I ended up having gum line issues/bleeding/ and color mismatch from my prior crowns and 3 years after the procedure I ended up back in Dr. Michaelson's office. Once I decided to move forward with my crown revision, he was very honest and straightforward with how I could best achieve the look I wanted, what my future with the crowns looked like, and timeline. They were also up front and transparent with pricing. Even though they are on the higher end price wise, the lab they used did an amazing job to match the color and it has now been over a year and my teeth have held up nicely. I was also very nervous for how long the temporaries needed to be on because of how bad temps have been in the past but these temporaries were not bad at all. For general dental visits: all of my cleanings were awesome/pain free and you could tell that they knew how to be careful with maintaining integrity of any dental work. Only experience that I feel like could be improved upon was X-Ray process. I have never been that uncomfortable from just getting dental images but they also got the most in depth photos I've ever had done so that could be why. Lastly, they always tried to accommodate my schedule and fit me in when they could. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Michaelson and his team. If I did not move I would still be going for my annual exams and any additional work.

I recognize most of the staff but there are some new ones here. All of them are friendly though. They are gentle and ask if you feel any pain throughout the processes. It never feels rushed even when they have a lot going on but I also don't ask tons of questions so not sure. lol bbbuuuttt they have been great here so I'll continue coming for myself and my family.

Staff insisted he needed a deep cleaning requiring two additional appointments, quoting $1,400 and invalidating the original plan. We proceeded, assuming the $300 plan would still cover basic preventive care later, as no expiration was mentioned. However, when my son tried to make an appointment in 2026, the office stated the plan had "expired" and was valid for one year from time of purchase and would no longer be honored, despite my payment in 2024 for that specific benefit and the lack of prior notice about expiration. This feels like a deceptive practice. Furthermore, my husband, also a patient, was told he needed a tooth removed. A second opinion from an oral surgeon revealed this was unnecessary. Beyond these issues, the receptionist, who identified herself as the "office manager," needs excessive customer service retraining. Front-facing roles aren't suitable for everyone

They wanted to do an X-ray and exam, which I declined since I had one done just a few months ago. I also declined an exam and asked only for a cleaning. When it was time to pay, I noticed charges for an exam, X-rays, and cleaning. I told the front desk I only received a cleaning, and she checked with the dentist. He claimed he had done an exam -- but he was the one who cleaned my teeth himself, and there was no separate exam performed. I'm disappointed because I was charged for a service I clearly declined and didn't receive. Patients deserve honesty and transparency in billing. Always review your statement carefully before paying.

Due to the Rona', when you arrive you call the number on the easel that's outside their door and wait in your car. The most we waited was 10 minutes. I have an infant and he was the patient, so they kept us in a separate room from the rest of the patients. Dr. Arias and her team, were very kind & explained everything in detail about my sons oral motor concerns. She listen to me, asked me about feeding concerns, latch issues & you name it. I didn't know what to expect as we were there to see if my son needed to get his lip and tongue tie reversal, oddly enough it was done that same day. To watch it as a parent was difficult, but hello it needed to be done and she's done it to numerous people. The procedure did take a bit longer but that was due to my son locking his jaw and clamping down on the poor nurses fingers, he at the time was 8.5 weeks old. Post procedure, she goes over the different exercises that she wants you to do with your child to stretch out the lip and the tongue. Then she schedules you for your appointments, a few days after, a week after, week and a half, & then finally the two week. But I really like that she sent me pictures of what my sons mouth looked like before and after. Not only that but she gave me her personal cell phone number and told me to call her if I had any concerns. I didn't call her but she did text message me a few times and we exchanged messages back-and-forth. To me that's an excellent Doctor Who really cares about her patients. Infant patients are allowed to have two companions in office, all other patients (if a minor) are allowed one. If an adult you're on your own.

I had paperwork to fill out. I the office provided complimentary drinks in the lobby. After my paperwork work was completed I was able to go to the back to get a full scan of my mouth. It was in 3D with color. I was a bit skeptical because of my experience at sage dental but they said not to worry. After going over some of my goals for my smile I felt so relaxed. The dentist understood everything and answered all of my questions. After that I got to relax and watch my show on Netflix because they had TVs mounted on the ceiling while you get your cleaning done. Now the cleaning was such a peaceful moment. She cleaned my teeth with so much care. There were three flavors of toothpaste for the cleaning. I got to try the cinnamon and one other.
