I wanted to share some feedback about my recent visit in hopes it can be helpful for improving the experience for future guests. I ordered a burger without cheese, but unfortunately, it came with cheese, which I couldn't eat. I chose not to send it back because I didn't want to waste food, and then throw it away and make me another for their mistake. However it did leave me unable to enjoy my meal. Additionally, there was some confusion regarding the bill. About 20 minutes after receiving our food, a staff member approached to add an extra charge, explaining that something was initially missed. 20 minutes AFTER?!!!! While I understand mistakes happen, it felt uncomfortable and unexpected, especially as the explanation didn't seem to add up. We paid what their mistake was, but I was embarrassed for that young man. Lastly, I overheard staff discussions near the kitchen about this situation, which added to the awkwardness. I truly enjoy supporting local restaurants and appreciate the hard work that goes into running them, but this experience fell short of expectations. The food at Eddie's Grill is good, but unfortunately, it's not a reliable business. On 7/13/25, I arrived at 9:10 PM to place an order through the drive-thru, only to be told they were no longer taking orders due to having only two people working, despite their posted closing time being 10:00 PM. This isn't the first time I've experienced this issue. It's unclear whether the owner is consistently understaffing the place or if employees are choosing to stop service early, but either way, it's frustrating. Consider this before making the drive, there's a real chance they may not serve you, even if you arrive well before closing time. read more
