Flex casual restaurant with something for everyone and SUPER friendly staff. We went on Saturday January 22, 2022 for dinner and upon pulling up, we noticed the drive thru and were kind of confused because Yelp didn't say this was a fast food restaurant. Then we saw that it's for order pickup, which is a cool idea to limit traffic in the restaurant. When we entered, there were a bunch of people inside and I heard one patron tell the staff, "That was great." The ordering experience was good, you basically walk up to the counter and place your order, they give you a number and you sit down. I ordered a salad that came in a fried tortilla bowl and my boyfriend ordered a sandwich that came with a huge helping of garlic fries. The fries were awesome as he was kind enough to let me try some. If it were me I'd keep them all to myself. Haha. The salad was good but a little on the bland side, probably because of the modifications I made. The fried tortilla, which I told myself I wasn't going to eat, was really good, especially with the sour cream and some of the salad on it. The only thing is I was their 12 vegetable soup was vegetarian. It's made with beef and chicken stock and I wish it was with a vegetable stock instead. While I've had plenty of meals here in the past that are worthy of 5 stars, tonight's grilled chicken with lemon caper sauce just didn't cut it. The rest of my family's meal was good! My husband got his usual club sandwich and my son just eats the fries. But the grilled chicken was a little gristle-y and a lot fatty, and was just not anything to write home about. So many dining options to choose from. Everything we ordered was delicious. We stopped here on our way to California so it was a bit of a drive into town from the freeway but totally worth it. 4 had the burgers and 1 had the half tuna and vegetable soup. read more

Locals know this, but for the newcomers, come straight in, look at the menu on the pole, you'll see it by the register, order and pay. Then sit down. I had a huge salad and it was delicious! They have one of those coke machines where you can choose like 100 drinks. Hub had a giant burger, I got his tomatoes. We sat in the restaurant and talked for a couple of hours, the food came to us hot, and so tasty. The guys got fries, they said it was really good. We'd all be back. When I travel, I like to try local establishments. Eddie's seemed like a cute, welcoming place. It was hopping. Ordering was a little chaotic- I guess I came at just the wrong time. A large table got just in front of me and they took a while. Counter staff was very friendly and my chicken salad came out quickly. I didn't feel rushed. Ordered a salad here and was thankful to find it wasn't all iceberg lettuce and tasteless or wilty toppings. Toppings were plentiful and delicious, and the salad was nice and fresh. There was an adequate amout of dressing provided with the take out order, and the dressing was also tasty. The only thing that made me anxious was the small, crowded lobby. I realize the amount of space in any establishment can't always be altered for covid, but there were lots of people in a pretty small space. read more

Thinking I was gonna have a good dinner on Friday night ,we called in an order for pick up and it was not worth the high price we paid for it, our pasta Was dry and tasted like it had been sitting there for a while before it was serve , the portion was so small not worth the price at all and the chicken had good flavor but it was so dry, my bf ordered a burger and it was overpriced and dry , no flavor and the fries were so cold. This is the place! Do you want a great hamburger from a local joint?! Come to Eddie's Grill! I have been coming to Yuma for over a year now and every time I am in town I ask to go somewhere local to eat. This time the co-workers said Eddie's and once there I couldn't believe I had not come before! They have every hamburger imaginable on the menu. They even have an entire section of vegetarian sandwiches. The specialty is hamburgers but they also have salads, hot dogs and tacos on the menu that I am told are all just as good. It is an order at the counter and even has a drive thru. Everything is made to order. Once you order your food you get your number and wait for the delivery to your table. We tried Eddie's Grill today on a recommendation from a friend. Sadly we were very dissatisfied. Once seated we were told we had to order at the counter, but they would bring our food to the table. Reviewing the menu we were shocked at the prices, I would expect to pay higher prices at a nice restaurant but not one that doesn't really have table service and looked more like a fast food restaurant! My husband ordered the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich without fries. His sandwich was pretty basic. The chicken was tough and did not have a lot of flavor. I decided to try a dinner item against my better judgment. I ordered the Hawaiian chicken plate. Again the chicken was dry and lacked flavor, the rice was very salty and the mixed vegetables were tough and cold. The menu stated the the chicken topped over 2 scoops of rice. This was incorrect, the rice was on the side and was probably just a half of cup. The drinks came in styrofoam cups instead of a proper glass. Okay, so now the price of the meal. The chicken sandwich alone was $10.50, the Hawaiian Plate was $17.25 and it didn't even come with a side salad. The 2 sodas were $6.50. With tax our total was $37.50! Needless to say we won't be back, we should have realized it wasn't very good when we pulled in to park and there were no cars there. read more

I've been curious about this place after driving by it everyday after work so today I finally decided to try it. It is a dine in or sit down restaurant. I walked in and was told to sit anywhere I'd like and then to go up to the counter where the handed me a menu to order from. I ordered a Santa Barbara burger and a large Dr Pepper. I didn't think that the burger came with fries at least it didn't list that they did on the menu. I took one bite of the fries and that was honestly enough. They were gross. They tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in awhile. My burger looked promising but don't ask for medium well because you will get burnt pieces. Honestly the Pattie's tasted like the frozen Pattie's you can buy at Walmart. So I guess this place is a hit or miss and it seemed I missed out. read more

I've started reviews for the food here more than once in the last 4 years and get sidetracked, but I continue to visit while I'm in Yuma since I've moved away it's that good. Today I needed to (make an actual) post quick simply because as I'm waiting for my order inside I'm watching the staff wipe off EVERYTHING. And I mean everything...down to the little numbers you set on the table to identify your order. i've came here twice now with my dad and both times this place has left me full and happy. this strawberry salad was genuinely the best salad i've ever had. not only did it look amazing but it tasted even better. the chicken was seasoned well and everything in it made it taste just so good together. the pasta was also good and the garlic bread was phenomenal. prior, i had thought that garlic bread and broccoli were gross but after having these it had completely changed what i think about it now. i can't wait to come back here again! read more

I haven't had breakfast here in quite some time but today secured why. I ordered Huevos Rancheros. I couldn't eat it. First of all, the corn tortilla was soft, not deep fried. Then they put the beans on a second soft corn tortilla. It just was pathetic looking and tasting. They garnished it with avocado and that was pretty much the only appealing part of the meal. Even the potatoes were so bland a second round of salt and pepper pepper up the taste a little. Usually this dish is fried corn tortilla with refried beans, topped with sauce and a egg. Guess I better give the cook a lesson for next time. And lastly, I told the cashier who took my order I wanted a large drink. Then she gets this small cup out of the stack. Changes to a medium. Then when I told her I ordered a large, she didn't admit it was her fault. Then she charged me another dollar. A road stop worth the short drive off I-8. Upscale dinner. Serves every type of burger you can imagine. Polite, friendly staff. Plenty of seating. Open until 10 PM. So a perfect road stop.
