I've always been one to taste my steak and if it doesn't have flavor, I drown it in A1 Sauce. But, that wasn't the case at The Crossing Bar and Grill, I ordered their ribeye medium-rare and it was cooked to perfection. I also added sauteed onions and mushrooms, which we cooked beautifully. I asked for a bottle of A1 just in case, but never used it. I ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were insanely good. I love The Crossings diverse menu of food, drinks and desserts. My favorite is their fried zucchini sticks and angry peach chicken wings with house ranch. Their ribeye steak meal is also one of my favorite dinners. The wait staff is always polite and helpful even when they're understaffed. The restaurant is clean and inviting. I love the old family pictures and old Yuma Valley pictures. I was upset to see that they had to change their Black Friday sale from 50 to 40% but I still bought my family gift cards. read more

The medium burger was beyond well done. Returned it and shared my wife's meatloaf and mashed potatoes, which they took it upon themselves to bring fries instead. They did give us a $15 gift card to cover the cost of a $17 Burger. Went, against my better judgmen, again last night. Fish tasted like disinfectant, returned it. They offered to comp the fish and replace it with a free Philly cheesesteak. since my wife was almost finished with her meal we opted to take the cheesesteak home. The bill came, the bill was over $55 because they didnt honor the gift card and didn't comp the cheesesteak. After some discussion with the manager with the server as a go between (manager must be a coward) we settled for $23 + a tip for my wife's meal and our drinks. We started by ordering a bottle of wine. The wrong wine arrived and when I pointed it out, she took it away to get the correct bottle. She came back with the same wine telling me "this is the one you ordered". I showed her the menu and pointed with my finger to the one I ordered. She reluctantly took it away. She said nothing about the full plate of food. I had French dip which tasted great. However, it was served with fries on a small plate and the au jus came in a ramekin on the side. It was messy to dip and eat. I don't know why it couldn't come on their bigger plate so the ramekin too was on the plate. The au jus got spilled and when I told the waitress "we had a bit of an accident" she didn't offer to help or bring a cloth. My husband fetched a pile of napkins and we dealt with it ourselves. Went on google search for the crossing yuma az. Went to menu and called in order as per menu at this site. When I went to pu order the item I ordered was $5 more than listed. When I brought to manager's attention, Jennifer Zimmerman, she said that google puts out that menu and they have nothing to do with what they post. I asked why they don't correct it. She says their site is-crossingcatering.com- I said I felt the price should be adjusted. She said they don't honor that site. I refused the order at which point she said she could give me a discount, which is what I was requesting to begin with. I guess she wanted to point out I was wrong and she was right. Obviously she had to be right instead of making the customer happy so as to keep a repeat customer. We go there for birthday lunches but I personally will discourage going there anymore. I asked for owner and she said he was not avail. After I left I called to see when owner would be there and was told he does not have a schedule and they had no idea when he would be there. As a manager I would think customer satisfaction would be of importance. I guess no because being right was more important. read more
