Not a fan of the "big name" no heart companies out there. The first time was to snake a bathroom drain. Not very exciting but they did a great job and cleaned up after. You would never have know they were there. 2nd call was because after receiving a very high water bill it was discovered I had a running toilet. I called just after my basement flooded with over 12" of water and the woman who I spoke with (Donna) could not have been more wonderful. Not only could they install a new toilet (to replace my ancient one) they brought one to me to save me the hassle of figuring out how I was going to get it to my house in my small car. To add to my amazing experience I found out the day before they were to come out, the city was doing work on the water lines and was going to shut off the water. Donna worked her magic and squeezed me in that day! Dan was professional & courteous and did a great job!! I will NEVER call anyone else for any plumbing needs.

Sal was extremely professional in sending out their repair person. However, the person who came…read morewas very unfriendly. When I asked him to wear a mask, he refused. When I asked him to check if there was a leak of gas from my furnace, he said everything is in good working condition and there are multiple safety measures to prevent any leak. But when I asked how to be sure there is no leak, he said that is a second step to measure with a meter and it will cost another $89. In any event, I didn't find him to be friendly and helpful to rule out my initial complaint. I did not opt for the second step. No second step for diagnosis was informed by Sal earlier. That said, I guess I must give the business a 5-star rating based on the professional scheduling and followup of the appointment. "One swallow doesn't make a summer' or "one bad day" is not a true reflection of the company. I am changing my rating at Sal's text request personally. It's only changed because I can understand Sal's concern as a businessman. He offered me free service in return but I declined it again. He got me wrong completely. My changed rating is only for the professionalism shown by the reception desk and their follow-up. It is not for the changed picture Ron gave that I asked if Ron wanted me to wear a mask. Who would ask that in one's own house? I was wearing my mask thoughout the encounter. As a 65+ year-old, I must be cautious. I don't need a service person's permission to wear a mask inside my house. Unbelievable. But I thought I must clarify to Sal's reply. Thanks Sal for your prompt response. But, isn't that a courteous way to ask ? - "You might want to wear a mask". He saw I was wearing one and he was entering my residence. Yes, I could have insisted but I think that is rude. Secondly, my complaint was "gas leak" and hence, the request to send someone from your company. I am not disputing any diagnosis. I just placed it before you, so it doesn't happen again.. I don't want any money back either. Service was rendered and I accept your company's policy. However, I thank the reception desk for immediately scheduling the appointment the same day. Now 2 parts that cost 80 dollars to replace they want 750 for which will take 20 mins to install. As someone whose family grew up using sals and I have used sals since moving back to North Royalton you lost a customer for life and I'll never recommend them to anyone. The techs that came out have all been great the management is absolutely awful. Zero understanding and zero care. After dropping over 8k in a few yrs this is absolutely not how you treat a valued customer. The deal breaker was the tech today telling me the wiring which was done and installed by Sals was wrong. They don't stand by their work. Their solution today was 5% off and some bs year membership of routine checking. Avoid at all costs , customer service is absolutely awful. Left on hold to tell me oh well that's the best we can do. Absolutely pathetic understanding of expected results.
