Ok I think Other raters have been pretty tough on this place. You have to keep in mind it's the cheapest place in the area! Considering the relative price point this place is a solid 3 stars! My room was clean and well kept. The breakfast they provided was adequate and similar to other low priced hotels. This certainly isn't the Ritz and it doesn't cost as much either! At first glance, it's pretty run down. At second glance, it's disgusting. The room looked like it had barely been wiped down let alone cleaned. The only thing that seemed to be clean was the bed sheets and towels...thank god. The floor was sticky and the shower was orange, there was a very questionable grime build up on the little washcloth bar. There was no water pressure and the it smelled terrible. The fridge would not get cold enough to safely store any food. all of the caulking and grout in the bathroom were horrendous. Overall, the price for this was not worth it unless you're in a pinch. I wouldn't leave a bad review if it had cost $70 but it was more than double that for one night. read more

We booked for two nights about 3 months ago as we would be there for a wedding Oct 5. as there were not many options in the area. The pictures online seemed like they had done renovations so it lined up with the rates of $175 per night. However this hotel is in desperate need of an overhaul. When we pulled up it looked abandoned. The property was beat down and pretty distressed but there were cars in front. I proceeded to go and check in. The lobby smelled really bad of mold and pungent cooking. The walls and floor were dirty and the logo rug looked like it has been there for 10 years. The young woman at the desk was very friendly though. She was quick to get us processed. We drove around back to get in to the hallway. Again the entry floors were nasty. Hopes the hallway would be better but it wasn't. The smell was still present. The room was below average for the rate. Not entirely clean. Same with the bathroom. The bed was made and appeared to be relatively new. Linens were also pretty clean. The door to from porch had serious signs of damage. The deadbolt lock was not operational as the wood was missing were the bolt extends and the handle was extremely loose. We spent one night and did not stay for night two. A few of us ended up staying with my parents at a different hotel and a few onsite at the wedding venue as there were no rooms available this weekend. Their policy is no refunds and I went through Priceline so I am sure this will not be say to get any money back. DO NOT STAY HERE. Better off sleeping in your car! read more

We were stuck last minute for a place to stay. This was all we could find in the area in a pinch. It was completely filthy and disgusting. Curtains not covering the windows, gross bathroom, rusty coat hanger on the hallway floor along with so much dirt and other debris everywhere--inside, outside. LONG REVIEW BUT IMPORTANT***When I originally arrived with my son, we checked in and there was great hospitality! However, when we checked into room 107 we checked through out the room and what we found was: broken TV, and over head light was out completely. I was about to change when my son happened to be checking out the door and noticed the peep hole was backwards!!!! Its a good thing I didn't change my clothes!! Also, my son looked in the fridge and there was breastmilk in it!! Clearly the room was not properly cleaned. After all of those things were found, we brought it to their attention-- especially the peep hole-- and they brushed it off!! They just moved us to a different room. The next morning when my son went to take a shower in our new room there was no water pressure and when we brought that to their attention, the lady at the front desk went around the corner and told someone, then came back and told us we were complaining. Then said "let's go check the room". We followed her to the room and when we got there, there was a man with tools exiting the bathroom out of the back door of the room. The lady then tried to gaslight us into thinking the shower worked the whole time!! Even when we had video of it not working earlier!! She then told me that I was doing nothing but complaining about both rooms and that after today my son and I were not welcome back to the establishment any longer. I asked, understandably, for at least a partial refund and at first they denied, but I insisted. They told me that they could do nothing for me there and that I needed to call a number that I'd have to look up on the website. So, I looked it up, and called the number and spoke to a very rude man who listened to me explain my concerns and I wasnt even through, when he just hung up. I gave it some time and called back 4 1/2 hours later to check in on the progress of things, and he said "he's working on it". So then HE called 2 hour later and said " you will be getting a 25% refund of $35" then proceeded to hang up, without any agreement or finalization. Out of curiosity I checked my bank account and found a CHARGE of $35 instead of a REFUND of $35 as promised. I called back, explained the situation and was immediately told I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about. He said "I will call you back" then proceeded to hang up on me once again. 2 hours later he called and stated that he sent a receipt proving that he issued a refund. It was a typed up document that made zero sense. I told him I could provide proof that money was withdrawn from my account but he declined and instead resorted to mentioning his country and lifestyle and calling me racist. I adamantly replied that this has absolutely nothing to do with their country or anything of the sort!! He also told me he "didn't need any of my money---not even a dollar." He told me that I did not understand the way money works. At this point I completely changed my tune and asked for a FULL refund of $139.00. I advised him that I expected the FULL refund in the next 3 days or I would consider the possibility of a civil suit. (***remember- there was a backwards peep hole , and breast milk in the fridge, which means there were children in the room before us***) The man seemed unphased and said he is a simple man from a small country and he can handle anything, then hung up AGAIN. So now we wait 3 days. And we cross our fingers for a refund. I reported the backwards peephole to the police. They are aware. And I'm going to the BBB next. Over all--DO NOT GO HERE, safety is lacking. And you could be called racist and belittled, and told you are not welcome back if you make a complaint about your room. This place is a dump. Trash and debris, abandoned toilets outside. Smoking, cigarette smoke in the entire hallway. My door didn't close properly. A high woman was smoking cigarettes outside in the back parking lot (which was scary and sketchy) she was taking to herself and flailing her arms (totally high). The room itself was ok. Decent size. Updated compared to the dumpy look of the hallway and outside Water pressure and temp were very poor. People cleaning the rooms and front desk were not wearing masks. When I came to check in there was no one at the desk. A child finally came and got an adult. We stayed because we were attending a concert at the nearby Bank of NH pavilion. So, it was too late to drive 2+ hours home. I checked out early because it was so gross. When I went to leave, once again no one at the desk. I left my key with a note saying I was checking out. This was a place to sleep and that's it. We barely even got to sleep. Between the FIVE fire alarms that went off in the morning, couldn't find the time to shut our eyes. Do not stay here. We needed an inexpensive hotel near a concert venue and chose this place. Big mistake. It's rundown, unclean and does not smell good. At 1 a.m. we had to call the police after calls to the desk went unanswered. There was loud banging, crashing, yelling and crying coming from the room upstairs. We thought someone was being beaten. It was frightening and unnerving as we had two teenage children with us. We were told the couple was having relationship issues. In the morning when we spoke to staff, we were given many excuses and clearly they don't care what happens on their property. Finally, we were given 25% of our money back. Do yourself a huge favor and just spend a few extra dollars to stay somewhere else. read more

This place was not as described. Front desk woman couldn't answer questions because of the language barrier. The lobby and hallways smelled like a musty basement. Shabby carpeting and the pool wasn't functional because there was about 6 inches of water in it. When we first checked in our room smelled ok, musty but clean. When we returned later on from our concert walking to our room it smelled like backed up sewage and upon opening our door we realized it was coming from our room. No one to call about it. It was past midnite and the parking lot was full with a few guys hanging out around what we hoped were their vehicles. They stood out there talking loud enough so we could hear them until the wee hours of morning. Nothing was as advertised. We paid $170 for a room with a king bed and very old shabby furniture. the bathroom sink basin had a crack in it. I've never seen anything like this place. We really had no other option but to stay there. Choice hotel corp should really monitor these places. read more

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great restaurant attached, what more do you need when you are staying here to sleep. Nothing overly extravagant in the rooms but it is a lot nicer than some places you can stay at! My new go to place when I'm working in the area. I understand this is an EconoLodge and not a 5 star resort but for $122 I was expecting a little bit more. When I arrived to check in there was no one in sight until a kid, and I mean a young kid came around front. Several minutes later the front desk clerk came around...I really had to use the bathroom at this point so I asked if there was one I could use while she processed my check in...she merely pointed around the corner then seemed put off when I couldn't find it. The rooms, while not dirty, were dingy and uninviting...again not expecting high end amenities but a little paint in some areas could go a long way. The place could definitely use a major renovation...easily the worst place I have ever stayed in. read more

My Wifes sister was visiting and needed a place to stay and decided to stay here. Immediately she knew she messed up. It could possibly be the worse hotel we have ever visited. Everything is either broken or dirty. It's amazing it's even legal and allowed to be open. Front desk speaks maybe two words of English. She invited us over to see the room and use the pool with her. The non english speaking lady started yelling at us saying we needed to pay 10 dollars to use the pool. We have never had that problem at any other hotel in the area. To top it all off when they got home they had bed bugs and still cant get rid of them. STAT AWAY AT ALL COST. You're better off camping on the side of the highway than staying here. read more

We stayed at the Econo Lodge in Tilton, NH on 8/1/20. We checked in late at around 9:00pm. The check in process was normal and we were notified that there was breakfast from 7-10 and it was a sort of take out bag. We were directed to rear of the hotel and noticed there were fallen trees on the hill above the hotel with a large one hanging menacingly over the parking lot and near the entrance. The lights on the outside of the door we entered each flickered on and off. When we entered the room we noticed that the pillows on the bed were long and hung over the sides and were obviously made for a king-size bed (we had a queen-sized bed) and this was not very comfortable. The rest of the evening went fine but it was in the morning that the real issues began. When we attempted to take showers before checking out, we noticed that the cold water faucet had a different handle attached which did not match the others. It came right off in our hand !!! We attempted to adjust the water temperature using it but it was impossible as the water was either cold or hot with no middle ground. We cleaned up as best as we could and wanted coffee. There was only one package of caffeinated coffee and one of decaf...ugh! Also, the hair dryer in the bathroom did not work!!! We left the room at 9:45 to grab breakfast. When we got to the room is was supposed to be in, there was nothing!!! Luckily a staff member saw us (probably the one who removed all breakfast too early) and brought us two paper bags. In each bag was some sort of tiny cold egg and cheese sandwich in a plastic package (which looked gross and un-edible) , a granola bar, a small yogurt, two tiny chocolate cookies and a tiny bottle of water. We totally understand restrictions from Covid-19, but it was a very unappealing breakfast. At this point, we leave the rear of the building to go and check out. We find an overflowing trash bin outside and what looks like a large cardboard package of chicken broth sitting on one of the rooms air conditioners. We explain our issues with the front desk manager (the same person who checked us in the previous night) and handed him the incorrect shower knob. He did not apologize or offer any type of refund (partial or full) and blamed us for not contacted him that morning about the issue (which he obviously knew about but didn't bother to have fixed!!!) He stated that the breakfast was out when we were there which was an obvious lie! And when told about the coffee, he stated that coffee was available downstairs 24 hours, but he never told us that when checking in. He was extremely rude and confrontational. When you pay $200 for a room, you expect things to work and courteous service. We received neither during our stay!! This was a horrible experience and we will never stay in an Econo Lodge again! read more

I was here for the last weekend of bike week with 8 friends, My boyfriend booked this and when i looked it up the reviews were scary! I was so happy when i got there! room was great, bed was comfy, parking was easy even with 6 bikes and my car, every time the owner saw us outside he asked if we needed anyhing and was great. We will be staying here again next year. My only complaint is with the restaurant - We went here thinking it would be quick and convenient. ........ there was probably a total of 15 people in the place and our group was 9 of them. ....took over an hour to get our food!!! my boyfriend got the lobster pie which looked great but was GROSS!!!! my shrimp scampi was the worst meal I ever had ,had to send it back. frozen seafood that was ovecooked and just rubber. just ate bread because i wasnt waiting any longer. And the woman (assuming manager) must have been training a new waitress (who was nice) was so disrespectful and rude to the waitress (who did nothing wrong) that it was gross, felt so bad for her and really wanted to smack the manager. read more

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in...absolutely disgusting. We were vising for a concert, so needed a place to crash overnight. This was the cheapest hotel in the area, at $200! When we pulled up, we thought it wouldn't be so bad, but then we were told to drive around back to park...which looked nothing like the front...sketchy af. When we got to our room, it reeked of cigarettes (supposed to be a non-smoking room). None of the appliances were plugged in, the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, the bedding and chairs were stained, and it just felt damp in the room. There were also flies and gnats flying around and landing on us in our sleep. To top it all off, the fire alarm went off FOUR TIMES between 7:30AM and 9:30AM. When I went to turn my key in, I had planned on complaining to management, but there was no one to be found at the front desk. Some girl just came up and told me to leave my card there. I can't believe these people have the audacity to charge so much to stay in a DUMP. The pictures on the site are definitely deceiving. Stay away! read more

This is thr worst "hotel" experience I have ever had. After confirming on th4e phone when making the reservation and being assured cancelation was by 4:00 pm day of stay, when checking in at 3:00 p.m. the hotel was so appaling we tried to cancel and told we could not. The ordor of curry was so overpowering in the lobby it made our eyes water. When we asked to see the room the woman behind the desk was hesitant and when she did show us the room it took our brath away it was so bad. She refused to cancel, but finanlly called the manager, who was off site to tell her we did not want to stay. The manager said the cancellation policy was 48 hour prior and when I said that's not what the man on the phone said, she did not elieve me. After much going back and forth, whe finally agreed to cancel one of the two nights we had reserved. But the woman at the desk had already charged our card for two nights, and did not know how to do a refund. So the manager said she would be there in half an hour or she would do the refund in the morning. I would have to trust her. When I asked for my room key, another young woman asked if I would be staying in the room that night. When I told her I didn't know for sure, she would would give me the key. Even though she had over $500 on my credit card. I told her we would stay one night and she gave me the key. The room was filthy dirty. When wiping up water I spilled while manuvering my suitcase and the dog into the room, the towel came away black from the dirt on the floor. The bathroom smelled like urine and mold. I'm sure the shower liner had not been washed for months, maybe years. Not a sliver of soap or a drop of shampoo. When checking out in the morning, again there was an issue to get the refund but eventually, after more calls to the offsite manager, a refund for one night was given. I asked for a copy of my folio and told no. Get one from the web. When I asked for a copy of the folio she was working from, a man came out and became very beligerent saying that copy was his and I could not have it. I said I understood that and I was asking for a photocopy. Again he became very degrading, calling me "dear" and telling me I didn't understand how things worked. After the refund, I still paid $300 for one night in this deplorable hovel, and he still would not give me a copy of my folio. The woman behind the desk did not speak much English and did not understand what an itemized bill was. When I turned to leave, this man, who never identified himself, literally started yelling at me and say "Good! Go! You Go!" The woman behind the desk didn't know how to conduct simple front desk tasks, the manager was not on site and didn't have anyone available on site that could help, and the man that yelled at me was just ugly and nasty. The hotel is old, falling down, filthy dirty, and poorly run. The employees are all unbelievably rude, and don't understand the simple fact the the customer deserves a clean room and curteous treatment. The regional manager needs to make a visit and shut this place down. Run from here, it is a nightmare. read more

Wost hotel I have ever stayed at. I'm disabled and need to use wheelchair and I had to stay in our room because it wasn't handicap accessible. Their "nice" game room consisted of a 100 year old pool table. Their "continental breakfast was disgusting. The tub/shower combo had been cleaned in awhile, so my wife had to go to hannafords to get cleaning supplies. They were going to cancel our reservations because we had our 3lb dog with us, bit instead they charged us $25 per night non-refundable fee plus a$100 deposit and was told she had to be with us at all times, but then was told they had to stay in the room while we were out of our room. It's called hospitality, not hostility. Rooms: Cons: There's a broken outlet that's being used. It was a non-smoking room that smelled like ax body spray and cigarettes, and the wiring on a lamp had been sliced and taped over. Pros: no one got bed bugs. Staff: Now, I've used my employee discount a variety of times over the last two years and I've never once been asked for the hotel code, and because of the work I do, I've never needed this number, so I didn't know it. Expectation - General Manger (GM): I'm sorry, but because of the increase of fraud, and that you don't know your number, I need to verify you work for a Choice Hotel. Can I call them and check? Reality - (GM): Why don't you know your code? If you were an employee of the hotel, you'd know your hotel code. There's some back and forth, I get the code, but by this point the GM was convinced I was lying and continued to go on about fraud and that people were selling employee discounts in an accusatory tone. It got tense and frustrating, and my patience was wearing thin. This is also the point where they say they can't give me the employee rate for the second room because an employee wasn't staying in the room. I would later discover this was 100% NOT true, but at that moment was feeling attacked so I responded as minimally as possible as we just wanted to check in, eat, and go to sleep. They changed the rate for the second room without telling me what the new rate was, claimed the printer was not working, and asked that I come back in the morning to sign for the charges. I didn't actually see the new rate until I was leaving, and it was nearing quadruple the original rate I booked. It took two months, but eventually I got a refund of the difference, and not because they came to their senses and called to verify I worked for a Choice Hotel, but because I called Choice Hotels, and they were forced to give a refund. The staff was rude, self righteous, disorganized, and straight up accused a guest, a guest who works for a Choice Hotel chain, of fraud. I'm amazed they're still in business. read more

This place needs to be shut down. The pool appears as though it has not been cleaned in months. the room has an odor that is not tolerable. The sheets and comforters appear to be dirty. Decided to see if we could grab a room last minute instead of driving home on the bike late at night. I called and the woman said they do have a room for 145 but would only hold it for the 15 mins it would take us to get there. We flew and made it to find no one at the desk. Finally after ringing the bell 3 times a woman came out no bra in a t shirt and sweat pants from the back, I let her know i has just called on the phone and was told a room was ready for 145. She laughed and said no i did not tell you 145 i said 190 very rudely... May i mind you it was almost 1130pm and we were checking out first thing. She took off 20 dollars. We finally got into the room which was dirty but we figured we would give it a shot. Come to find out each time we went to the bathroom we needed to manually lift the back of the toilet open and make it flush. We attempted to watch tv for a bit however the remote did not work. My boyfriend got up to use the bathroom around 2am to step right into a huge water puddle the toilet over flowed and ran all the way out and around the bed by the clothes and everything. I called the same lady at the front desk who was only concerned if we had cleaned it so it did not leak down to the room below. I said yes she came in at almost 3 with towels and put them down i asked several times for another room but she said none were open. She used all of our bathroom towels with some of theirs and made us a walking path on the wet floor so we were able to still get up for the bathroom. She didn't even try and fix the toilet which we had to keep manually flushing and said sorry guys and left. We went down to ask if there was a vending machine because we could not fall back asleep she said yes down the hall. When we got there it was plugged in but not working. To be blunt it was not even worth paying to stay the night. I asked for a refund or for something to be done about the service and she just simply said no I am sorry. Horrible experience read more

We arrived and were looking for a quiet place to stay for a wedding we were attending the next morning. We requested a quiet room and were told that we were given the quietest room in the building;a room that needed to be entered from the back or up a flight of stairs from the lobby. As it turns out the room was far from quiet as people entered the door right next to our room all hours of the night. Cars revved their engines in the parking lot and bar patrons were less than quiet when leaving the establishment. If I could rate this place 0 I would! Checked in 10/6/17 (yes as I wrote this review) the woman at the front desk looked like she didn't know what she was doing. Got to our room (126) you could smell mold as soon as you walked in. Took a look around and found black mold on the bathroom ceiling. I wish I took pictures! My husband called the front desk spoke with a male I think he was the owner. My husband explained his dissatisfaction and we'd like to be moved to another room. It has been a long day traveling and we just wanted to go to bed. The desk clerk told my husband it wasn't his f'ng problem how long we drove and he has no other rooms. We could stay or leave but he was charging us for the night. We grabs our bags and headed for the front desk. By this time it's 9:45pm the lobby still had guest so my husband asked for the manager. It was the same male he spoke with minutes ago. He told my husband he should have some respect for other guests...really! He didn't want us in his hotel because of my husband "abusive" language (my husband swore back at him in the phone before we went to the desk). Made us call Expedia to call them to cancel the reservation. Expedia apologized over and over and canceled everything. They also told the hotel not to charge us the one night. 1/2hr after we left they charged our card, not once but twice! Thankfully our cc company refused the charges. This review is on the restaurant only ; as I did not venture into the Inn ! The Winni Grill is located at this property but I can not find them on YELP ; my mother, father and my 4 year old were looking for somewhere to eat on 11-10-15 ; there are many local restaurants in the area - however, we wanted to try somewhere new ! Honestly surprised that this place is not packed / with a line after trying the food ! We got the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer / it was delish ! Served with small pieces of bread and toast - spinach artichoke dip is a mainstay on many app menus ; sometimes I find it too heavy / this was perfect not too heavy and not watery but had a great consistency ; my father, myself and my daughter all got burgers / what a value for your dollar ( they were huge / filling and phenomenal ) My mother got stuffed mushrooms as a meal and stated " these are the best stuffed mushrooms I have ever had " ( on a side note my mother loves stuffed mushrooms so has tried them just about everywhere in the lakes region ) This will definitely be a place that we visit more often as the food was fantastic / the service great and the atmosphere pleasant read more

We went to The Economic Lodge to use the pool. We were told the price was $12 per person, which is $5 more per person than our usual pool but the woman at the desk said it was 80 degrees and newly renovated so we wanted to give it a try. Upon entering the Pool room, another family was leaving very angry and we soon learned why. It was disgusting. We went back to the desk and asked for our money back. The woman said "That family wanted their money back too, but the manager just told me 'No refunds'" We decided to make the best of it since we were told they were keeping our money so we tried to swim but it so cold and appalling we could barely stomach being in there for more than 15 minutes. We were told the pool heater wasn't working properly. (Another reason why we should have been given a refund) Again we were told by the woman at the front desk that her manager said we could not have our money back. When we were leaving we asked the woman at the front desk for the manager's name, she said she was the manager. Below we have numbered descriptions of the photos we took. (The photos of the pool room are NOTHING like the photos uploaded by the staff to this website) Photo descriptions 1) Bathroom with no lighting in the shower area 2, 3 & 4) Dirty bathroom sink 5) No lighting in only bathroom stall and almost out of toilet paper with no refills anywhere in the bathroom 6) Disgusting dirty bathroom floors which we didn't dare to take our shoes off on 7) Disgusting pool room floor with dirt in grout 8) No sufficient lighting giving the room a creepy vibe 9) 2 wide open creepy areas with pipes on the floor 10) close up of the gross floor 11) filth everywhere, random disgusting platform in the center of the room 12) Huge bug on the floor near pool. When we told the maintenance man about it, he picked it up with his bare hands and continued to stand there and talk to us holding the bug. 13, 14, 16, 17, 19 & 21) dirt ALL OVER the pool floor. In some places it was even floating in the water 15) wires sticking out of the walls in multiple places 18) dismal creepy lighting in the pool room 20) creepy signs telling you you're being watched while you're swimming 22) this is a supposedly newly renovated pool 23) open pipes show something dripping into the water. 24) The "sophisticated" system used to hold up the emergency lighting. 25 & 26) random areas in the pool room where there is no floor 27) the type of chairs provided to sit in 28) brown stuff smeared all over the shower walls 29) the trash was empty, BUT so was the paper towel dispenser. 30 & 31) under the bathroom sink (we were looking for paper towels) and the stiff dirty towel that had been bundled up in front of the worst part of the stained wall. 32) yet another leak of who knows what into the pool read more

I will never stay here again. If they would refund me I would leave now! The customer service is awful, the rooms have a weird smell, my towels were stained. I was charged extra when using the pool and was told my 12 year old nephew who was hanging out with me could not use a hotel towel because he is Not a paying guest. Last time I checked a 12 year old cannot rent a hotel room! This place does not know the definition of customer service. They clearly do not care about their paying customers nor do they care of their customers come back to stay with them again. I could handle the kids running up and down the hall and yelling, rough housing until 2am in the room next to me, the front desk didn't seem to care about my complaint at all or the fact that I wasn't able to sleep. The bed is completely broken down the middle, the tiles and the bathroom in general, are completely falling apart. There is mold in the shower, not to mention the blow dryer is broken. Take some pride In the rooms that you provide for your guests. This is terrible. read more

The worst service I have ever received in my life. I'm 25 years old, and do a lot of traveling! It's a passion of mine. So I am used to and familiar with many hotels, motels, Air Bnbs, and all their rules/ guidelines/ conditions. I reserved this hotel for two nights to enjoy a Fourth of July getaway with a couple of my friends. I had only been checked in for about 5 hours before the rude calls from the front desk began. In these calls I was told to shut off my music immediately and to stop making noise or I would get kicked out. Not to mention that they would hang up the phone when they were done speaking so I wouldn't have a chance to say a word! I go downstairs to try and have a simple conversation with the front desk because the calls were very rude and unprofessional, but I am automatically met with the same rudeness from the phone calls. I was told that they had received "a bunch" of noise complaints, but I was so confused because my room was at one end of the hotel where there was only two other rooms! I knew it couldn't be possible, so I asked why I couldn't have some music playing in the background while my friends and I play card games, but he could have children behind the desk screaming and yelling and jumping around. He then became even rider!He proceeded to give me problems because I had "to many people in my room". But at the same time we were speaking, there was a huge family in the hallway figuring out there sleeping arrangements, because there was to many people and not enough room.. (I was not the only person who heard the family speaking.) & it just gets worse! The front desk staff then begins to point his finger at my friend and I as he speaks. Very kindly I ask him to stop pointing at me because it is disrespectful. He refused. So my friend speaks up and tells the man to please stop pointing because he had already been asked to, and because it was really offensive. The man then has the nerve to look and point, back and forth at my friend and I and say "I'm already doing it" and chuckle. Knowing myself and my temper, I had to walk away before things became really escalated. I immediately told my friends about the conversation and how disrespectful and unprofessional this customer service was. We all felt personally attacked and did not want to stay in a hotel with such a rude and disrespectful environment. By this time it's about 11PM, myself and my friends are trying to look for available hotels in the area for two nights. Like I said before, it was the Fourth of July weekend, so you can only imagine how difficult it was to find an available hotel. We were lucky enough to find a place about half an hour away. My friends and I had already paid for our two night stay here, but then had to pay for a whole other room at another hotel. All because of this one rude representative of the hotel and his unwelcoming environment . How is this fair? When my friends and I packed our car and prepared to leave, I walked back to the front desk to return the room keys and explain how upset, disappointed and disrespected I feel. Just by walking in the door, the man immediately picked up the phone and said he was calling the police! I hadn't even said A WORD to him, and he was already calling the police! I explained to him the situation and how my friends and I felt unwanted, targeted, and scared. He didn't care. I explained to him that pointing his finger at his guest and refusing to stop was belittling, unprofessional and felt very racist. He didn't care. I explained how I was going to write a review expressing my experience, and he didn't care. The man didn't care about anything or his "guests". Needless to say, when I began walking out he hung up the phone! He was just trying to "scare" me the whole time. Again, just look at that terrible customer service! I will never be back, and I will continue to tell my story and write reviews so people can know how this place is really run. I plan on disputing the charge that was put on my card for two nights, because I was basically pushed out of there, and because the type of service I received was disgusting. I have never been more disgusted in my entire life. We went out to the Walmart down the road to buy our own bedding, that's how gross it was. We asked for towels around two in the afternoon by four thirty we had to ask again. They still wouldn't give us any, after demanding because we needed to shower for an event we were attending, they offered towels with stains. What does that mean!?! She then stated she could give pool towels only. What kind of hotel is this? The shower didn't look clean at all, and the drain also didn't work. We wore our flip flops to shower that's how bad it was. They had holes in the walls, and have painted in random places. I don't think behind the bed has been cleaned in 20 years. They had vents above the bed held by twist ties and one on the side wall. Very creepy. I would not suggest this place at all. The entire place smells like chlorine and the carpet was missing sections and visual stains. Need significant updates and photos are incredibly misleading!! Staff incredibly rude and not helpful at all. Checking out was a joke. Literally a basket, no humans to be seen and ignore staring to leave your keys. Terribly run and managed. read more

First I would like to say that there was a dirty washcloth in the bathtub, I did take a washcloth and washed the tub with soap and water. Luckily had Lysol spray with me.the bathroom smelled like cigarettes and the ceiling had big water stains and paint hanging from the ceiling. read more
