There's an absolute reason they now have 3 stars. Dropped off 2 pairs of pants one to shorten, one to lengthen. Pair #1 (the ones shortened) came back w the right leg about 3/4 longer than the left. Pair #2, we agreed to let out about an inch with the indication of a pin. Pair #2 was let all the way out now rendering them about 3.5 inches too long. When bringing back pair #1 I was gaslit and told the pants legs were the same when visibly in the mirror they were about 3/4 an inch off. Finally she admitted I was right and they were in fact uneven but not before telling me, 'I see it, but just pull your pants up higher on the one side.' Like WHAT?!? Pants #2 I was told they were not ever pinned and that I asked them to be let all the way out so I'd have to pay again to have them fixed. I agreed bc I need the pants for an upcoming trip. Picked up pair #2 and the legs are uneven by about 1/2 inch. Gaslit again saying they were perfect and I was nuts, so paid 2x for uneven pants. I truly warn you to stay away. Being my sole tailor for almost 20 years it's a sad reality to face.

I appreciate his great eye and understanding of menswear and fine details as well. I first visited this tailor a few years ago with a blazer that I had bought overseas. Because of my height, jackets always have to be cut down and made slimmer, and buying off the rack suits is a nightmare because the pants are always way too big in the waist and require a lot of tailoring. William did the most beautiful job on a blazer that I bought in Spain and even added special stitching to the button holes; it has been my favorite jacket ever since. Last week I brought in a new suit and some shirts to take in, and he did the most incredible tailoring job once again. I've had suits tailored in Rome by some of the best tailors my friends recommended, and honestly I think William is better than any of them. The shop is also decorated with antique cameras on display and lots of interesting things to look at. The whole staff is super charming and nice. There's parking in back in a small lot with meters and I believe the shop has a couple of parking spots of their own, but I haven't used them. I give this establishment my highest recommendation as a tailor and also the prices are a good value. Turn around is quick as well. The jackets and suits that I have brought here have always ended up being my favorite and best fitting pieces.

I went in on a Saturday to get a dress altered and she means business! Immediately she said hi, pointed me to a fitting room, and started asking questions. I loved it. Absolute professional. I walked out and she said I needed nothing done. She adjusted my straps and told me with the shoes my dress was perfect. She was honest and straightforward and I'm bringing all my clothes to her from now on. I even asked her if the straps needed to be more secure and what her opinion was of a second slit. She gave me her feedback and told me it was unnecessary when a lesser person would've taken my money. She's an expert and she's amazing. I'll be back.
