been a nightmare was actually not bad at all--they cleaned as they went, and were meticulous in every step of their work. I was particularly touched with how kind they were to take the extra steps to seal off their dusty work area with plastic, floor to ceiling, because of the baby in the house. As they finished, they spent over two hours cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and taping off rough edges of the floor. They even taped off the wall edges just to make sure the baby didn't hurt herself (and she's not even walking yet). They stayed as long as necessary, sending photos to our insurance company, making 100% certain that the job they did was exactly what was needed. The timing of our pipe break was less than ideal, as we have family coming to town for the baby's first birthday--David and his crew went out of their way to do everything they could to leave the site as clean and safe as possible for us; their thoughtfulness and professionalism makes me confident to recommend them to anyone in need of water damage services.

"I had a leak in my kitchen and called my insurance company right away. They sent a gentleman out to assess the problem, and when I mentioned my water damage coverage, he wisely suggested I contact my water insurance provider. I did, and within minutes, a gentleman called me back to get things started. I worked with Mikey from EcoDry, and he was wonderful. The next day, they were out to fix the leak. Once that was done, the following day they returned to tear down the affected drywall and kick off the restoration. Before touching the cabinets, they put up a tarp to contain the dust and mess in the kitchen area. They were incredibly kind and gentle when removing my appliances--the cabinets and countertops were carefully relocated, and they set up fans to dry everything out thoroughly. They showed up on time, every time, as promised. Everything went exceptionally well; they were professional, kind, and even had a great sense of humor to keep things light. They explained each step clearly, so I always knew what was happening and how the process would unfold. I even left my house key with them to lock up while I attended an appointment--they cleaned up the kitchen spotlessly afterward and secured the place. I highly recommend EcoDry--they made a tough situation feel manageable and stress-free."

We learned the hard way that many companies make big promises just to win your business. In our case, we had over $500,000 in fire and water damage, and it seemed like everyone else was more concerned about their profit margins than helping us. Some even tried to play games with the insurance company by requesting payment for items that weren't warranted. ASAP Restoration was completely different. They were honest, upfront, and transparent from day one. They took the time to review every budget, selection, and step of the process with us, making sure we understood everything along the way. The entire team is outstanding, and Josh, the owner, truly leads by example. He tells it like it is, doesn't overpromise, and works tirelessly to make sure things get done the right way. His communication is second to none,I'd much rather have someone who over-communicates than leaves me wondering what's happening. Our biggest delay wasn't ASAP at all, it was our mortgage company and lender taking their time to release funds. Throughout that entire process, Josh worked alongside us every step of the way, helping us navigate the challenges and keeping the project moving whenever possible. The finished product looks incredible, and looking back, the extra few weeks it took to get on their schedule was absolutely worth the wait. If you're looking for a restoration company that values honesty, quality, communication, and truly cares about its customers, I can't recommend ASAP Restoration and Construction enough. Thank you to Josh and the entire team for making a difficult situation so much easier!

What an industry! I was up north with my family for the weekend and came home to standing water…read morethroughout the first floor of my house. My first call was to a plumber for help. Before the plumber even arrived, three different restoration companies showed up at my door. The strange part? I never called any of them and nobody told me anyone was coming out. I did overhear one of the technicians I allowed in for a "free evaluation" on speakerphone with the plumber asking if a $2,000 finder's fee sounded reasonable. I kept my mouth shut but it definitely raised some red flags. I listened to all three companies separately and then decided to do some serious research online. While some companies have plenty of glowing Google reviews, once you start looking at other sources like Yelp, the Arizona ROC, and the BBB, the picture can look very different. Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, take a breath, do your research, and call a company that focuses on integrity and quality work. For me, that company was ASAP Restoration.

My husband and I recently bought our first home, and while trying to complete some minor upgrades, we discovered mold. We immediately panicked, assuming the absolute worst. After reading their excellent reviews, I decided to give them a call--and I am so glad I did. Everyone who came out to our house was incredible, friendly, and deeply professional. They made an incredibly stressful situation completely painless, and they treated our home as if it were their own. One important tip for future customers: This company focuses strictly on remediation, meaning they do not handle the reconstruction or repairs (like replacing drywall) once the mold is gone. This wasn't an issue for me--I simply called around and found a local contractor to patch things up afterward--but it's important to go in with the right expectations and always ask questions! The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. He was incredibly sympathetic to our situation and reassured us that he would remove as little material as possible while keeping the home safe and thorough. We immediately knew we were in good hands. A few days later, Ruben and Ivan completed the work. They were punctual, efficient, and surprisingly quiet. Not only did they finish on time, but they also managed to save an entire wall and our builder shelves. Because they saved the wall, Ruben actually adjusted our final invoice down to reflect the lower material removal--a massive financial relief for first-time homebuyers. Ruben took extensive photos, walked me through the containment zone to explain their findings, and even returned the next day to walk my husband through the exact same breakdown so we were both fully informed. The final report they provided was incredibly thorough, detailing every single step with photographic evidence. My husband can be very picky about contracted work, and even he was completely impressed and had zero critiques. We were so incredibly stressed, and the calm presence and expertise this team brought into our home was invaluable. After a separate, highly disappointing experience with a different local plumbing company just days prior, "Good Time" completely restored our faith in local businesses. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

After obtaining quotes from several other companies, Stan's hourly rate seemed competitive and he also had a few 5-star reviews on Yelp. After reviewing them, it seems people have hated him for simple small jobs. When I submitted the request through Yelp, I submitted pictures and provided a detailed description of what was needed: installation of door hardware on cabinets, a TV stand, and a chest of drawers, assembly and installation of a fandelier, adjustments on my dishwasher and refrigerator, and relocation of an electrical outlet. After submitting the Yelp request, Stan contacted me through Yelp and we scheduled a phone conversation where I explained everything to him. He stated what his hourly rate was. On Monday October 16, 2023 I text messaged Stan to ask how many hours he thought it would take to complete all the work and he replied with, "A few hours." On Wednesday October 18, 2023 Stan arrived at my house at approximately 10am with just a drill in his hand. He stated that he needed to go back to his truck to get more tools. I'm not quite sure why he didn't arrive with his tools ready to go, other than to milk the clock and drive up the cost. I showed Stan the kitchen and explained what needed to be done. I also had him install a knob on a dummy "drawer" by my kitchen sink. Now, on my kitchen cabinets, the owner had installed knobs, so one hole was already drilled. All Stan needed to do was measure 6" from that hole, drill, and install the pull. With the hinges, those holes were already drilled and he just needed to install a soft close hinge over the exising one. Other companies I obtained quotes from said this work would take them 1-2 hours. I work from home so I left the door unlocked for him and went upstairs to get back to work. About 90 min. later I went downstairs to check on him, thinking he'd be almost done. When I went downstairs I saw Stan was only about halfway done and several of the pulls were crooked. I also saw his tools laid out right on top of my granite, not on a towel or drop cloth. I did not see a level, template, tape measure, or blue tape displayed and it seemed he was just eye-balling things. I pointed out the crooked handles to him and he tried to say that it was because of the shadow. I ran upstairs to grab my level and showed him that several were WAY off. How do you show up to someone's house and drill permanent holes into their expensive cabinets and not measure or use a level to make sure things are straight?! I find that to be highly unprofessional! --It gets worse-- A little before 1pm, he still wasn't done (after three hours) and he said he had to leave and pick up his son and would be back in about an hour. About 75 min later he arrived back and got back to work and finished the kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets at around 4pm. Yep, 5 HOURS TO INSTALL PULLS AND HINGES and more than half the work was already done for him! Not to mention, he said ALL the work would take a few hours and he didn't even get to the other 7 things on the list. HE ALSO CHARGED ME FOR THE TIME IT TOOK HIM TO CORRECT HIS MISTAKES! I find this to be an extremely poor business practice and highly unprofessional. Additionally, THE KNOB ON THE DUMMY DRAWER IS NOT CENTERED because he didn't measure anything and it looks awful. Lastly, one of the kitchen cabinet doors doesn't shut and is way higher than the one next to it. Several of the kitchen cabinet doors are not level and he told me he would level everything. How do you level something when you show up without a level? He also left a huge mess for me to clean up, saw dust was everywhere and he said he'd clean up. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and do not recommend this business at all. I attempted to work this out with Stan and he offered no reasonable resolution. I have to hire another handyman to fix his work and complete the rest of the work that he didn't get to. He purposely milked the clock as 5 hours to install cabinet pulls is a complete and total rip off. Plus he charged me to fix his mistakes, which is not right. He is not equipped for this type of work and was grossly unprepared not having basic tools like a level, a tape measure, and blue tape to mark things. His response below is full of a bunch of inaccurate info and mistruths.
