The place is a joke. I took a Dodge Caravan in for a paint job about 3 years ago to prepare minivan to sell. They did a great job. I just recently took my Honda Odyssey van in (I'm wanting to keep it) and paid extra for the polyurethane coating. First paint job had bubbles...waited a month and they repainted it. If anything touches it, there are scratches. I thought the polyurethane coating was a paint protectant. My van is really messed up paintwise. I've lost $695 and will need to take to a professional paint shop to get it back to the way it was. Also, the man behind the counter made me sign a piece of paper noting that I was "extremely" satisfied with the paint job before he would give me my car keys. My advice to you...if you want to keep your car, save up your money and have it professionally painted...less headaches. read more

I was in a car accident about a year ago and needed to replace the bumper and taillight on my 2013 Honda Accord. I went to a few places in Delray Beach and the estimates were 1200 dollars, at the least! Frustrated, I kept the damages as it was purely cosmetic. I went to Arnst Ocean Automotive to service my car and was referred here by them. I popped into Econo on a Thursday and showed them my damage and received an estimate of 800 dollars. I was ecstatic, thinking I wouldn't find anywhere that would fix my car for less than 1000. The next day, Friday, they took my car and I informed them I needed it done by Monday evening as I commute to college. I called Monday morning to check on the status of my vehicle and Dave still had it finished as promised that afternoon even though he had to order another taillight due to mine being LED. I am extremely impressed and satisfied. Not only was the price excellent, but the service and speed was, as well. My car came out beautifully and I am not ashamed of it anymore. My car looks brand new! Thank you so much to Dave and everyone at Econo! A great family business with great prices. My Car was put in the shop to be fixed body & paint job! It tuck longer than 5 days to fix nearly 2 weeks and still was not fixed correctly! They removed headlights & then didn't want to replace the new headlight. Then parts where missing from the removal of my headlights. Didn't inform me of the damage that was found ahead of time & contact the insurance company to give me a better outlook of the damage! I may never go back there again because I was not happy with the overall finish work!!! read more

I was referred here about two years ago to turn my ugly duckling 14 year old car into a swan. I was not looking or expecting a $2000 paint job as there was no need. For under $700, they removed my dings and rust, and put a shiny new coat on. I was thrilled. When there were a couple of rust areas that showed up in the door jams and rocker panel months later, Dave and Kevin, the owners of this family business, happily had their staff remove the rust and repaint the areas free of charge. This was an Economy paint job for a very old model car. It was not perfect, but it was very good. Fast forward to March 2015. My old swan has gone down the road, and I am now driving a 2012 Honda Accord. After playing bumper cars once too often, I brought this car in. This is my baby and I wanted it to look factory new again. They removed both bumpers, repaired my gouges and misshapen plastic, and applied a beautiful coat of fresh black factory matched paint. The bumpers went back on and they're practically flawless! There is just a little buffing needed in a couple of spots they will do once the paint hardens. Cost? $300. Thrilled! I called early Thursday to find out if Econo could "buff out an abrasion on the rear fender of my rental car". I was told they were booked until Monday. Unfortunately, I'm from out of town and my flight was leaving Saturday. I was told to bring it in so they could look at it - perhaps they could do something before Monday. I brought it in and the nicest guy ever (perhaps it was Dave?) looked at it, and before I knew it, he hand-buffed it!! It looks much better now and I doubt the rental car company will notice anything at all (which will be wonderful since I believe the fender was actually damaged before I even rented it last Monday). Anyway, I highly (HIGHLY!!!) recommend Econo because of their honesty and caring service. Being a woman, all too often car repair places take advantage of us ... but not Econo!!! Oh!!! The price?? I brought in my car for a paint job, it came out looking like someone took a can of spray paint to it. They covered everything in a coat of high gloss, the bumpers, trim, etc. They ruined all the matte/gloss detail of the car. The employee at the front desk agreed to fix it. Paid $900 for a paint job that looks HORRIBLE .... i dont know what they did or what their procedure is .... but after putting it up on a lift right after it was painted it has drip marks everywhere .... they missed the clear coating on areas ..... the side skirts have no paint under them ..... its a $299 at best ...... the car looked better before it was painted ..... the owner Dave i spoke with.... he didnt sound very concerned and i honestly wouldnt let them touch the car again ...base/clear is what they said ..... the car is a mess .... he should concentrate on his craftsmanship a his business and inspection / quality control is lacking ..... this would never be acceptable at any other legit business of this kind read more
