I wanted to express my gratitude and thanks to the crew at Eddies. Last Saturday my 75 year old father in law slipped off the driveway in the snowstorm and needed to be pulled out. While driving home from Wi to Illinois my car stalled at an intersection after getting gas. The Sheriff Dept called Eddie's and the tow truck was there in less than 10 minutes The service technician Peter quickly identified the problem even though he had other work to do! Thanks!!!! Then Brittany in the office started making calls to obtain the part required a fuel pump Sadly it was coming from a warehouse from Chicago and would not arrive until the next day! She then drove me to a nearby hotel and the next morning made additional calls to see if she could find the pump! She did and it was delivered at 11:30 and a very short time Peter installed the pump and I was ready to go. Kelly another office gal came to the hotel to pick me up Kudo's to Brittany for her friendly service, quick responses and going way above and beyond Both Kelly who is training Brittany were incredible! I broke down unexpectedly and was towed to Eddie's. What a wonderful group of people! They truly went out of their way to get me going and back on the road. I had to stay overnight at a local motel and they happily brought me there and picked me up all the while helping me with luggage and other items I had to manage, including my 12-year-old Chihuahua. Avoid at all cost, opportunistic con man, my kid had an accident, hit a tree very hard and totaled the vehicle. The ambulance was called as well as a towing service that is located less than 3 miles away from the accident location,I think the police called them (Eddie service) ,this happened at around 11 pm, the next day we called eddie to settle the bill and dispose of the car, the bill was over 500 dollars????? for the towing,alleged cleaning that was done by the property residents and us , and the night on the lot, the average tow around Grafton never exceed $80 (mobil, AA, etc.) for up to 15 miles. Inefficient, careless of scheduling and the most rude, unprofessional receptionist. Had an appointment. Showed up on time. Eddie not there and girl could not find appointment. Said he would be back in 20 mins. Told her I would go do an errand and be right back. Called 20 minutes later. Eddie back but leaving again for several hours because I had left. I reminded her I said I would be right back. She said she didn't hear me: small room, the two of us, twelve feet apart. Really. No apology. Won't get my business and won't get any referrals for tire or other work. Fire the receptionist. Keep your appointments. Follow through. read more

I used them for some minor repairs and towing service in the past and was always very pleased. Then there was the morning I got t-boned on the way to work and called them. They took my car to the yard across from their service building while I worked out with the insurance company where to take it to get fixed. The next day I went to to get the keys and and found that someone had stolen the Harley Davidson fob off the keychain. No one seemed to know anything about it. All I know is that 1) I should have take the fob off the key and 2) I should not have used these guys. I have not and never will use them again! read more

Worst mechanic I've ever been too! My car stalled in the cold winter (the polar vortex 1/19 where it was around -40°) it took them almost and hour to get to me when they said 30 minutes. I'm lucky I didn't lose my toes. Then they said the battery was fine and it was my alternator. Unfortunately it was too late for them to call and order parts. Ok fine....the gal promised to call me FIRST THING IN THE MORNING with an estimate on my car. Meanwhile I'm stranded with no car in the middle of a state wide emergency due to cold. Guess what! All day....no phone call! When I finally get a hold of them the next day they said they were waiting for me to call!!!! Are you fucking kidding me!? So then they start working on it and many hours go by so I get a ride to the shop....low and behold they apparently ordered the wrong part! Another day I'm without my car!!!!! They call and say it's done Friday afternoon, note I had it towed there on Tuesday, I'm at work so I can't make it in. I work Saturday morning too...can't pick up my car til Monday. My husband drives it home and says he's worried cuz the battery and check engine light came on but then went off. I said it's probably fine right!? WRONG! The next day I try to start it to drive to work.....DOES NOT START!!! This place apparently does shitty work and has poor customer service. I'm gonna have to call then about this and see what they say but I can tell you this: I will never come back and neither should anyone else! read more

I took my car in to Eddie's on 3-29-21 to have them check it out because it wasn't running good and I didn't know why. They gave me a quote of 1340.20 and I thought that was way too much because the car was a 2009 traverse with other body work problem and told them to just make sure it runs. Within 200 miles I had the same problem and took it back. They gave me another quote of 2,129 to have it "fixed". I was very upset but I went ahead with it. When I left the second time I didn't make it home. The car broke down and I had to call 911 because it was on fire. Incident report 21-12975 They were nice enough to pick me up and have it towed back to the place I just paid a total of 3400 dollars but the office was closed so I had to wait for their phone call about what would happen next. No phone call. When I returned to see if my car was fixed they said the engine was totaled and there was nothing they could do about it. I just returned from our library to print out the paper work to file a small claims case. DO NOT GO TO EDDIES!!!!!! They sent me out in a unsafe car that could of hurt people, started on fire, and refused to give me a penny back and now they want me to tow it off their lot. UNREAL!!!!!!!! read more

I had two good fair priced repairs in the past. The most recent repair was a shock. Over $800.00 for a after market Catalytic converter the part from NAPA was $200.00. The car still needed a muffler. I'm just saying be careful and beware. read more
