The worst service I have ever received in my life. I'm 25 years old, and do a lot of traveling! It's a passion of mine. So I am used to and familiar with many hotels, motels, Air Bnbs, and all their rules/ guidelines/ conditions. I reserved this hotel for two nights to enjoy a Fourth of July getaway with a couple of my friends. I had only been checked in for about 5 hours before the rude calls from the front desk began. In these calls I was told to shut off my music immediately and to stop making noise or I would get kicked out. Not to mention that they would hang up the phone when they were done speaking so I wouldn't have a chance to say a word! I go downstairs to try and have a simple conversation with the front desk because the calls were very rude and unprofessional, but I am automatically met with the same rudeness from the phone calls. I was told that they had received "a bunch" of noise complaints, but I was so confused because my room was at one end of the hotel where there was only two other rooms! I knew it couldn't be possible, so I asked why I couldn't have some music playing in the background while my friends and I play card games, but he could have children behind the desk screaming and yelling and jumping around. He then became even rider!He proceeded to give me problems because I had "to many people in my room". But at the same time we were speaking, there was a huge family in the hallway figuring out there sleeping arrangements, because there was to many people and not enough room.. (I was not the only person who heard the family speaking.) & it just gets worse! The front desk staff then begins to point his finger at my friend and I as he speaks. Very kindly I ask him to stop pointing at me because it is disrespectful. He refused. So my friend speaks up and tells the man to please stop pointing because he had already been asked to, and because it was really offensive. The man then has the nerve to look and point, back and forth at my friend and I and say "I'm already doing it" and chuckle. Knowing myself and my temper, I had to walk away before things became really escalated. I immediately told my friends about the conversation and how disrespectful and unprofessional this customer service was. We all felt personally attacked and did not want to stay in a hotel with such a rude and disrespectful environment. By this time it's about 11PM, myself and my friends are trying to look for available hotels in the area for two nights. Like I said before, it was the Fourth of July weekend, so you can only imagine how difficult it was to find an available hotel. We were lucky enough to find a place about half an hour away. My friends and I had already paid for our two night stay here, but then had to pay for a whole other room at another hotel. All because of this one rude representative of the hotel and his unwelcoming environment . How is this fair? When my friends and I packed our car and prepared to leave, I walked back to the front desk to return the room keys and explain how upset, disappointed and disrespected I feel. Just by walking in the door, the man immediately picked up the phone and said he was calling the police! I hadn't even said A WORD to him, and he was already calling the police! I explained to him the situation and how my friends and I felt unwanted, targeted, and scared. He didn't care. I explained to him that pointing his finger at his guest and refusing to stop was belittling, unprofessional and felt very racist. He didn't care. I explained how I was going to write a review expressing my experience, and he didn't care. The man didn't care about anything or his "guests". Needless to say, when I began walking out he hung up the phone! He was just trying to "scare" me the whole time. Again, just look at that terrible customer service! I will never be back, and I will continue to tell my story and write reviews so people can know how this place is really run. I plan on disputing the charge that was put on my card for two nights, because I was basically pushed out of there, and because the type of service I received was disgusting. And not to mention, but I was only in the room for about 6/7 hours total. If I could give this establishment a negative number review, I would. read more
