We needed a GFCI outlet installed on the exterior of our home. The previous outlet was receiving no power, so the technician traced to where power was previously taken from and rewired it to a switch inside. After the install, the technician showed that the outlet was working, but after he left I noticed the switches inside were no longer working and my indoor living room lights no longer switched on. I texted for support and was told they would send the technician back. He came back about an hour later and it was explained in further detail how he did the project and what caused the issue. My only complaint is that this should have been explained better from the start, but they did their best to resolve the issue quickly, so overall I'm very happy. They also did this for a very reasonable price. I would definitely give them a chance, just make sure the project is talked through in detail beforehand. read more

AVOID: Dishonest, Incompetent, and Refused to Honor Warranty Service: Govee Permanent Light Installation I hired Kevin based on his claimed expertise with Govee Lights, but the installation was a disaster. He relied on weak tape rather than staples or clamps, causing the lights to fall off within a week. Despite my specific requests to use staples during the install and his return visits, he refused and simply applied more tape, which failed hours later. After two ineffective attempts to fix it, he stopped answering calls and eventually demanded an extra $199 to finally add staples--effectively charging me to fix his own workmanship that was supposed to be covered by a 1-year warranty. I ultimately had to hire a different electrician to fix the mess, which they did easily in a few hours. Kevin does not stand behind his work; save your money and look elsewhere. read more

I should have listened to the other 1 star reviews but I had an electrical emergency and allowed this company to come to my home for an estimate without reading reviews first. Big mistake. What a nightmare and a waste of my time! Their estimate was the highest of three bids (by a lot), and the communication afterwards was so disrespectful towards me and my husband. Threatening me is not ok. Why would you treat a customer this way just because they didn't hire you? I've hired so many contractors through the years and truly never had such a terrible experience. I refused and later discovered I was out $1,000 for parts they claimed to have purchased but never did. When I hired another licensed professional, the job was done correctly for $1,700. That technician even pointed out that the first company had messed up wiring, which made the repair more expensive than it should have been. We requested Kevin and his team to come and change out the valve we use for our shower. He was really quick at responding at the very beginning when we requested the work, but he's really bad at responding or keeping his word on the time they will come in. So after the installation was done, we found out this was not the lever that we wanted. But yes, it is ENTIRELY OUR FAULT for not checking the valve first before his team installed it. So we tried for 3 days to try and get his attention on it and I've sent him several links on to confirm which lever to purchase. Well we had to bring in another plumber to confirm we bought the correct one, but only to find out that the lever Kevin told us to buy was not compatible with the valve that his team installed. So we had other plumbers come out for an estimate and check out the work so we can get the correct valve installed. All of the plumbers we asked a quote for has mentioned that Kevin's team used subpar quality materials and that in the long run, we will most likely get a leak. Update for 8/8/2024. I have been threatened to be sued for defamation after this review. Update for 8/10/2024. Kevin actually impersonated a lawyer to scare me into taking down this Yelp review. Guess what, I actually knew this law firm and was able to confirm it was a hoax. Update for 8/23/2024. Kevin just called me out for being a fake review from a competitive contractor.
