I am so happy I found Eden Tailor! I needed a bridesmaid dress altered ASAP, and Eden Tailor was able to fit me in with a one-week turnaround on the entire alterations. Amy was very kind and helpful and took the time to explain my options regarding the dress, including whether or not I planned to wear this dress again to determine the amount of work to be done. My boyfriend brought his Eton dress shirt here to be tapered on the sides and add darts in the back over a year ago. The shirt didn't seem to fit him right, so it sat in the closet this last year until he decided to have it tailored again. He went to another tailor and learned that the original work done (by Eden Tailor) was only darts (double darts) - the original Eton stitching still in tact on the sides of the shirt. Came in expecting to order/replace the zipper of an old worn jacket with some sentimental value. Neda handed the garment to the man working at the sewing machine behind her and explained that he was really good with zippers, and he promptly took a break from the project in front of him and took it in the back. While he did that, Neda began going over the different zipper options with me should we need to replace it. Five minutes later he emerged with the zipper good as new! They had me try it on a stretch the fabric around a bit to ensure it would stay fastened & repaired, and then instructed me on how to avoid redamaging it in the future. They did so all free of charge and sent me on my way, and genuinely cared about helping out a first time walk-in. Will recommend their shop to anybody in need of a tailor in the area. Amazing quality alterations and customer service. I came in this morning to pick up a pair of pants, but they not been delivered yet by their sister store. Neda offered to drive the pants to me in Malibu later in the day. As promised, she called me at 3PM and drove the pants to Malibu. This type of service is truly rare in today's world. I'm so glad I found this tailor. I've been looking for a good tailor on the Westside that won't break my bank with a hem job and I found Eden. I've been to a few other alteration shops around town that have done an excellent job however sometimes they want to charge as much as what I bought the item for. Eden was $12 to hem my yoga/work out pants. The first time they were hemmed to short for my taste but without hesitation the owner said they would redo them immediately. I did take her up on her offer but waited until the following week for them (my choice). They are now perfect and I will definitely be back. I love the owner's pleasant demeanor - so refreshing! My old tailor retired, and I've been looking for a new one for a while, someone who does quality work. After going to a number of places in Santa Monica/West LA I finally came across Eden. I took two dresses in last week one for a wedding and the other to be tapered. My gown for the wedding had quite a lot of embellishments and a complicated design, I wasn't even sure they'd be able to tailor it. They ended proving me wrong and did a fantastic job. I went to Eden's to get a zipper replace on a pair of jeans. They completed them the same day and they look great! Although same day turnarounds are probably not the norm, I told them I was starting a new job and they tried to expedite. Excellent alterations place. The place is lovely and clean. They have two changing rooms to try clothes on. I took a suit: the inner lining of the jacket needed repair and the pants had to be hemmed. I was given the option to patch up the lining instead of replacing it. They did a stellar job. The price super reasonable. Absolutely worth the wait.
