    Sinking Pavers

The company did a lot of work at my house, and now the front yard wires have gone bad, and one of the step pavers is sinking into the ground. I tried to figure out how to replace the wire and found out they did not put a conduit. The only way to fix the wires is to lift the whole turf. they are more expensive than other contractors, and I was not expecting they would cut corners like that. I contacted them about the sinking paver, which was ignored.

Bret and the crew did an amazing job on our backyard. The team was super clean and organized. Each evening after they were done for the day their work space was picked up, tools were organized, it was refreshing to see that all the guys that came to work at my house treated it like it was theirs. Bid was inline with other contractors but from my experience no other company would have been able to top the service or quality of work.

A big Thank You to Ecoworkz! These guys are great, very professional, on time, kept the work area clean, worked as a team, and are very hard workers. The project came out better than expected and everyone loves the new look. The pavers gave my patio area 3 times the useable area and is great for entertaining. If you need any paver work done, give Ecoworkz a call. They are very busy and I can see why, they do great work! Thanks Again Ecoworkz! John

If I could give negative stars I would. The contractor shows up to pick up his deposit check. Then you never see him again. He texts to give the progress payments to his so called foreman. The workers they hire are inept. They don't know masonry. They were hired to build a block wall. It looks so bad that I have to either paint it or stucco it. They went into our tool storage and used OUR tools to do their work. The workers damaged our property in several areas and they denied it. They never finished the job. Contractor is 'out of town' and is always surprised that his workers are not getting work done. A job that should have taken two weeks, took a month. The work is substandard but the prices are not. The contractor does not supply facilities for their workers, so who knows where they do their business. The contracts they have you sign has legalize that tries to intimidate a homeowner and it means nothing.

I came home to check on the progress and the only two workers were napping on my front lawn, one in a wheelbarrow.

Very dissatisfied with the quality. Layout was incorrect, installation had to be fixed 3 times, could not source the material that was listed in their contract, installed lumpy substrate to the synthetic turf, seaming of the synthetic turf is visible, damaged a newly installed front door threshold, ponding at the patio pavers, etc... I was told by Tom that "labor and their craftmanship is hard to find in the current economy." I have finally written a review as I am continually disappointed with the quality of their work every time I arrive home.

She doesn't know it's not real grass!

When the drought started, we did our part and conserved...we even turned off the water to the yard. Now part of me kind of wishes we hadn't since the Yorba Linda Water District didn't make enough money this year and now will be tripling everyone's' bills to make up for it but I digress! My point is our backyard was a mess and with El Nino coming plus a brand new puppy that EATS dirt, we had to do something. So we consulted Yelp and called a bunch of places to come out for bids. Ecoworkz Synthetic Grass is who we went with and they did a gorgeous job. They saved our surviving tree, routing one pipe of our drip system to it, then covered it with industrial grade artificial turf and laid pavers down one side of the grass along our fence to close a gap that we had. They expertly cut around our air conditioning unit, covering up an area where dogs seem to like digging and they removed a stepping stone between our two patios which didn't make sense anyway. The results are amazing. Our yard looks fantastic and my little Frankie as well as her best dog friend Bo (big black lab) have lounged around on the grass for hours, played like they've never played in a yard before and gone potty on it (which was really easy to clean up based on the thickness of the grass since it just sits right on top). The price was very reasonable too. We received an estimate from a company that rhymes with Bindoll-Fit-Correct and they initially were $2,200+ OVER what we paid with Ecoworkz and they weren't going to do the paver work! We couldn't be happier that we went with Ecoworkz. 5 stars for them and they are Woohoo! As good as it gets!.

Ecoworkz Inc. absolutely killed it on our backyard renovation. For two years, we struggled with the uneven dirt, weeds, sharp pokies that would get stuck in your feet and just an overall sad backyard that had so much potential. Well @Ecoworkz Inc. finally brought our vision of a beautiful, useful backyard to life. They hooked us up with top of the line turf, a new area where we can create our own firepit oasis, and a concrete pad where we can add a gazebo, outdoor bbq area and a place for comfortable seating and mingling. THANK YOU for the literal smoothest process getting this done. Timely, Reliable, professional and very responsive. Amazing workers who went above and beyond and amazing owners who really took the time to listen to us and bring our vision to life while making sure everything was perfect. The work and the outcome of the whole project itself is top of the line quality. everything looks clean and polished. The true definition of outstanding customer service. We couldn't possibly be HAPPIER with how everything turned out. If you're in the market for some renovations and upgrades, Look no further. The guys at Ecoworkz Inc. will make your dreams a reality!

Ecoworkz did an amazing job in our backyard. Our pavers and grass turned out beautiful. The crew worked quickly and proficiently. Tom was professional and easy to work with. The grass holds up wonderfully to our two dogs.

However, when I first met Mr. Lee and started discussing the project, I just knew that he was the one to hire due to his confidence and expertise in his field. I felt a strong sense that he wasn't out to get me, but rather to honestly help me and rebuild the wall with budget in mind. I chose Lee's over two other previous bids, and I am very glad I did. On day one of the demolition phase, foreman Augustine and his awesome crew just blew my mind at how efficient, precise and hard working they were. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed and felt at ease, knowing that I was definitely in good hands. Within a week, I had a beautiful brand new retaining wall built better than ever. Equally impressive was Joyce at the office making sure I was never left hanging with questions or concerns. All my queries were handled in a timely manner. For anyone looking for concrete/brick contractor, I highly recommend Lee's Concrete.

This was my very first time hiring anybody to do any sort of landscaping work. I was ignorant going…read moreinto it so I had to lean heavily into the landscapers expertise on what would be best for what I wanted to achieve. After getting a few quotes, I chose Lee's Concrete because he impressed me the most with the ideas he presented, not being pushy or sales-y, while also staying competitive price wise. He is also officially licensed for concrete. The project started around May 2025, and completed towards the end of July 2025. It consisted of concrete pouring, artificial turf installation, irrigation routing and laying out gravel/river rocks in planting areas. Also, a 2D layout diagram was provided for me to submit to HOA for approval. Below is a list of critiques ranked starting with my biggest letdowns: #1) WEEDS. Not via the concrete, but the artificial turf that was laid out. Lee offered artificial turf installs during my contractor search. My main reason for getting artificial turf was to have little-to-no maintenance. But, mines constantly has weeds growing out of the edges due the gap in the ends not being sealed. My next door neighbor had artificial turf installed by another landscaper and never has any weeds growing out of the edges ever. They had theirs installed after mine. Maybe it was my fault for not communicating that need initially. But at the same time, I thought having artificial turf laid out and it preventing weed growth on the edges would be a given. #2) Blotchy concrete coloring on front yard. My backyard's concrete coloring was pretty consistent and I was very happy with how it turned out. But my front yard was very blotchy and inconsistent. I was told that this is normal and will take about a year to cure and to give it time. Another reason was for differing "pH levels" for the area where the concrete was laid. Well... a year has passed and it has kind of improved here and there, but not so much in other parts. So, I'm a little hesitant to believe it that is actually the reason. It doesn't make sense to me that all the concrete laid out in my entire neighborhood doesn't look as bad as how it looks on my driveway. Structurally, it's fine. But it is a bit of an eye-sore looking at it every time I'm in my front yard. #3) I felt like I spent more time than I needed to checking for imperfections. A main one was my vinyl fence and cinder block wall getting dirty from the concrete pours. Another big one was the cinder block retaining wall in my backyard not being symmetrical on the edges. I had to call it out a few times to even get it fixed. Once it was finally fixed, my vinyl fence had residue from the cinderblock wall fix. By that time, I had gotten fatigue from having to constantly call out imperfections and let that one go. #4) You don't really know when the landscapers will come out to do the work. If I remember correctly, they would come out most weekdays. But, you wouldn't know if they would show up the next day or not. Not too big of a deal honestly. I'm more picky about this because I like to keep the side gate to my backyard locked and not knowing when to unlock it in the morning was just a tiny annoyance. I ended up just unlocking it first thing in the morning and locking it in the evening every weekday. Overall, I'd rate the project a 3 or 3.5 out of 5 - which I think is a very fair assessment. I'm relatively happy how it looks at the end. But there were a few bumps along the way which is why I cannot give a 5 out of 5. It pains me to write the above critiques and not be able to give the highest rating because Lee and the rest of his team were all very nice people. But there definitely could've have been improvements for the entire project.

I told him I wanted my backyard done like my front yard. The ledger stone in front is just the way I wanted it. So he had it right there to use as an example. The first day, his workers only used the large stones; they didn't integrate the smaller stones. Robert came out and we AGAIN explained what he wanted. Placement should be random. The second day I came home to perfectly uniform lines. One row of large stones, one row of smaller, one of large, one of small. (I added a photo to the gallery) After I kicked his guys off the job, he called and couldn't understand my issue. I told him to come look at it, but he obviously didn't want to. He just kept arguing, saying he didn't understand. Then he told me that I didn't understand that the pallets of stone were layered in how they were supposed to used. I may be picky, but I'm not stupid. Oh, I almost forgot. His original quote raised by almost $2,000 when he came to work the first day. He said it was because I made a change in wanting capstone surrounding doors instead of ledger stone. Why, I don't know - when putting of large pieces of stone, 8" x 18", seems easier and faster than smaller ledger stone.
