This past weekend, my aunt did a catering order from there, wings. I picked up the wings. Everyone was very nice and helpful but when I got back to the house and I was putting them on the dish, they were the driest looking wings I have ever seen and my aunt lives like 30 minutes away from the restaurant. we had to get my other aunt to pick up some sauce. They were very nice about it but the fact that we had to do that was a little annoying. considering it was a catering food once we added the sauce that they gave us. I've always been one to taste my steak and if it doesn't have flavor, I drown it in A1 Sauce. But, that wasn't the case at The Crossing Bar and Grill, I ordered their ribeye medium-rare and it was cooked to perfection. I also added sauteed onions and mushrooms, which we cooked beautifully. I asked for a bottle of A1 just in case, but never used it. I ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were insanely good. Unfortunately It's possible I did go an off day and did not try any of their other offerings that day. Their ribeye steak meal is also one of my favorite dinners. The wait staff is always polite and helpful even when they're understaffed. The restaurant is clean and inviting. They offered to comp the fish and replace it with a free Philly cheesesteak. since my wife was almost finished with her meal we opted to take the cheesesteak home. The bill came, the bill was over $55 because they didnt honor the gift card and didn't comp the cheesesteak. After some discussion with the manager with the server as a go between (manager must be a coward) we settled for $23 + a tip for my wife's meal and our drinks. We ordered the mushroom appetizer and steak that is smothered in bleu cheese. Our server was prompt and friendly. She brought out some warm bread and soft butter that was delicious! We started by ordering a bottle of wine. The wrong wine arrived and when I pointed it out, she took it away to get the correct bottle. She came back with the same wine telling me "this is the one you ordered". I showed her the menu and pointed with my finger to the one I ordered. She reluctantly took it away. She said nothing about the full plate of food. I had French dip which tasted great. However, it was served with fries on a small plate and the au jus came in a ramekin on the side. It was messy to dip and eat. I don't know why it couldn't come on their bigger plate so the ramekin too was on the plate. The au jus got spilled and when I told the waitress "we had a bit of an accident" she didn't offer to help or bring a cloth. My husband fetched a pile of napkins and we dealt with it ourselves.
