Nick is a great guy. Walked through all the options and fair and easy negotiation on system replacement. His employee broke plastic hose splitter that was really close to the outdoor unit and he ordered a replacement on the spot. Didn't hide it. I then had Nick out to replace the blower motor on another unit. Something I could have done myself (3x slower), but was leaving for a work trip and needed same day service. Nick was able to replace it same day at a fair price on a rush. The next time I used the furnace, it was blowing cold. I'm sure Nick would have come out to discover the error and not charged me, but I noticed one wire wasn't connected and Nick confirmed over text and the phone this was the issue. Our AC suddenly stopped working in the middle of a super hot Sacramento evening. I had company visiting from out of state with a newborn baby! The next morning (it was a FRIDAY!) I searched for an AC company. I called the first few local companies I could find, only to get a no answer. Fortunately, I found DAS, they answered my call on the first try and managed to get me a same day appointment in the afternoon. Tech came out and managed to do a quick fix on the motor but said I needed a new motor fan. It was 4th of JULY weekend and tomorrow was a Saturday . I was really counting on the quick-fix to hold me over the weekend. It didn't. The quick-fix stopped working an hour later. I called the company back and informed him. He managed to send someone the next morning morning (Saturday) on 4th of July weekend to install a new motor fan! This speaks a lot for a Company. He truly cared about our AC issue and state. The only downside was having to pay for the quick-fix. I do think it was a bit much, considering it only worked for an hour. Overall, I am extremely grateful and happy with their service!! They come and fixed AC. Stated motor might go out, didn't have it fixed, and it went out few days later. Usually use a family friend's AC company but they couldn't come next day. DAS had good reviews so went with them. If need to use another company outside of family friends company then DAS is my first company I'll call. read more
